                                                            We really enjoyed this place. Menu was extensive and food was very good, but tables were a bit crowded indoors, esp. in the covid era. Good wine list. I would definitely go back, but would probably try to sit outdoors next time.

                                                            Had early dinner prior to an event. Only diners outside was nice. nice atmosphere. Waiter/servers couldn’t have been nicer. Started with buffalo mozz tomato caprese salad. was good, could have used a little more cheese but tasty. Wife had ravioli with spinach and cheese. Didn’t see or taste any cheese though. But she liked it. I had seafood fettuccine. Asked for no mussels and if chef would substitute little more of other fish as dish usually is 40% mussels. They said absolutely no problem. well didn’t come with a lot of fish. I would have ordered something else. Not enough for the price IMO. decent amount of calamari, few scallops and 3 shrimp. Didn’t have any clams which it was supposed to. Asked staff and the brought a few out. Good IPA and wine. skipped dessert. Would go back.

The wait staff and owner were considered family by the end of the evening. Everything we ordered (scallops and salmon) were excellent. Attention to detail was exceptional.

                                                            Very busy restaurant and waited for 15 mins even with a reservation. Noise level is high. That being said, the service is excellent, it is a nice atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. Seafood pasta, lobster ravioli, ahi tuna, charcuterie, bread was fabulous. We really enjoyed it, will definitely return. A local favorite for us.

They have many items in the menu; but at least four items that we picked were not available at that time. It was very noisy and they do not have a waiting area for the guests that are waiting to be seated.

                                                            Mele Bistro never disappoints. The ingredients and the cooking are of the highest quality, and they have managed to maintain that standard for many years. Seafood is always fresh, flown in daily. You can choose the portion size you prefer — full-size or “small plate” — and portions are reasonable in each category. The vegetables are also prepared with imagination. Service is exceptionally friendly, even when they’re super-busy, as can happen. It’s really nice to see this place attain the popularity it deserves.

                                                            We met friends we haven’t seen for a long time. We wanted them to experience Mele Bistro and they weren’t disappointed. We started the meal with friend calamari and a fried cheese salad. The calamari was tender and perfectly crisp and the cheese ball was soft and rich. One diner had the small plate butternut squash ravioli and it was more than she could finish. Another had the small plate ahi tuna. My husband had the Pennsylvania rainbow trout and I ordered a small grilled scallop plate. We all enjoyed our choices—the fish and scallops were cooked to just the right tenderness and had wonderful sauces to compliment them. We have never been disappointed by our visit to Mele and highly recommend it for any occasion, including just going out for good food and ambiance.

                                                            If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The customer service was absolutely amazing!!! Best customer service I've had at any restaurant by far. We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in the door. The food is so fresh! Frank was the best very kind and funny, and he made sure our dining experience was above average. The entire waiting staff was very attentive; we never wanted for anything. The food was so delicious 10/10. For appetizer I ordered the Portabella mushrooms (freakin delicious), and for my entrée I had the spicy vegetarian pasta both options were vegan friendly so that was great for me. My boyfriend ordered the lamb sausage for an appetizer, and the original salmon with garlic mashed potatoes, and whiled spinach for entrée also 10/10 according to him. We will definitely be back soon. I highly recommend!

                                                            The experience was great from the minute we walked in till the owner himself accompanied us to the front door thanking us for dining with them. The food was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Was very sweet of the restaurant to present a flower and a balloon in celebration of Valentine’s Day to every guest upon exit. Will definitely return anytime I’m in the area in the future.

                                                            Absolutely outstanding on all fronts! We went here for Valentines Day and the place was decorated to the nines for the Day. The service was impeccable and everyone was greeted by the owner/manager. Food was outstanding, we had the Flounder Francis, was one of the best dishes I have had in some time. We also had the seafood ravioli which was outstanding. Great selection of wine and cocktails . Truly a unique neighborhood restaurant that is really outstanding and provides e memorable dining experience.
