45 minutes for wine to arrive. Food late and they 0nly brought 2 of 3 entrees out. One entree was taken by different server- had to wait 30 minutes for entree- others ate so food would not be cold. Heard servers apologizing to other guests about service. Not sure if hat happened that night. It was out first time there. Will never go back.

We had to wait 30 minutes for the bill. And it was wrong. Had to wait another 15 minutes for corrected bill. Then found out my card was also charged for a second bill of one of the guests who received their own bill too. Cool place. Food was good. (Out of the prime rib one of our party wanted). We won't be back. For these prices you expect and deserve perfection.

Melange has potential but missed its mark. We were not advised in advance of the 3% credit card fee so that we could prepare & bring cash (it’s not stated on the web & we had made reservations). We were exactly on time for our reservation. Beautiful space & ambiance. The host was warm & charming but our server didn’t greet us for nearly 15 minutes after being sat. (I almost got up to go find someone to help with this.) There is a charge for bread (a small baguette). A definite thumbs down for a restaurant of this caliber. Our shrimp cocktail had BARELY any sauce for the lovely, jumbo shrimp (server never came back to check so we could ask for more). The baby iceberg was really delicious & cut to share. Emily (I think a manager?) came and checked on us and help us select a bottle of wine. She was the highlight of the meal & we had nice small talk with her. This helped since our server hadn’t been over and our cocktail glasses were empty for some time. Our filet (that we shared) was an entire temp over, though well seasoned. Again, no return from our server to check so that this could be addressed. We were even planning on having dessert and coffee but due to all of the misses above, went to another location nearby for this. Overall disappointing way to spend our 1 year anniversary, especially considering what it cost us. We will not be returning.

What a let down we were looking forward to it. Our service was very very bad. The waitress did not know the menu at all she could not tell up how the food was prepared . Also my husband ordered oysters and she told him they were out but the table next to us about 20 minutes after we ordered got an order the exactly what my husband wanted and was told they were out. Nothing came out of the kitchen together like it is supposed to including appetizers and main dishes . The only upside of our experience was the food.

Joe the server was awesome! My food was delicious but the only thing I would change is the pasta . It was too al dente for me. The portion was a nice size as well. I would visit again.

Melange definitely raises the caliber of restaurants in downtown Canton. It will be on my list of places to frequent. The decor was nicely updated. The food was good. The apps we amazing- calamari was superb, but different than most restaurants serve it. Baby wedge salad was a must try also. The entrees were good, but we have to find our go to entree. Great drink selection as well. To cap it off, it might have been the best service we’ve had in a long time. It was our first time there, but it didn’t disappoint. We need to try on a weekend when the back room is busy.

Branzino Sea bass was the entree choice. The appetizer poutine fries are nothing to write home about. Just fries with some cheese and just a tad bit of gravy. Not so exciting. The French onion soup is super yummy. Nice thick cheese(think I like it?) and savory onions and broth. Just visiting but I would recommend. Maybe pur Uber driver will try it.

Food was excellent, but it was a very slow evening. Our reservation was for 7pm. It took a long time to order drinks, appetizer and then entrees. We did not get our entrees until after 8:20pm. We got our bill from the server at 8:59. Overall not a great dining experience. If we would have known it would take 2 hours total we would have ate a snack before coming. If you enjoy a very slow dining experience then this is for you. The quality of food did not out weigh everything else. We won’t be coming back.

I booked this for both my parents 87 birthday. The experience was beyond expectations. The staff was so helpful through the whole process. Decorating the table and letting them taste several wines to find the perfect one. Thanks so much to everyone at Melange

I thought the food was OK but was pricey for what you got. They had not updated the website with new menu and no longer had what I had picked out before our 1sr time there. Only had 2 beers left of what my husband ordered and did not have the wine I had chosen... I was not very impressed with the place. Our waiter was great! Too many other good places around with better food in this area.

Food was delicious! They offered some unique items, I tried blackened octopus. I thought it was good but not something I would order again…little chewy but that might just be octopus. Service was good. They had someone training with our waitress, which is fine; but I think a better way to train is to do the training amongst themselves and just have them “help out” until they are ready to go on their own. My group was disappointed the dance floor/room was closed on Friday night. The story we were told was the DJ had another event. They could have had Pandora radio on auto play for all we cared. Also, it can be a bit pricey so be prepared. I think the taste, ambiance, service, and door floor are worth it.

We went for our anniversary and it was exactly what I was expecting to get. The food and drinks were excellent. The server/bartender was good. It was a very nice place to celebrate a special day.

Outstanding!!!! have dined at many "fancy" restaurants, but this was an experience all its own. From being greeted as family, to entrees so creative you think you overseas!!! If you haven't tried it ...You must!!!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Melange and were very pleased with the food, atmosphere and service. We both ordered from the fixed price menu options and enjoyed our dinners. My husband's dinner was the clear winner however and I highly recommend the smoked chicken stuffed ravioli. This is not an inexpensive place to have dinner and I worry that Melange may have a hard time sustaining a steady weeknight business due to all the other excellent dining options in downtown Canton. That said, was it worth it? Absolutely! And we'll be back.

Was looking fwd to the bone marrow. On a Saturday nite @7p & they were out. Ordered French onion soup in place. The broth literally had no taste and then the rest tasted like oil. Mgr came to apologize said that the chef tasted it and confirmed it. I would think the chef would’ve tasted it prior to it being sold not once it was sent back. Was offered a side of Mushroom Risotto accepted & when it came it lacked seasoning. No salt or pepper were on the table provided. 1 person had to full size Mushroom risotto which I had a taste & it had very good flavor. But the side not so much. Another person ordered a wedge salad with salmon she enjoyed it although it lacked enough dressing had to request more. The last item ordered was the mozzarella Burrata the portions seemed off the jam portion provided vs the size of the mozzarella ball were way off as well as the few drops of balsamic that looked more like decor on the plate than anything and the crostini was very very hard. Finally as we were paying we received someone else’s credit card already in our bill when we opened it, we gave to the waitress. Then provided our & took the waitress forever to come back and bring our checks back to sign after giving our credit card. Thankfully we were engaged in a conversation. But if we were trying to leave this would’ve been an issue. I really wanted to like this place as I had heard good things about. I don’t know if this was an off night or not but definitely was not impressed enough to come back and try the food again unfortunately. Very disappointing as I have been to AP multiple times and enjoy their food.

Everything was amazing. From the moment we pulled in we got greeted by the valet, the hostess service right away in the booth I requested. Our server was amazing and so was our food. Then we had a little cocktail at the bar after dinner it was the perfect evening.

An outstanding experience. From being greeted by the Valet to seating that is nothing short of a "Luxury Suit" . The entrees and specialized Cocktails were nothing short of spectacular!!! Would recommend it to anyone looking for an incredible experience. All this in Canton Ohio!!! Bravo to the owners!!!

Our first time at Melange, I requested a table off to the side on line at Open Table, they were seating us right in the middle of the dining room, I ask for a table to the side, they did accommodate us, seemed a little annoyed by my request, however, from there every thing was wonderful! Tommy, our server was so nice and knew what he was talking about, cocktails and food were delicious, service impeccable! Definitely be back! I’m guessing they don’t read the comments on the reservation if you leave any. Thank you Tommy for a great experience!

Ate here again for my son's 15th birthday celebration and was, again, not disappointed. He got the twin Maine lobster tails, which he said was "super fresh & better than ones he had in Maryland"! We shared scrumptious appetizers of duck confit poutine (which we MJST have every time we come here) & a delicious kalamari special and he also had a large Caesar salad. I had the smoked pork tenderloin with cheddar grits, which was to die for; so moist & flavorful! Got a piece of cheesecake to go, which he enjoyed this morning. The patio was open and it was a wonderful atmosphere with it being "First Friday". Our server Michael was exceptional and made the evening that much better Will definitely be back..and soon!
