What a meal! Husband had the strip steak and I had the filet. We both had our steaks topped with garlic butter and it was worth the $5 up charge. Melange has been beautifully redecorated. You can’t tell that it used to be a long time pizzeria. The bar service was a little slow. I read that in another review so I was prepared. That’s really the only thing they need to work on. Great spot for a special occasion dinner but they do have lower cost options like sandwiches available.

Ambiance, service and food were very good. The only negative was a lack of parking near the restaurant. I am from out of town and had a difficult time figuring out where to park.

This place was AMAZING! The food and service was top tier and we loved everything we ordered, including the drinks! We were a little bummed the cocktail lounge was under renovations but still had a great time. My friend had the seafood bucatini and I had the risotto with shrimp and both dishes were great! We even loved the fried calamari. Will definitely be back!

Good experience overall and definitely would return. Service was a bit disorganized and effusive to the point that more than four people interrupted our conversation to make sure all was well. That's better than the alternative, but still distracting.

Food was very good. Some creative items on the menu. I would say we were asked how everything was too many times. It interrupted our conversation. Also, the check out took too long and the excuse was a new processing machine. I’ll go back and try them again tho.

Our server was new and a bit overwhelmed. The female owner jumped in and took awesome care of us. We did have to wait for drinks and food but it was worth it. She did comp my meal and offered a free dessert (we decided on the espresso martini (dessert drink lol). We will definitely be back!

Wow! The new menu at Melange is to die for! My husband and I split and shared our meals because we wanted to try it all! Started with the Korean Corn Dogs (I’m not a corn dog girl and these things are amazing!) then the French Onion Soup- YUM. He got the Strip Steak Oscar-style medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. And I got the Scallops which had the BEST flavor I’ve ever had with scallops and the slightly crunchy top made the texture perfection! Can’t say enough good things about Nick + Emily and their entire crew at Melange!! Well done all and thanks for a great bday celebration for my husband! Xoxo

The service was wonderful. And we really enjoyed our dinner. The meatballs/sauce appetizer was yummy! Salmon perfect. And the special side of scallops, crab leg and lobster is unbelievable. Cocktails are very creative...Queen of Hearts and Written in the Stars is so pretty.

We had the absolute best time here! We received the most amazing service from the sweetest servers, each course of food was unbelievable, and the vibe in the restaurant was unmatched. We will definitely be making the Mélange our usual spot! Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more!

We had a fantastic experience at Melange! and would rate them 5 stars for their atmosphere, ambience, food, and service. The steaks were absolutely delightful - savory, juicy, and incredibly tasty; some of the best we have had anywhere. I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely fabulous from beginning to end. Staring with the polite prompt service of the valets (they don’t receive due appreciation), to being greeted by lovely Tammy, having our bartender prepare a specially crafted smoky bourbon cocktail, and being so very well attended to by Anna with such great style and class throughout our evening. Such a superb evening!

I took my mother to this restaurant for her bday and it was the most amazing experience. The staff was great, our waitress was the best. Everyone was so polite and pleasant. We even got to dance in the party room to the back and someone actually played the songs we requested. The food was amazing as well

45 minutes for wine to arrive. Food late and they 0nly brought 2 of 3 entrees out. One entree was taken by different server- had to wait 30 minutes for entree- others ate so food would not be cold. Heard servers apologizing to other guests about service. Not sure if hat happened that night. It was out first time there. Will never go back.

We had to wait 30 minutes for the bill. And it was wrong. Had to wait another 15 minutes for corrected bill. Then found out my card was also charged for a second bill of one of the guests who received their own bill too. Cool place. Food was good. (Out of the prime rib one of our party wanted). We won't be back. For these prices you expect and deserve perfection.

Melange has potential but missed its mark. We were not advised in advance of the 3% credit card fee so that we could prepare & bring cash (it’s not stated on the web & we had made reservations). We were exactly on time for our reservation. Beautiful space & ambiance. The host was warm & charming but our server didn’t greet us for nearly 15 minutes after being sat. (I almost got up to go find someone to help with this.) There is a charge for bread (a small baguette). A definite thumbs down for a restaurant of this caliber. Our shrimp cocktail had BARELY any sauce for the lovely, jumbo shrimp (server never came back to check so we could ask for more). The baby iceberg was really delicious & cut to share. Emily (I think a manager?) came and checked on us and help us select a bottle of wine. She was the highlight of the meal & we had nice small talk with her. This helped since our server hadn’t been over and our cocktail glasses were empty for some time. Our filet (that we shared) was an entire temp over, though well seasoned. Again, no return from our server to check so that this could be addressed. We were even planning on having dessert and coffee but due to all of the misses above, went to another location nearby for this. Overall disappointing way to spend our 1 year anniversary, especially considering what it cost us. We will not be returning.

What a let down we were looking forward to it. Our service was very very bad. The waitress did not know the menu at all she could not tell up how the food was prepared . Also my husband ordered oysters and she told him they were out but the table next to us about 20 minutes after we ordered got an order the exactly what my husband wanted and was told they were out. Nothing came out of the kitchen together like it is supposed to including appetizers and main dishes . The only upside of our experience was the food.

Joe the server was awesome! My food was delicious but the only thing I would change is the pasta . It was too al dente for me. The portion was a nice size as well. I would visit again.

Melange definitely raises the caliber of restaurants in downtown Canton. It will be on my list of places to frequent. The decor was nicely updated. The food was good. The apps we amazing- calamari was superb, but different than most restaurants serve it. Baby wedge salad was a must try also. The entrees were good, but we have to find our go to entree. Great drink selection as well. To cap it off, it might have been the best service we’ve had in a long time. It was our first time there, but it didn’t disappoint. We need to try on a weekend when the back room is busy.

Branzino Sea bass was the entree choice. The appetizer poutine fries are nothing to write home about. Just fries with some cheese and just a tad bit of gravy. Not so exciting. The French onion soup is super yummy. Nice thick cheese(think I like it?) and savory onions and broth. Just visiting but I would recommend. Maybe pur Uber driver will try it.
