Excellent service, but some problems with the food (undercooked) and the a dirty wine glass. I think it has the potential to be a top notch restaurant, but need more attention to detail.
We had a fantastic experience! The food was amazing the servers were very attentive and guided us through our entire dining experience. We dined at Mélange for my fathers birthday and the team really made him feel special. Highly recommend!
My husband, daughter and I enjoyed our dinner at Melange last evening. Everyone was welcoming and the young man who was our server was great. He was friendly and attentive and made us all feel happy to be there. Our dinners were delicious (especially the Crispy Brussel sprouts and the Chilean Sea Bass). All the staff wore masks, and we were seated comfortably away from other diners so we felt very safe. Thanks for a great evening!

Great brunch set up! Chicken karaage and waffles one of the best I’ve had. The karaage cooked perfect and great flavor. The tuna carpaccio style was to die for. Nice size shrimps on the shrimp cocktails. The trio sandwich is fabulous. Great flavor and mixture of sandwiches. Yes I’ll Deifntley go back to change up our orders.
Had a wonderful night with superb server’s service and also chef’s hospitality to come out to say hi to us. The food came very quickly and all the items were nicely presented on the plates and very delicious. I loved fried Hirame fish and fillet mignon stake with wasabi infused mashed potatoes.

First of all this is a very new restaurant. I think they only open 1 month ago so there will be a lot of improvement especially on the limited menu. It is located in Le Meridian hotel and the restaurant is beautiful. Service is excellent and definitely worth for a revisit when the menu is expanded.
5 women for dinner, and the shared plates were terrific. Our favorites were the tofu, chicken octopus and risotto. Deserts great, too!
Melange is located inside Le Meridian in Arcadia, right across the racetrack and near the hospital. There appears only to be valet parking and the restaurant validates (3 hrs/$10). Melange is located right by the front entrance and you can’t miss it. We made it to our 6pm reservation and I am glad we didn’t come any later because it started to get really busy by 6:30-8. Our server, Amina, was spectacular. We asked her for some food and drink recommendations and she did not steer us wrong. The tuna tataki, crispy spicy tofu, sautéed diced scallops w/ uni and drinks were great. We also ordered the garlic noodles with crispy onions which I thought could’ve been a little more garlicky. My husband thought they were a little bit on the dryer side but something I appreciate about these noodles is that they had a little bit of char. We ordered a protein, the 10oz prime peppercorn New York steak. It didn’t come medium rare like we had asked and it’s a shame because it was $42. By the time our last two entrees arrived, the restaurant was probably 60% full and we already heard servers apologizing to nearby tables that their food was running late. Keeping in mind this restaurant only opened a month ago. There is definitely still room for improvement. Moving onto dessert, we ordered the matcha basque cheesecake which was a nice bitterness to balance out the 3 scoops of ice cream we got as part of their Le Scoop program. The cheesecake was a little dense in my opinion (coming from someone who has made basque cheesecake before). The Le Scoop program is unique in that they teamed up with local ice cream shop, Fosselmans, for some unique flavors to add onto the restaurant menu.

Lovely atmosphere, this was my second visit. The first was to the bar/restaurant where I found the ambience, food and service to be wonderful. Great musical entertainment that wasn’t overbearing. My second visit was to Melange, again the service and food were excellent. My entire group raved about the food, so flavorful and the unique menu makes for a nice change when going out in the area. Our group tried a variety of menu items, all fabulous !! This new gem in Arcadia will certainly become a hot spot. My little tic-toker in the group is likely boasting about it now so I would suggest getting in before it takes off.
Sea food aficionados will swoon over Chef Tanaka's imaginative and umami packed food. Braised octopus melts in the mouth. Yellow fin crude is bright and fresh. Scallops topped with uni was rich with flavor and the side of noodles with fried garlic added the right amount of heft. The steamed salmon was deceptively simple - full of flavor. Service was impeccable. A bottle of wine had been set aside for us the night before but could not be located when we arrived. Our server took the initiative to track it down and found it well hidden to prevent it being sold.
Make a game of finding all the equestrian references in the decor. Finish the evening on the patio with a drink and live music.
Beautiful and upscale restaurant with service and flavors to match! Mélange is my new favorite place for dinner and the new Le Meridien hotel is gorgeous! The service is also top notch here. Upon arrival, valet is quick and professional, Ricardo our host, greeted us with a friendly and welcoming smile. I also love the ambience of the restaurant and how the tables are set in a way where you don't feel like you're in the next table's conversation! Our server Erik was amazing! He was friendly, attentive, and really took the time to make sure we were enjoying our meal. One of the managers, Tessy even stopped by our table to check on us! Eddie our busser made sure our table was always clear and ready for our next meal.
We started off with the Crispy Oysters, Garlic Noodles, and the Grilled Baby Romaine. I would buy the sauce in those Crispy Oysters! It was so good that we were dipping our noodles in it lol! Next, we shared the Tuna Tataki, Sautéed Scallops w/ Uni, Chilean Sea Bass, and Lamb Chops. My girlfriend and I can eat! Our food came out timely and fresh so big kudos to the kitchen! It is family style here so I recommend breaking up your meal like we did with some small plates, then moving on to the larger items. The flavors in every dish are impeccable. The sauce in the tuna is delicious and refreshing, the sea bass melts in your mouth like butter, the scallops are perfectly cooked and seasoned along with the lamb chops! I don't know how we had room but we managed to squeeze in gelato for dessert. I suggest the yuzu, ube and matcha combo! So yummy and the perfect way to end our meal!
I read that the Executive Chef comes from the likes of Wolfgang Puck and Spago. As well as running his own restaurant in Beverly Hills, you can definitely taste his talent in the menu. Chef Mako did an unbelievable job with these dishes, the flavor combinations are perfect and the sauces are life changing! I can't wait to try the rest of his dishes!

When we read about the chef who was from a Michelin rated restaurant, we quickly booked a table. However, what we should have done was to wait at least a few months before this place has settled on its tracks.
The appetizers and the main courses all arrived at the same time, except one of the main courses. We alerted the waiting staff and the excuse was "it is a family style serving so that guests would share all the dishes at once!" The last item was the grilled steak and did not arrive until we have finished everything. So, there goes the "family style" serving.
The overall service was great! Our server was very attentive and friendly. So nice of her to offer free dessert due to the serving snafu!
The price was reasonable for a mid-tier hotel restaurant, but none of the dishes are memorable. The steak dish was a very generous portion and good to share.
Lastly, parking was unreasonable since there are no self park and all guests have to pay for valet parking. Luckily, we found free parking inside a public park adjacent to the hotel.

My husband and I enjoyed a very lovely dinner. The servers were amazing and they had great recommendations. Loved the spicy tofu! We'll definitely be returning. I'm not a vegetarian, but would've preferred more vegetarian options, though. Overall, we had a great dinner and the service was perfect!
Totally disappointing! We were super exited visited Mélange at the LeMeridien Arcadia, for there grand opening, things started off ok at the lounge, and the beginning of dinner as our server Connie, was top notch, problems started when the food came out. They didn’t bring all of our dishes out at the same time actually they brought (2) plates out first and then after almost an hour and letting out server know about our (2) other dishes as well as speaking to the manager they came out and were totally tasteless, I hope they get there act together.
