Amazing Food! Specially the dessert Halawet el Jebn is a must try if you love desserts!
Great place, wonderful service. The food was delicious, the server was friendly. Everyone who works their is really friendly!
Me Jana did not disappoint. The service was great despite it being a busy Saturday night, with an attentive but not oversolicitous server and fast arrival of the food. The appetizers were very good (chicken shawarma sliders, mozzarella salad, hummus). The entrees were good as well (lamb kebobs, tilapia special; the best one was the calimari) but I was less impressed by the flavor profile - it seemed a little lacking in comparison to the appetizers. Overall, a good experience and would go again.
First time visiting MeJana. We were staying at the Residence Inn across the street, and wanted a restaurant within walking distance. We were very pleased with the restaurant. We were seated right away. The service was excellent. Our server helped us select a bottle of wine by bringing us samples of 3 wines. The wine we chose was excellent. The food was delicious. It came out hot and we were not rushed through dinner, nor were we sitting waiting for our food to come. The appetizers came out first, and our meals did not come until we finished the appetizers. It was a very pleasant evening. We will definitely come back again.
Always receive wonderful service and food at Me Jana. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality meal with a great atmosphere.
only minus i would say the server seemed eager to have our table when the restaurant was not full otherwise i will be back
Business dinner for 7 arrived early, was seated immediately, service was fantastic, we went with the Lebanese Journey as our meal, so we were ableto taste many of the menu courses with this option. The staff made sure the Gluten Free attendee was aware of what items they could partake as it was being served. Lamb Chops were awesome! Will definitely go again.
llways an excellent dining experience at MeJana. Plenty of vegan options and for all all of our carnivore friends too. Vegetables cooked to healthy perfection and lots of excellent tastes.
Server was great!
Ambiance and service always seem to be 5-star at MeJana. It is also usually a good choice if you like lamb, chops or kabab, but the lamb kebab this time was disappointing and not up to the traditional Middle Eastern lamb quality or preparation.
First visit to Me Jana but definitely not last. From the time we got in, we were greeted with a friendly smile and host who told us our table was almost ready, so we waited at the bar.
Server was attentive and friendly even though she was very busy (Easter Lunch). Food was delicious and very quick!
We will be back for more yummy Lebanese cuisine.
Lovely and lively. The branzino was delicious. Good recommendations from our server.
We went during Arlington Restaurant Week- some of the party ordered from the prixe-fixe menu and others ordered from the regular menu. The server was not able to answer all of our questions about the food and dropped the plates at the wrong places. The food itself was very good.
Food was well priced and tasty
As always at Me Jana for us, excellent food, service, and ambiance.
The restaurant was very crowed on Sat. nite. The grape leaves were very good (appetizer), but the lamb in the lamb kabob I ordered was too tough to chew. We shared a Lebanese dessert that was so-so. It was warm, but difficult to get a forkful of the gooey cheese inside.
The best part of the meal was the pita bread, served hot from the oven and nice and tender. The waitress refilled our basket without our asking.
The best Lebanese food in DC! Delicious. I will dine here again and again!👌
Always a great dining experience! Real and authentic Lebanese food!
Food was delicious and our waiter was so attentive. We always enjoy our meal here!
We enjoyed the Sunday brunch here. The pomegranite martini left a bit to be desired but the food was very good. It was surprisingly easy to get a reservation but will definitely return.
Me Jana has never let us down. The terrific Lebanese food always surpasses expectations -- the chicken schwarma is superb, the tabouli top-notch, the hummus delicious. The bread was just fine (not very special) but the toppings and dips made that unnecessary. Surprisingly, the chocolate fondant cake -- which you wouldn't expect to find at a place like this -- was very good, too.
Our group of 4 had a lovely lunch this week. The food was very good but the service was warm, knowledgeable and friendly - steered us perfectly on the menu choices and repeatedly filled our iced tea. Our first time here but we will return!
The ambiance is great! The food is fabulous!!! From the minute you arrive at the restaurant you are warmly welcomed. My favorite plates are the bronzino, lamb shank and lamb chops delicious!!!
Always a good bet. Wonderful food and terrific service - the staff treat you like family!
Masterful management of a busy Valentine's Day evening. They were booked solid, but food delivery speed and quality didn't appear to suffer an iota. Delicious as usual!!! Offered a special menu for the holiday as well as their full menu. Khalil and Rabih bring the concept of Me Jana to life (welcoming friends and family to share happy times and reminisce about the good old days). Thank you for another lovely evening.
Best Lebanese in DC area. Service is top notch. We bring all out of town guests here.
Me Jana is our favorite restaurant in Arlington. Rabih is a great host, and all of his staff are top notch. We have never had a bad meal there, and everything on the menu is fresh and tastes great. Can't recommend it highly enough.
MeJana continues to be the best all-around Middle-Eastern (Lebanese primarily) restaurant in Northern Virginia. It has pleasant ambiance, indoor and outdoor dining and well-prepared dishes.
Nice bar and good beer selection and good service. Tough to beat!
We love the atmosphere, food and friendliness of MeJana. We regularly go in summer for outdoors dining, but also really enjoy the cozy atmosphere in colder months.
Me Jana is awesome. Food and hospitality are dependably great.
MeJana is about 2 blocks from our home. My wife and I dine there frequently. The food is very good. My wife thinks the wine selection is good. We have been going there since it opened and never had a bad meal or bad service there. We have taken many friends there and they have all enjoyed it. The owners and staff are friendly and its a great find in our neighborhood. You can't miss with MeJana.
Good food and the service was nice. I would recommend this place
Have been here several times and have had great food and service at each visit.
Do not recommend. This was the second weekend in a row that we went to the restaurant. Food is quite good, but the service is below average. We ordered a bottle of wine, a salad, 4 apps, an entre, and two desserts to share. The meal came out so quickly. The salad and all 4 apps were brought together. 5-10 min later the entree was brought out even though we were clearly not ready for more food. Felt rushed, so I will not return. Food is decent and authentic, so if you really want Lebanese in Arlington, just get takeout.
Me Jana never disappoints. The hummus is probably the best I've ever had. I know that sounds like a simple thing but it just goes to show that they even do the basics better.
The ambiance, selection and value of dishes, and service were excellent. This was my second visit at this restaurant and once again it lived up to its reputation. Will definitely visit again.
Absolutely amazing restaurant
Good food and good service! Good value for money. More dessert options would be great to have. Also a better cocktail menu is needed. Will come back again.
Me Jana is one of the best restaurants in Arlington: great food, great service, and great hospitality. If you like traditional Lebanese cuisine, with the occasional American flare, Me Jana is an excellent choice among so many culinary options in North Arlington. You can dine alone at the bar, or in a booth with friend, or take a large group in for a party - the owners and staff are very accommodating, which can be rare today. What I have always enjoyed about Me Jana, is the selection of dishes (and prices), from small plates (Lebanese tapas) to hearty fare (excellent lamb). I recommend highly the Branzino. Many restaurants serve this European Sea Bass, but I haven't tasted it as well-prepared as in Me Jana.
It had been some years since we'd been to Me Jana and decided to go there for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The ambiance is very nice and the food very good. We thought the service was a little slow, especially since when we arrived at 1:35 there were only a few people there. Our server was very pleasant and basically it was a good experience.
