We were recommended by friends to book at Meigas, and we are certainly grateful for the recommendation! We booked for lunch on a Saturday, and were an hour early but were very happy that we were seated with no issues. We do recommend to book Meigas as this restaurant is obviously very busy. The food was absolutely lovely, generous servings and full of flavour. The staff were attentive and informative about each dish. We resisted the temptation to have dessert, but on our next visit we are definitely going to order the paella as it looked really good.

I was surprised to find a well-rated Spanish restaurant in Ballarat, so our family decided to give it a try while we stayed there for the weekend. The food was decent, nothing to write home about. It wasn't unpalatable, but it wasn't stellar either. However, the service was poor. Both waitresses working at that time were unfriendly from the start, barely a smile, seemed rushed, curt, and hurried. It was also really hard to get their attention to order/ask for something. Keep in mind that we came in before the lunch crowd came in so it was still quite empty when our group was seated. The restaurant interior and ambience was really nice though. Very charming and cute. All in all, wouldn't recommend this place unless you're desperately craving for Spanish and you can't go into Melbourne for logistical reasons.

We enjoyed the night. Found the staff to be very friendly and personable. The food was very delicious. Price a little high for the amount (economy) on the plate. Yet dessert was bountiful! We will be going again!
