Mei Mei offers a modern twist on traditional Asian dishes, paying homage to the family traditions of owner, and executive chef, Jay Ho, who was born in Taiwan.
Dishes on the menu include fried rice with Taiwanese sausage, Korean fried chicken wings, scallion pancakes with sweet soy-braised pork belly and miso Caesar salad.
Can’t wait to come back.
Ambiance was amazing a hidden gem in old city!
This place is new and I feel this will be the next hot spot. This was my second time going for food and drinks and just like the first time, everything was amazing. No complaints whatsoever
Birthday Dinner for hubby.
This restaurant's ambience is fantastic especially their low-fi jazzy background music. Our server provided great service but I think they were a little short handed as we had to ask for more water twice. They did a great job with seating every table pretty far apart (Covid-19 guidelines). Food was delicious except for their filet mignon as it was not as tasty (even though it was from the special menu). Everything else on the regular menu was quite tasty and has quite the portion. Overall, it was a good experience!
Mei Mei is exactly what Philly is missing!! This hidden gem checked every box for me & deserves a nod from PhillyMag. The ambience, food, drinks were all a hit!! I’m a tough critic when it’s come to what’s aesthetically pleasing and I was blown away! The perfect place to dine for date night, girls night, a celebrity event & more!
Beautiful interior, superior servicr and delicious food
This is probably one of the most visually appealing restaurants I’ve been to in a while. It was a lovely atmosphere, the decor is unique and perfectly executed. The music is perfect and creates a really nice vibe. I could’ve hung out there all night. My lychee martini was potent and delicious, I’m looking forward to exploring more of the drink menu. All of the food that I tried was delicious and generously portioned- I was looking forward to my leftovers before I even left! I hope to return ASAP to get to know this spot a little bit better!
Beautiful ambiance and wonderful staff. Everyone was very friendly. The food was spot on and every dish was tasty.
This place was absolutely beautiful and the vibe was amazing. The appetizers were ok, but the entrees were great. Definitely go for happy hr mon-thurs from 5-7pm because they have great drink specials, especially the $5 Rum Punch. I highly recommend the Lo mein with shrimp. That entree was amazing and you get enough to share for two people. I highly recommend!
Food & decor is all of that !
The waiter Daniel was excellent. He went above and beyond to provide the best service.
Everything was delicious
Everything was good in the restaurant. The people and the food was perfect
It’s such a beautiful place!!!! Very low key it was hard to find but they have a customer for life!!!!
Such reasonable prices but a trendy, gorgeous atmosphere. Food was delicious!
The ambience, lightning, and decor was great as well the food. The drinks were perfect. Perfect setting for a bday dinner date. Will definitely be back.
Really tasty Asian fusion. Really blown away how empty it was on a Friday night for outdoor dining. Definitely recommend.
The food was amazing. You need to order the spare ribs, sweet, moist, fall off the bone meat. General Tso’s was super good. Beautiful inside! And the drinks are on point. They have a private area in the basement for larger gatherings!
The food is amazing
Wonderful experience: great atmosphere, great food, great service!
I LOVED IT! SO YUMMY. NIC3LE AND PLEASANT.
Dined in with 3 friends. Social distancing and all safety measures were enforced by the restaurant. Ordered and shared several Small Plates. Food was exceptional. Service was outstanding. Prices were very reasonable considering the authenticity and quality. Great spot
I was able to dine outside given what’s going on. The service was very friendly and all of the food was great. The General Tso’s chicken had just the right amount of spice and the noodles with peanut sauce were SO tasty!
(Covid Review) it’s outside on a cooler night. Ambiance was not bad. Food took FOREVER to come out. Order another thing like 10 mins before entree came out. 40’mins later as we were paying the bill the last thing we ordered came out. Would recommend if you have a lot of time for dinner.
