Mehak India's Aroma
I have been to more authentic and better indian restaurants. Loud and fancy place. Food was very spicy, though we were warned about it. Service was excellent.
The food was excellent; best Indian we've had in Denver over many years. However, while we were dining, the proprietors were noisily cleaning the restaurant for the next customers. This was not very wonderful...so we will do Uber Eats next time.
Very good food and excellent service! Would definitely return.
This is the most authentic "London-style" Indian food we've had since moving to Denver 2 years ago. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection and expertly seasoned. The chef's salad was fresh and lite with hearty bites of carrot, cucumber and tomato--light on onions and dressing, which was perfect. The vindaloo
was excellent but SPICY!! Do not go any higher than a heat level 3 (which is Mehak's starting point) unless you like your vindaloo that way. The craft cocktail choices are unusual and delicious. Service couldn't have been more efficient nor hospitable. Mehak is our new go-to Indian restaurant when I'm too tired to cook Indian myself.
Best Indian restaurant in Denver! The food and drinks are all amazing!
Wonderful service. Great food. Loved the atmosphere.
Great find! Very good food, and fantastic service!
Everything was way too spicy...especially the saag paneer. I could hardly eat it
Great Indian food in Cherry Creek. The room is very comforting with a good palette and nice table settings. Staff is very attentive and helpful. The menu is full of the usual Indian retaurant fare, though without giving 100 options over five pages (and, happily for me, almost all of it is Gluten Free). Where the retaurant shines is the food. We had three dishes: chicken wings, tandori shrimp and lamb rogan josh. Each dish had complex and interesting flavors, nice spice levels (the lamb spiciness kicking in after swallowing and building to a nice level), and was a good portion for two people to share and feel satisfied. The cocktails also had interesting flavors. While its a few dollars more per item than Little India or the like -- it is in Cherry Creek so you have to pay for that rent somewhere. With the mellow sitar soundtrack in the background, it was a lovely evening.
Mehak India's Aroma is positively awesome. Food is properly spiced, service is courteous and attentive. Prices are extremely fair. I have already recommended Mehak to others and will continue to do so. And, I look forward to returning there soon as well.
Took my daughter to lunch. The menu was explained to us so we would know how much heat was in the sauces, she had lamb with a medium spicy sauce. I had shrimp with a mid creamy sauce, after a starter of lentil soup which was excellent. We will return.
This is my favorite restaurant in Denver. This family does an excellent job with food and service.
The staff is friendly and the ingredients are top quality and delicious. This is the best Indian food I have found in Denver and the surrounding area
Mehak's decor is very modern--not cold, but very bright & beautiful. The color combination is original & very pleasing, even the dishes & flatware are most distinctive. We had onion rings, chicken tikka masala, and vegetable korma--all very, very good. Unfortunately, their saag is not to our taste, and saag is kind of a "test" dish for Indian restaurants, I think. We go there because everything else is to our taste. Prices are a little high, but it is after all, "fine dining". Noise level was moderate, which is becoming a rarity at most restaurants. Recommended.
A hidden gem. We had a lovely lunch and will definitely return. The tableware is so colorful and beautiful. The food is both delicious and generous.
Family owned. Always welcoming. Great service. Even better food. We always order extra to take home.
Food was great as always. Service was slow and disjointed. May have been our wait person’s first night on the job
Great food, cocktails, and service! We will be back for sure. I recommend the steamed vegetable dumplings! Yum.
Doesn't get any better than this for Indian in Denver. Top notch and subtly seasoned food that matches up with some of the best Indian I've ever had anywhere in the world. Family owned business with wonderful, attentive service in a beautifully designed dining room with a great location in Cherry Creek. If you're craving Indian, don't miss out on this absolute gem.
Best Indian food on all the continents we’ve ever visited. We frequent often for dinner. All their food is amazing; the chicken tikka Masala especially
Mehaks is a little jewel in Cherry Creek North. The Indian food here is very well done with a great flavor profile. Try the cauliflower appetizer! My favorite entree is the lamb chops tandoori but I’ve never had a less than great meal.
Delicious lunch meal with excellent service and at a very fair price.
The wait staff was really working. There needed to be more waiters and support staff. We were hoping for a more fine dining experience. The venue was very nice, but there was a lot of hussle with getting the food out. We were disappointed. There is huge potential.
Food is great, although service really leaves a lot to be desired. Our server really seemed like they did not want to be there, and overall demeanor was borderline depressing to say the least. Never checked on us or even asked how the food was. I would definitely return for the food via take out, but I can not--with full confidence--even consider a tip above 10% for such disappointing dining experience.
Visiting our son in cherry creek and celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary. The service was outstanding and the food flavorful & delicious. We’ll be back our next visit to Denver.
Food is good but portions are small and price point is high for what it is.
Good food, pricing, and flavor. Mediocre service
Love Mehak. Food is fantastic and service is great.
Enjoyed lunch - food was good, veggies fresh, salmon moist and flavorful, rice nicely cooked. Main reason for <5 food score was the veggies in particular had way too much salt. Indian food features so many wonderful spices, the over salting detracted from enjoying the other spices and the dish in general.
The staff was VERY pleasant and attentive, the room bright and comfortable and even with some large groups the volume was lovely very comfortable.
Always a pleasure!
I took my mother here because I knew their food was flavorful even though we ordered it mild-my mom doesn't handle spicy food well anymore. The service was prompt and friendly. The quieter atmosphere was appreciated as well, so we could talk without a lot of background noise.
Fantastic food, great and friendly authentic owner
I love Indian food and this place is delicious! It’s a beautiful restaurant as well. I can’t wait to go back.
Service was delightful. Food decent and the level of spiciness was impressive.
We loved the food and the service and ambiance. Will now become one of our top 3 restaurants in Denver! Highly recommend it.
Delicious! We will be back. Mushrooms stuffed with ground lamb! Indian cocktails---worth the try to have spices in your cocktail. Naan was great, $ for 4 small pieces....little pricey, considering none is provided with meal. Should be priced $2.50....most restaurant give you naan or bread. It was cold inside, and I get that it is winter, but had to weat coat on shoulders. Food is spicy---loved it. Tiki Masala and the Lamb Rondlan. Casual atmosphere. Family restaurant.
The food was excellent. Promptly seated with by making a reservation.
Excellent food from a chef who’s previous restaurant was in London. Very tasty but beware - “hot” is quite “hot”
My fiancé and I love this restaurant! It is our favorite place in Denver to go when we are in the mood for Indian food. Know that their spice range is a little on the hotter side than some other places. I normally like a 3 on a 1-5 scale but here I have to go with a 2.
The dishes are reasonably priced for the portion sizes. Although the tables are pretty close together, you still feel like you have your own space.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for goo Indian food!
The most amazing Indian food. Great service, the most friendly staff, and amazing flavors!!
