   We loved this place. We went on a slow night, Monday. The food was fabulous, great choices on the menu. Staff was very nice. We will definitely go back.

   Due to Covid and dog issues it’s been 7 years since we last had the pleasure of dining at Steak 954 and boy are we glad to be back. Our meal was fantastic. Everything was just perfect. So happy to see that they survived the pandemic. We will be back!!

   Reservations was for a birthday dinner. We arrived late due to minor traffic but the staff were accommodating and attentive. Food and drinks were great. The staff sang Happy Birthday which was really nice. Definitely returning for an earlier reservation haha overall 10/10 thank you !

    We were greated with smiles and made to feel very welcome. My family of 5 all had different items from the MEATY menu. We were all very happy with our choices. I ordered the ribeye on the bone and it was amazing.. needless to say all plates were pretty empty at the end of our meals.

    Our waiter was great, very attentive. Overall I was expecting more of the food but was disappointed. I don’t think we’ll be giving it another try. Everything lacked taste. We ordered the bacon which was dry, and so overcooked it was hard to cut and even chew it lacked any kind of flavor. The crab cakes, and wedge salad were delicious. Although it’s not served as a wedge just drenched sloppily in a dish with a ton of bleu cheese. I ordered the steak medallions, they were smothered in sauce and lacked flavor. It was a very chewy to eat, I had one and left the rest. My husband ordered the sirloin and it was fine. Nothing to rave about. We skipped dessert.

    This restaurant was chosen for our family Thanksgiving celebration this year, and we were so happy with our choice. The food is fantastic and the wait staff was the absolute best; very attentive, very accommodating. Cannot wait to go back! Thanks Meet the Meat.

    The food was fantastic, although the appetizers were hit or miss. The grilled calamari was great. The mussels were good too. Unfortunately, the oysters had very sharp shell shards hiding in them that are easy to miss until you accidentally slurp one up and chew it or cut up your mouth. Thank god nobody swallowed one. Beware. The drinks were good too, and the steak was outstanding. We got the porterhouse for 2 and the filet mignon was perfection. The service was okay. Restaurant was fairly empty when we were seated and then ramped up as the dinner rush started coming in so I can understand if the servers got busier and less attentive. They were quite slow to bring bread to the table, slow to bring the dessert menu, and they didn’t honor our request to sing happy birthday to our friend when his dessert came — which is no issue on its own, but we asked if they can do it and they said yes! Then they just didn’t. All in all a great meal, great atmosphere, and o.k. service. Hopefully there is more bread the next time we dine here.

    We had filet mignon and strip steak and they were all delicious. We ate from the restaurant week menue and the service was impecable and we enjoyed our meal.

    Great ambience with terrific food and drink which is a little on the pricey side, but the overall experience makes it worth it. We were waited on by Andrea who was in training, but who was already like a real pro. She will be our go to wait perso when we return.

    Meet the Meat did not disappoint. The oysters were fresh and tasted great. We had the porterhouse which was cooked perfectly and I couldn't stop dipping it in the butter it came in!

    Always loved this spot until the owner was very rude to some friends that joined us for drink on our reservation. His reply when brought to his attention was very unprofessional and borderline belligerent. For the service and customer experience I would no longer recommend as the ownership doesn’t understand properly comprehend nor understand customer experience etiquette. There are far too many great establishments within NYC where ownership appreciates their clients, I would suggest trying elsewhere.

    Definitely my new favorite steakhouse in NYC. I don't know how I hadn't found it before, but I'm glad I did. Food is amazing and consistent - I've visited twice thus far but I know I'll return.

    Male waiter was very rude and not respectful of customers’ wishes. In fairness, the ribeye was not bad, but the Mac and cheese was not good as expected; truffle oil Mac and cheese quite pretentious. Not very bad if not for the awful waitstaff. But considering there are so many restaurant options, why should you return where you’re not treated properly?

    Once a year me and my two best friends who are like brothers go out and find a restaurant to hang out at and exchange Christmas gifts. This restaurant was outstanding with the way we were greeted and catered to the entire night. They gave us great recommendations and super attentive to our table. Would definitely go here again especially because the food was superb!

    I am a native Astorian and just only now discovered this steakhouse gem. What an excellent experience with delicious food. My husband and I ordered the crab cakes, Caesar salad bone in top sirloin. Side of mashed and sautéed spinach with garlic and olive oil. The spinach was off the chart delish. Everything was Perfect temperature. And the homemade tiramisu is a must have. A perfect family owned steakhouse you must try!!

    We've been coming to MtM for years. They treat us like family. They even remember what our drinks of choice are, and have them waiting for us when we get there. The steaks are always impeccable, and their smoked salmon appetizer is a favorite. Thank you, Adnan and staff, for always providing a perfect dining experience.
