Mussels were good. Duck pretty good. Grilled appetizer artichoke was poor. Service was bad from more than one person, but the waiter at least apologized. We were seated next to the unused outdoor area of the next restaurant with stacked chairs behind us. Not a terrible experience, but I wouldn't go back.
There was a football game at the outdoor restaurant next door so it was very noisy. Not the fault of Meet in Paris, but ruined our peaceful breakfast. Food was good.
Always enjoyed dinner here. Brunch was nit as good. Wait staff was inefficient, not bringing all orders at the same time. Drinks took a long time to arrive.
Just too many flies I guess since it’s outdoors. Food was very tasty but hard to enjoy unfortunately.
Great food and great ambiance. Will definitely be coming back.
Totally mishandled wine order and appetizers and main courses each came very apart in time. Could never find server.
great ambiance but a bummer with the food. Friend asked for her steak to be medium rare, it came medium well. Goat cheese and pesto flatbread was SOAKED in balsamic vinaigrette. I asked if it was possible to add chicken to it. Server said he didn’t think so, but he would see. It came with the chicken, which was great at first. We got the bill and it was 10 dollars extra to add MAYBE 1/4 of cup of diced chicken to a small flatbread. Very disappointing that server didn’t ask if extra cost was ok, and to be that expensive for the addition of such a small amount of chicken is pretty ridiculous
By coincidence after just one week, I returned to Meet in Paris with my sister. Once again spacious outdoor seating, excellent wait-staff, perfect weather, lovely ambience.
I ordered the same as last week, steak tartare and I would love to imagine that it was because of my comments on the review last week, it made a difference! Indeed the plate size changed to a perfect size, and the side salad was delightfully more abundant. Awesome!
Honestly, I am really bummed! I've been here a few times and its always just. fine.
I went last night for date night with my boyfriend and we were both pretty disappointed. We ordered the baguette, 2x french onion soups, cheese plate, lobster ravioli, petite steak, 3 beers. Easy!
The soups were warm, but not hot and the cheese was mildly warm and not melted at all which made it pretty sad to eat. The flavor was still great, but the consistency kinda grossed me out after a bit. Half melted cheese just isnt it! I let the waitress know about the soup before I ordered the petit steak to be sure the steak came out hot!
The cheese plate looked cute, but again, disappointing. The cheese had clearly been frozen prior and had a freezer burn flavor. We didn't even finish it.
Lobster ravioli and steak were also fine! Nothing I'd recommend, but we ate it.
The beers were great! Cant go wrong there.
I wish they had a bordeaux on their menu. They really didn't live up to their name this time. Of course I will return, but wont be for a while.
If you bring wine but the Manager and the waiter each have a glass of it; shouldn’t the corkage be waived! 🙄🙄🙄
The mussels were better 4 months ago; now the sauce is watered down, not as good.
Came for lunch with friends. I got the salmon salad - literally the best tasting dressing I've had and they put the perfect amount and the salmon filled was perfect cooked as well (although just a bit too salty). The Berry cobbler was the perfect balance of fruit and crust. Will be back!
Very little choice, mediocre food, would not go back
Waiter was cordial but had no personality. He didn’t know what time it was, but we knew it was still happy hour. The mussels come in a huge portion - the broth is chorizo infused but no actual chunks of chorizo. Had to order bread to sop up the sauce separately (sauce was delicious though!).
This is a really nice French Bistro type Restaurant. It is serving outside and unfortunately the Street in front of the Restaurant is a work in progress. When that is completed it will be an outstanding place to meet friends. Now it's a bit noisy.
The food was good, bread was burnt on top, but still edible.
Service was excellent. Never felt rushed. Food was great!!
Wonderful service, lovely French speaking server; sat outside under canopy, coffee delicious; everything was delightful.
French restaurant with chefs from Mexico. The menu includes a French baguette and serves American white bread slightly warmed up. The famous bouillabaisse, with a chemical taste that had to be brought back. Only the moosselins were good. I do not recommend it to people who understand French cuisine.
I was very disappointed my lunch experience on Sep 6. The waiter was great but the food quality did not meet my expectation. The crepe was cold and not worth for that price.
The best place West of the Mississippi! They do a great job here on everything, BUT, it has to be said, the portions of their Beef Bourguignon could be a little bigger. It is very, very tasty, but looked like an appetizer portion. Apart from that though, they’re the greatest.
Love the food and the service is wonderful. Great for brunch.
The food was pretty good.. I wouldn’t call some of the things on the menu genuine French cuisine. The ratatouille would not be acceptable in France or the “baguette” which was just a cheap French loaf for LA it wasn’t bad. We didn’t get a glass of water or drink order for the first 10
Minutes we were there which didn’t give off a great impression. Our server, who never actually introduced themselves was very hard to get ahold of and the food runner didn’t know what the food items even were… our dining experience was okay at best. I would love to come again to continue trying the items, but hopefully with better service
Food was good. Service was a little slow because it got busy. I understand that. However towards the end our waiter never came back to check up on us and we had to flag a few people down to ask for the check. I enjoyed my food and the ambiance. I love the escargot and the mix charcuterie board. I always go back no matter what.
I love this place. The setting is perfect! Food is AWESOME!! a Great place to enjoy company and unwind.
I really want to like this place but I always feel a little let down. The appetizers are fine but not spectacular. The flatbreads and mussels are fine. The cocktails are made with low-alcohol liquor rather than real liquor so I felt like that was a waste of money. Our service was not great -- we had to flag down the waiter every time we wanted anything. He didn't seem concerned with whether we were having a good time. The ambiance is beautiful though and I love this area. I will probably come back in the future for a snack but not a meal.
The hostess did not want to sit is away from the very loud band even thought there were plenty of free tables. I had to book a reservation online to be able to pressure her into sitting us.
Sad to report that Meet doesn’t WOW as it used to. Service was spotty and food was unremarkable.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Delicious wine and great live jazz on Thursday!
Fantastic steak, and the Brussel sprouts were delish!
Never had a bad dinner at this restaurant.
We had q crying baby right net to us so not thee fault of the restaurant , but it did spoil our get together. The music as very nice but wlll probably sit further away i the future. Still s nice place to go.
Beautiful evening with some live music and French food. I would recommend.
Meet in Paris pleasant outside patio.
Food good but kitchen doesn t always pay attention to order
and after a wrong dish brought out and another dish very undercooked
we had to send back .When dishes appeared again all well.
I think with shortage of staff in this industry some wait staff and kitchen staff seem to be inexperienced.
I would recommend for nice casual lunch or dinner.
Great place for an evening out. Food, and service was wonderful and the outside patio is lovely. The owner takes good care of his patrons and is very friendly
Wonderful, fresh food. Amazing taste. Great service. Wonderful wine. Definitely recommend
Came here because i missed my families cooking and this truly hit the spot! got their Roquefort Mussels and they were so amazing! We also got the cheese and charcuterie wished there was more slices of meet but it all tasted amazing!
Seating arrangement is fun! It feels like you’re in Paris with tables in the side walk and part of the street.
Food was good. Service could have been better but due to COVID there is a shortage of experienced labor and this restaurant must have the issue as many other LA area restaurants.
Good food - wasn’t serving full bar however
We went there for a special lunch and had the loveliest salads followed by the berry cobbler. There's lots of outside seating and very attentive service.
The ambience was lovely and we really enjoyed eating outside. My mom and I started with an Aperol Spritz, which is always a good choice on a warm afternoon. My niece got an almond milk latte, which was yummy! The food was good quality and really tasty! I had scrambled eggs, which were flavorful and the perfect consistency - not too dry - and the server swapped out the potatoes for greens for me. My mom had the salmon benedict and my niece had the lobster benedict. They loved their meals.
Great food. Great service. Will definitely come back.
