   Seriously the best restaurant in LA! I live internationally now but came for a visit and enjoyed lunch with family and friends. The mussels (mariniere and bisque) are both delicious broths. The beet and pistachio salad is also a great choice for a vegetarian option. The restaurant will be celebrating its 15th anniversary soon - every time we dine here we leave happy.

   Another wonderful Happy Hour with friends! Love the outdoor patio. The crabcakes were delicious and the mussels never disappoint. The charcuterie board has a nice selection of cured meats (keep in mind, no cheese on the board). This is the best place in Culver City!

   the ambience is lovely we went for Sunday brunch. Ordered salmon benedict. It was served with soft tasteless potato cubes and a wonderful fresh fruit salad. The fruit salad was the best part of the meal. The eggs were bland and the english muffin was not toasted so therefore soggy. The waitress never came back to check on us but the assistant wait staff were spectacular. They were attentive and when I asked for hot sauce bought it right away unlike the waitress The espresso was good as was the iced latte. She never offered desert or askeed if there was anything we would like the baguette and butter looked wonderful and I would probably order that if I went back.

   I booked following an email about Dine LA - 3 courses for $45. Turns out dine LA finished the night before but that was not clear when I made the booking. Disappointing…

   We love Meet in Paris and have been here many times over the past six years. They always have a wonderful dineLA menu, as well as all their standard menu items. When any of our foodie and wine lover friends are visiting from out of town, this is one of our first stops. TIP: Parking is tough in this area. Limited on street available in the nearby neighborhoods. No parking directly on Culver Blvd. If you’re close enough, I would suggest using Lyft or Uber. SERVICE: The service is always fantastic! Cassie assisted us Friday night and she, as well as the other wait staff, were friendly, efficient, and really take care of their customers, making the most out of our experience. Molly, and the other young lady at the hostess stand, are wonderful as they greet you and seat you when you arrive, but they also hustle and assist the wait staff with whatever is necessary. A real “team” service experience. DRINKS: They have now been licensed for a full bar, so all of the usual cocktails are available (Paris “Old” Fashioned, Manhattan, Negroni, etc.). There’s a decent selection of wines by the bottle, as well as by the glass, and the prices are reasonable. Corkage fee is $30/bottle. FOOD: The menu is mostly tapas and small bite plates with a few entrees. The dineLA menu ($45/person) s always a deal. On this visit, we started with a couple orders of the Crab Cakes, and the Escargot (which were served out of their shells in a garlic butter sauce). We also ordered a half baguette and butter ($5) to soak up the garlic butter and parsley sauce that accompanies the Escargot. For our entrées, we had the 8 oz. Prime Hanger Steak and the Coq Au Vin. Everything is well seasoned, and very flavorful. We finished off the evening with the Profiteroles and the Crème Brûlée. We really enjoy coming here and if it wasn’t so far from home, I’m sure we’d be regulars. If you love French cuisine like we do, I highly recommend you give Meet in Paris a try!

   Dining on a Thursday evening, the penultimate night for Dine LA, the MEET in Paris patio was jam packed. Thursday nights are jazz night and the ambience was perfect. The seating arrangements, however, could have been better. As a party of two, we were placed in the farthest nook from the restaurant, wedged between MEET in Paris and the restaurant next door, alongside the street. As such, I could barely navigate myself to the table, requiring other patrons to move their seats. This also meant that our servers’ visits to check in on us were few and far between. And no heat lamp could make its warmth our way. Fortunately, the quality of the food was exceptional (we ordered the steak frites and lobster mussels). Was not my first visit to MEET in Paris, nor will it be my last, but I would suggest reconfiguring their seating plan to allow for more space (there’s no way our seats would have been accessible to anyone who needed special accommodations).

   It's a no for me!!! Did not taste authentically French and my tarte tartin tasted burnt, dry and not fresh. The crust reminded me of biscuit dough. As for the rest of it - the crab cakes were more like crab paste cakes and I didn't care for the texture. The drinks were lacking also. Nothing special here. If you want authentic special French cuisine try Perle in Pasadena.

    Dine in LA Lunch was terrible. I had the chicken cutlet which was dry and tasteless. Drinks and dessert was good. Dine in LA wasn’t a good value. Only two options for $25. Service was less than desirable. Only two servers handling the whole restaurant. Gabriel functioning as server and host was very curt. My server Enrique was average in customer service. It was obvious that he was stressed. One customer standing with me waiting to be seated, gave up and walked away.
