Parsley and garlic snail butter, white wine, toasted baguette, cream, chives
Lobster broth, white wine, brandy, tomato confit, cream
2 Jumbo Scallops
Tarragon barnaise and micro greens
Had to wait 30 mins even with a reservation.
The food was mediocre and the wine was way over priced. Our waitress was great though.
I love it here! The staff and owner are wonderful! The mussels - heaven!
The food was uneven and poorly times, though the restaurant wasn't too crowded, yet. Mine came out with cold eggs and a warm salad, suggesting it had sat in the pass for too long, waiting for the rest of the food for my party. They quickly remade it, but the salad was still warm. The food tasted fine -- the tarragon hollandaise was particularly good -- but wasn't special.
We went for my husband’s birthday dinner with our kids (we had been before a few times) and it was a fabulous meal and the staff went out of their way for us to make it a special dinner. Their new fracos (French-tacos) are soooo delicious. We love this place!
Duck confit was really dry and flavorless.
Delicious reasonably priced food. Friendly service. We were there super early for dinner, food appeared quickly.
It is BACK! We used to love that place but we were disappointed the past few years by the poor quality of the food and the high prices, so we reluctantly stayed away. We went back 2 days ago and everything was perfect: the menu has been simplified, the food is fresh, the presentation is appealing and the food is very tasty. Plus the prices are more affordable. All in all, we were enchanted and we spent a delightful evening. The owner is from Paris and he has a long experience in the restaurant business. Do like us and come Meet in Paris: you will be happy you did.
Nicole. Say no more. She’s the very best
Another great lunch. Love the ambiance, the food. Great services.
We went to happy hour and it was fabulous. It was a quiet afternoon and we sat outside. The mussels were amazing. The wine was half price and we shared a delicious dessert. Great portions and lots of bread for dipping. We will be back again soon.
There was no freshness to the taste of the food. The crab cakes were deep fried and it was hard to taste the crab because of all the filler. The wine was ridiculously overpriced. A $22 retail bottle of wine was $70.
The lovely pate was drowning in cheap truffle oil. The mussels tasted like they were reheated. The tartare was good. The Brussels sprouts were good. The tomato tart in over sauced and greasy. The chairs felt wobbly, unstable and uncomfortable on the tiled floor. There was a group next to us with a baby that cried our entire dinner. The service was very good. The place felt very dated and in need of a refresh all around.
Won’t be going back.
The food is good. However what I don’t like is the way they advertise their specials. It is like the fine print for insurance companies. They are not clear when which special is valid. On top of that the owner is snooty. They have to change that and if they follow the rules they should do that across the board! Do not deny refills on Kit Royal and still charge for that special “Bottomless”. While the customer is thinking he ordered wine with half off to basically say that you have to read. I had high hopes....
We arrived early for our reservation. We were given an inside table. We asked for one outdoors. We were told that there was a long wait for an outdoor table. The fact that we had a reservation made no difference. My wife noted that there were several open tables on the edge of the sidewalk. Our server said that they weren’t being used due to threat of rain. I checked my weather report: there was a “30% chance” of rain at 1:30 AM— it was only 7:30!
We hadn’t been to Meet in Paris for a while, and I noted that the menu had changed. There is no longer a regular French menu. It now features what they call “Frapos,” French tacos! I was looking forward to Coq au van, but it was no longer on the menu. I settled for a duck confit “Frapo, which was good, but less satisfying than “ordinary” duck confit. My wife enjoyed her steak frites and our friend liked her beef burginion. We shared crime brûlée for desert.
The food was good, but better in the past. I also remember having outstanding servers, also on the past.
It was a very enjoyable meal. I will go back another time.
Was not satisfied with the table they gave us! It was my dads 85th bday and thought I’d be given a nicee table! They put two tiny tables together which I thought was wrong. I asked to get a better table and was not granted. A couple guys that had a bigger table, didnask to have a better table and it was fiven to them.
I found that very unfair.
Food was great! Sever was ok!
Skip the ratatouille and truffle fries. Meh. Grilled artichoke was nice, as was the French onion soup. Overall, it was just okay on all fronts.
A wonderful, small bistro that has great food and a wonderful feel to it. With the pleasant staff talking with a charming french accent, you truly think that you are in Paris. There is a good range of choices and all the food was very good. The prices are reasonable, but be careful of the menu. Some of the "special discount" prices are a little hard to understand with the "icon" that is used. But the evening we had was most enjoyable and we will certainly be back.
There have been several unhelpful additions to the menu since we were here last. French tacos? C'mon - Thats not what a Parisian restaurant is about, even in LA.
At this point I would advise them to go back to doing what they do best - French onion soup, mussels, classy salads, omelets and crepes
Just wonderful ! My favorite french restaurant in town. Authentic French cuisine . My family is in love.
Sébastien the owner is amazing ! great management and delicious food. Merci !
Really good food! Service was helpful and attentive. We will go back--soon!
We took out-of-town guest there for a treat, and it was indeed a wonderful night. The food, wine, service and atmosphere were perfect for the occasion.
Meet in Paris is a nice to place to sit, enjoy a casual lunch, and watch the world go by on Culver Boulevard. The service was friendly and efficient. The lunch entrees were nicely presented and tasty. I would go back for another business lunch.
First time back since they changed the menu which included smaller portions and perhaps slightly higher prices. The food is still good, but I'm not sure that I like the changes. We'll go back again and make a further judgment.
We have been eating at Meet since it opened 11 years ago, and gave never been disappointed.
Honestly...the bread might be the best part, and I say that as a compliment it's French bread. Service is great, you feel like you're at a cafe in Paris, but the food overall is good not great. Thats all.
It was Valentines Day, so I’ll make allowances for the slow service and the ok food. This was my second visit, so there must have been something redeeming about the place. I just didn’t see it on my second visit. I’m willing to try it a 3rd time only because casual French restaurants are not plentiful on the Westside.
I felt like I was back in Paris - food was spectacular, service was friendly and excellent!
Lunch on Valentines Day. Sat outside on their lovely patio. Had excellent food and were delighted with the service.
Because of the HEINOUS traffic in the area, one of us was 30 minutes late; the other, 50. The staff was gracious and understanding about this, making us feel very welcome and putting us at ease. The house Bordeaux and truffle fries were excellent, as were the brussels sprouts. Crab cakes were good; the exterior was crunchy and golden, but the interior was a bit too soft and could've used more crab. Scallops had good flavor, but more sear would've been nice and wouldn't have compromised their tenderness. We didn't have dessert, but the couple next to us shared an amazing-looking ice cream confection that they finished despite their initial protests that it was way too much, so I assume it was as delicious as it looked!
It was a very inviting, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The warm, attentive and well-coming service was refreshing...although a bit tight, it was, nonetheless, still cozy and definitely a very memorable experience.
I’ve already put it in my favorites, and I can’t wait to come back.
They’ve cut back on their menu selections so one of us couldn’t find much that she wanted and what she ordered wasn’t great. The ambience and the wait staff are both excellent I’d say if you know what you’re going in for it’s a great place.
This restaurant consistently serves excellent food in a lovely outdoor patio. Conversation can be heard without shouting and the variety of options means that everyone is happy!
