I called for a reservation of a table for 3. When I arrived, they told me they only had me down for 2 and questioned me as to who I talked to who scheduled that reservation. They insisted they could not give a table for 3 and gave a table for 2 with an extra chair in the back by the road. The cars came very close and we asked to move. The staff made a fuss about it and for a Mother’s Day brunch, on a day where there were also plenty of tables open, I was appalled by the lack of accommodations and accusations to me as a customer. Food was dry as well and felt this place was way overhyped.
Took us 30 minutes to get check. Food is ok. Noise level inside unbearable. We couldn’t hear each other.
Just starting to dip my toe into outdoor dining, and the patio at Meet in Paris was a lovely reentry. There was a wonderful four-piece jazz band entertaining us, which while a bit too loud, added some great ambiance. The menu has been reframed a bit, and mussels are now included in the French Tapas menu, which means they no longer come with fries or salad, and there are fewer sauce options, but they were still delicious. I’ll be back again on a Tuesday or Wednesday for AYCE mussels!
The food is not only varied, something for everyone's palette, but super delicious!
I cannot wait to return!
Unfortunately they took over one hour and a half to serve our meals - food was great but we end up eating mussels at 10:00 pm - probably not the best experience, we were told they had some troubles this specific day with the kitchen, I would be open to give them a second chance.
WAIT TIME IS 2 hours! We have arrived at 7 and food was served at 9!!! The place is understaffed, even though the stuff is super nice. The food is mostly great. We didn’t like grilled artichokes, they were inedible and salmon was tasting like it’s spoiled.
STEAK FRITE NO LONGER ON MENU and ordered 8oz pepper steak filet instead and it was not cooked evenly throughout and frankly was weird looking.
Great for Happy Hour and Dinner. Love those mussels.
It was great food
The server was great. No complaints at all about the service, but the wine list needs help. I really like this place, but was not impressed with the wine selection if that's anything you care about.
Service very slow. Entrees served before soup. Had to send it back. Soup cold had to be sent back. Bill not correct.
This was our first time here. We liked arriving early and having the high top table seating. The ambiance is inviting and comfortable and the staff was attentive. We'll return to try more items on the menu!
Had a wonderful afternoon at Meet in Paris. And French Tapas was great, five of us sharing all different kinds of choices. Sat outside which was wonderful, a bit noisy when fire engines went by but that's outside dining for you. Next time I'm getting mussels.
Staff was very friendly and attentive but not hovering. Portions were generous and the food was delicious. Nice outside dining areas.
Ordered a beer with my food. Food came no beer. I don't eat without my beer or cocktail. Persisting in my quest for beer, the waiter eventually tells me they are out of my pils, and don't have a replacement.
Crowded sun day brunch hour and staff couldn't keep pace. Service was slow and food subpar with mussels in a watered down Provençale sauce, not tasting freshand far away from true french cuisine. Steak frites was overcooked and fries were bland. Drink reorder never showed up. We were charged for 2 order of fries at $14 we never had ordred. We walked away thoroughly disappointed and will not be back.
Great food and service. Brunch was delicious! Very pet friendly! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Made a reservation and had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Waitresses/ waiters were nice. Dishes were not sanitary. Food was great. Mixed reviews.
We had a table in the outdoor patio, near the street. Every time a car drove by, it was very loud! The waiters seemed to be very busy, and took a while to take our order. My lobster crepe was pretty good, but not mindblowing. The truffle fries and baguette were the real stars of the show.
Bad service, waitress barely attended to us twice in 3 hours.
Meet in Paris is so overly proud of their vino that we found a bit offensive. Their food ranges for Very Good to OK. The Crab Stack appetizer is very good, as are the Duck Tacos, Duck Confit and Mussel Dishes. The Chicken Dijon was pretty good, but not terrific. The pate and escargot were both underwhelming.
The atmosphere and pleasantness of the staff are definite pluses, though the service can be slow and we understand that during these challenging times for restaurants. Given their overly optimistic view of the worth of their grape juice, I would have a hard time recommending it if you plan to drink wine. 6X of retail is pretty excessive.
Extended outdoor dining area was appreciated but very close to moving traffic. Would have appreciated closer heater. Tapas style menu, with large wine selection. Loved the Thai curry mussels with truffled fries, but everything was great!
Great cute restaurant with French cuisine! We loved the ambiance we loved the servers! We got a yummy profiterole for my friend’s birthday as a treat! The food was super delicious and definitely not overpriced like so many other restaurants around! Strongly recommend it and we’ll go back to this cute French restaurant!
Our Bi Monthly outing. Always a pleasure, A little piece of Paris
The meal was great! The outdoor tent setup was ok, but not great - there were no heaters.
The mussels are so good!!! Love Thursday night free corkage night
We had a great time there! I loved the petite steak au poivre. It really reminded me of Paris lol
Service was terrible but food was good.
Ambiance amazing, food and service mediocre. Preferred the pre-pandemic menu. I ordered mussels and maybe there were 10 in the tin bucket. Before it was much more generous. They renamed the menu French Tapas, so the portions are smaller and the price is the same, not a good value anymore.
So happy to go back to one of our favorite places. It was palpable how happy everyone was to be there-including the staff.
We enjoyed the food, the fun and the fellowship. The service was not quite up to par. But having dined there in the past, we will look forward to our return visit.
I ordered the ciopino and the fish inside was salmon. The shrimp inside was the size of miniature shrimp and the scallops the same. The muscles were not fresh. This is supposed to be a French restaurant yet they serve tacos. The fresh baked bread was foamy and made of cheap ingredients. The 8oz filet was not fresh. The French fries were good. The French onion soup was overcooked. For the price of the dinner I would not recommend this restaurant.
Very good and high quality selection of foods!
Food was great as always. So fun to have so many Mussels options. French Onion soup is always like being in Paris. Service was a bit slow and inattentive but it’s also like being in Paris. The women at the hostess stand went out of their way to help us get drinks and the attention of our server
The mussels provencale had broth with no flavor. Caesar salad was good. Beef bourginon was average.
Overall very average. Had their special oysters a few months back and they were delicious. Friday was disappointing.
The descriptions of the dishes are better than the dishes themselves.
The execution is top-notch but nothing wows. The steak is underflavored, shockingly enough, and the ubiquitous "salad" is like eating fancy grass. This basic critique applies to most every dish.
As far as I can tell, it's a "good" restaurant for the unrefined. If you've got a few extra dollars in your pocket but no sense of taste then this is the restaurant for you.
Great food, great service. Love this place. I hope we can dine outside for ever!
One of our first outings after getting our second vaccine shot. We met out-of-town visitors, at outdoors and stayed there undisturbed for many hours. The only negative was that they had run out of eggs by 1:30 pm, but I am sure that they never expected that many customers. It was a beautiful Sunday. We will go back again, as this was our 4th visit in so many years.
What you'll experience at MIP depends on the day and hour. What Culver City has done to its downtown area shouldn't have happened; it's chaotic!
Came for brunch on Sunday - really great food and service. Was a great buzz inside but was pretty busy in there and full. They also had the heating on which made it too warm at the back inside - especially during covid, not too smart!
We have eaten outside on the patio and that was much better especially now their staffing levels are better to cope with all the extra tables
