This was my birthday dinner, and our reservations were for 7:15. The hostess did not seat us until 8:15, we asked repeatedly why there was a wait when they had open tables and we were told the waiters were too busy to sit anyone. As someone who have been to MEET before, I was excited for the mussels - unfortunately, they were over salted and half the mussels hadn't even opened yet and tasted off. I'll give the waitress credit, as she apologized for the wait - but then the food runner dropped some of the escargot on my girlfriend. I'm willingly to give the benefit of the doubt on most occasions, but the wait combined with the lack luster food was terribly disappointing. It seems like covid has greatly effected their kitchen and ability to make quality dishes. LA is filled with excellent French restaurants, and sadly this is no longer one of those.

Although it sounded like a good place to eat after reading reviews and going
on their website, it was not. This lunch turned out to be one of the worst
experiences in my dining visits.

We sat outdoors. Our servers were very slow to arrive. We finally placed our
orders--there were two of us. We waited and waited for over 35 minutes for our
food to arrive with no one concerned about it.

When my dish arrived to our table, it was not how I ordered it. I returned it.
The server said he gave the second order to another table by mistake
and said another one will be made promptly. So we waited patiently.
Finally, the second order arrived.

After all the chaos and after not eating or liking any of the food,
the manager came over and chided us for being rude to the servers.
We were not rude to anyone and for the manger to suggest it was
extremely uncalled for.

We have been dining in restaurants in Los Angeles for over 40 years and
have never been rude to any server. In fact, we make sure that we are
friendly and kind to servers whoever they are.
It was very disturbing to be told that.

We will not be returning to this establishment again.

Cute, France-inspired restaurant right in the heart of downtown Culver City. Yummy French tapas and drinks. Get the mussels! Monday is happy hour ALL NIGHT, and every other day of the week has different food / drinks specials. There's also live music most nights!

The food was very good for the most part, but, as a regular home cook who has a PASSION for cooking AND shopping for food, I can honestly say that some of the prices were shameful. I mean, $23 for a cheese platter that had 6 slices of cheese (2 slices of 3 different varieties), some sliced salami (2 different varieties) 6 or so pieces of small rounds of toast, some olives and a little salad garnish in the middle, is just embarrassing. I kept thinking, "If this were trader Joe's, I could have bought 4 of the finest large wedges of great cheese, a few whole salamis, and several boxes of a variety of crackers!" The ratatouille ($10) was nothing more than 2 types of zucchinis (looked like one green and one yellow) cut in chunks and cook AL DENTE, so they were a little hard, and served on a very good marina of sorts. But that's NOT ratatouille -- the vegetables (including garlic and onion) should be stewed. The Croque Madame was excellent and lots of ham. But for 3 people, and only 1 person had a Sangria, the bill was over $200 for brunch. I'm only taking the time to write this because although much of the food was really good, and only a few strikes, the prices were a joke.

Service was terrible here. I was seated for at least 10 minutes before the host came over and told me my server would be there soon - and offered me water. When he finally showed up, he was rude and mid-way into my order walked away from my table to take food to another table. No joke - this guy stopped waiting our table mid-sentence to go help another table, then came back. My appetizer came out with my main course, the beer was luke warm, and the service was poor. The food itself was fine and they had a good DJ, but the service ruined the experience.

Our reservation was not honored. We arrived at 7:30 and still had not been seated by 8 o’clock. Apologies, but no real reason, other than they hadn’t reserved a table.

Service was slow and embarrassing, especially because we had guests who were at this venue for the first time at our suggestion.

Super dangerous rise right where reception area was and people had to get to and from tables. We observed several people trip on the step rise, as our table was right next to it and people had to crash into us to get by. Relaxing? Not really.

I would go back to some of my other favorites in Culver City before returning here.

Server was great but that’s about it. So noisy we could not hear each other speaking. Food came out so fast that it had to be pre-prepared just waiting for the order. Baguette was room temp, not warm. Medium rare steak was bloody, well done was cooked MR. so disappointing. I will not be returning.

I have seen some recent reviews that were not favorable, due to mainly to service.
People need to understand that restaurants are just getting back to normal and have great difficulty obtaining essential service people. I have frequented Meet since they opened and had not been there since pre-Pandemic. The food and service were outstanding, the patio entertainment very pleasing, and no-corkage on Thursdays a great benefit. Meet will remain one of my "go-to" restaurants.

Went to celebrate a birthday. The waiter asked if we were ready to order about 10 seconds after sitting down. We hadn’t even scanned the QR code. We asked for a few more minutes which turned into 30 more. Once we were finally able to order (given to someone that was not our waiter). They brought some bread that was ok, but no butter. He brought glasses 2/5 actually had water in them (literally set down 3 empty glasses) and then did not return to fill the rest. Our food came out about 30-45 minutes later, but one of the orders of fish was completely the wrong item, and the PETITE filet that was ordered turned out to be the main filet, but we did not know that until we received the bill and it was twice the price- also it wasn’t even cooked to how it was ordered. The food was delicious, but the service totally ruined the experience. Definitely Disappointed.

I went for lunch and it was just so-so. While the service was friendly, it was slow considering how few customers were there. I ordered the duck confit salad. The duck was a bit greasy and it was warm, so it caused the greens to wilt a bit. I don’t know if that was how it was meant to be served.

A lot has changed since before the pandemic - not for the good. I am a local, so I know the restaurant well. The portions are now small, the service less attentive. Our outside table was freezing cold with no heater nearby. And we were never offered a table with a heater. Next to us was a party of drunken Russians, who were loud and obnoxious. We wanted to order Salmon, but they did not have any Salmon, even though it was on the menu. And this was a crowded Holiday evening! Really shocking. In addition, I asked our busboy to tell the waiter we wanted to order an extra portion of an appetizer. The request was apparently relayed, but never acted on. Finally we had to ask for bread and were charged for it. All in all, it was not a positive experience. The wine was quite decent, but this IS supposed to be a French restaurant.

We’ve been to Meet In Paris many times, but never since the pandemic began, and unfortunately our experience was not good. The restaurant was understaffed, our dishes were dirty, it took forever to get our order taken and 45 minutes for our food to arrive.

The bread was under baked and crumbly. The charcuterie was good but contained a pitiful amount of meat. All the bread served with the dishes we ordered was unfortunately the same type of bread with which we started our meal, and not appetizing at all. The cheese was great, the pâté de campagne was delicious, but the bread. Yuck.

Brussels sprouts was the best part of our meal. Unfortunately it came out very quickly so our tiny two seater table was completely full. My husband was like “I bet they send everything out at the same time” and he was right

I get that this is a difficult time for restaurants but for what we spent (over 100) it was not an enjoyable meal. I would rather have stayed home and cooked

The first thing that I check when we go to a French restaurant is their bread. France is famous for its wonderful bread. This place will be famous for how bad their bread is, and they even charge extra for it and it doesn't even resemble a French baguette. This bread would start a revolution, and it would be justified.
We were seated at a small table for two with a surface so sticky that it took an effort to move plates or glasses around.
We ordered the escargot, soup, entrees and bread, we specifically asked that it NOT be delivered at once, well guess what ? It was all delivered at once, there was not enough room on the small sticky table. Problem is, server writes complete order on a small piece of paper, cook prepares order, runner delivers food as soon as prepared.
Dear reader; Don't give your complete order to the server at once, give them your order a little at a time.
Escargot, so/so, very little garlic flavor. $14.00 for 6, ???
Onion soup, nice rich color and flavor, best part of our meal.
Bouillabaisse, the tiniest shrimp and scallops I have ever seen, 10 large tender mussels, 2 of which were dead (unopened). broth flavor very tasty.
Beef Bourguignon, was cold by the time we got to it, not able to review.
Good place for a not expensive journey into French basic dishes without the iiis dotted.
This place could stand some management detailing.

Servers were to busy as the expansion of the dining area caused overcapacity of the staff. As a result, service were late, too difficult to get a hold of a server, and the food quality (somewhat) compromised.

Our server was friendly although she was too busy at times. Appetizers came along with our brunch menu, not before. Not cool but we were ok with it, wasn’t her fault. She was attentive to give my husband a candle with our dessert after noticing a happy birthday bag. I don’t think I made a note that this is a birthday brunch. So thank you! Steak was delicious, he liked the lobster Benedict. Our friend liked her duck confit taco. Nice ambiance for a bistro. Would’ve loved to sit outside if it wasn’t that cold.
