MEET in Paris
Tuesday & Wednesday - All You Can Eat Mussels
Last seating 8:45 pm / Last call 9:00 pm
Steak Tartare* **
Hand cut all natural sirloin, capers, cornichons, aioli, Dijon, mesclun
Parsley and garlic "snail butter," white wine, toasted baguette, cream, chives
I ordered the ciopino and the fish inside was salmon. The shrimp inside was the size of miniature shrimp and the scallops the same. The muscles were not fresh. This is supposed to be a French restaurant yet they serve tacos. The fresh baked bread was foamy and made of cheap ingredients. The 8oz filet was not fresh. The French fries were good. The French onion soup was overcooked. For the price of the dinner I would not recommend this restaurant.
Very good and high quality selection of foods!
Food was great as always. So fun to have so many Mussels options. French Onion soup is always like being in Paris. Service was a bit slow and inattentive but it’s also like being in Paris. The women at the hostess stand went out of their way to help us get drinks and the attention of our server
The mussels provencale had broth with no flavor. Caesar salad was good. Beef bourginon was average.
Overall very average. Had their special oysters a few months back and they were delicious. Friday was disappointing.
Great food, great service. Love this place. I hope we can dine outside for ever!
One of our first outings after getting our second vaccine shot. We met out-of-town visitors, at outdoors and stayed there undisturbed for many hours. The only negative was that they had run out of eggs by 1:30 pm, but I am sure that they never expected that many customers. It was a beautiful Sunday. We will go back again, as this was our 4th visit in so many years.
What you'll experience at MIP depends on the day and hour. What Culver City has done to its downtown area shouldn't have happened; it's chaotic!
Came for brunch on Sunday - really great food and service. Was a great buzz inside but was pretty busy in there and full. They also had the heating on which made it too warm at the back inside - especially during covid, not too smart!
We have eaten outside on the patio and that was much better especially now their staffing levels are better to cope with all the extra tables
Honestly I usually love this place but today the service was so inexcusably bad :( bottomless brunch is a rip off because they only refill your glass once or twice. It’s usually a regular spot for me but now I’m truly not sure if I’ll be back for a while
First and last time here. Total waste of $100. Took 5 minutes before we were even greeted, then when our appetizers came, no one told us what was what on the charcuterie and cheese plate. Also the escargot was just slightly room temperature. Our waiter didn’t check on us at all while we were eating apps and only once during the actual meal. I had wanted a bit of pepper for my potatoes but only had a couple left by the time he came around to ask how everything was. My friend had the artichoke, which was dry. Now wanting to leave, we had to go inside to search for the waiter who was seemingly standing around doing nothing. Took the credit card, then didn’t present it for another 5minutes. For the cost of this meal, just the bare minimum of service would have been enough but the fact that the food wasn’t good and our waiter was non attentive, lowers the value even more. Will not be coming back.
The services was lacking...our server was MIA most of the time but we did like the outside set up of all the restaurants...
The food and ambience were fantastic. It took a while to get our food but it was worth the wait.
Always a hit...service very professional lots of outdoor space food exceptional and the mussels always top notch...a regular on my dine out rotation
2 scallops and 2 tablespoons of risotto $18.
The food was shockingly terrible. Lobster ravioli had no salt and all you could taste was super “fishy” lobster. Also extremely underwhelming charcuterie board
The hostess was so kind over the phone and when we arrived she greeted me by name. The food was very good, too. The atmosphere is casual and it’s a great place to have conversation over a steak or mussels and wine. We will be back again soon!
The food was superb and the service beyond excellent. We shared the beet salad, charcuterie, crab cakes, ratatouille and steak. All were excellent.
I used to really like this restaurant-- it had a classic french bistro menu. They recently completely changed their concept and menu, and now its small plates with everything from tacos to duck confit. I found the menu too large and confusing, and the food overpriced. My friend and I ordered caesar salad, crabcakes, and scallops w/ risotto. We liked the salad and crab cakes. The scallops were just two scallops each on a tablespoon saffron rice (I would not call it risotto). The plate also included an inedible charred lemon slice and a forkful of overdressed spinach leaves taking up most of the plate. It was hardly an appetizer portion for $18, and it was not very good. If this restaurant is going to do a menu that competes with Akasha and other more upscale restaurants in the area, they will have to improve their game. They used to have a solid classic french bistro menu, and I really hope they return to it.
We ordered all you can eat mussels but had to wait almost 1 hour for the first plate! Then the same for the second one finally we left! It should be called “All you can wait” The waitresses hardly come around the tables! Disappointed!
Our duck confit was not soft it supposed to be juicy & fall off the bone but this was not true it was tough - No our mussels was warm but not hot but were tasty .......our 2 orders of escargot was delicious ...the service - I did have to look for our waitress who was very nice but did not check in with us often ....we did need napkins, water & salt ..we have visiting Meet for 20 yrs & this may have been one our greatest disappointments For Meet .... 😢😢😢😢. This was a 4 pm visit on a Wednesday in April -disappointed-
I love Meet in Paris. The food is great and it is so convenient. Great place to sit and have a meal and talk to friends.
They advertise bottomless mimosas but didn't have them because of Easter. They were charging $14 for one mimosa, which seems pretty out of whack with their brunch menu which is priced $14-$18/plate.
Our waitress was cold and rude and didn't check on us until after the food was already served. We had to flag someone down to order drinks. Our food took about 45 minutes and was served cold, there was hard cheese on my croque madam. They offered to comp the returned food but still made us pay for the overpriced drinks which was $70 with tip out the door. Horrible experience.
Disappointed, not a classic French restaurant like I expected. Got the escargot and mussels and both were lacking. And definitely not worth the price.
Service was horrible. Had to ask three different waiters to help while our waiter rarely visited the table. The food was excellent.
Unfortunately quality has significantly subsided. Won’t be going back.
Only mussel was good. Everything else was disappointing. Waiter never bother to stop by our table again after ordering the food
Music was too loud inside
The service was pretty lousy. They are nice but not attentive. Literally had to flag down the waitress to take the order. No real menus just on your phone which, to me, is rude. My mom is 90 and needed to look at a menu not a phone so had to read it to her. The food was acceptable but nothing special at all. I loved my Chablis. Wouldn't return.
Amazing food and amazing service. It was a scooch loud but honestly if you like French culinary dishes and you like seafood you need to eat here. Chef killed it
A ladies brunch with my vaccinated friends was in order and MEET was the perfect spot! We had a variety of lunch and brunch dishes that were all delicious. My only mark off was for the potatoes that came with my yummy Lobster Crepe. They weren't crisp and needed salt, which is something I rarely say. My Bellini was lovely and while the passing traffic could be a bit startling, I really did enjoy the bustle and ambiance.
Brunch started out slow but once we mentioned it was a problem they turned it around. We had a great time and the food was very good!
The restaurant was charming. The food was great. We sat inside and the music was very loud and we were unable to hear each other without speaking loudly. The manager advised that he turned the music as low as possible and disconnected one of the speakers. That did improve the experience.
I will keep coming back to this place. We love it
Since they have changed owners, the chicken was dry and the French onion soup was beyond salty.
It was good but limited menu than what was shown on open table. Also they did not validate parking. I would go again
Over all had a nice evening...food was was ok. Had escargot: good....steak au poive: lacking flavor but very tender....onion soup: good....ayce mussels: ok. Watress was very nice but made many mistakes. Very cute place wife enjoyed ambiance. Will be back to give another try.
We have been here many times and always enjoyed it. The food was really good and a terrific value. We especially liked the mussels dijonnaise. The appetizers were also very good and they have a nice pinot noir by the glass.
Dined here on a Tuesday night for a spontaneous date night with my husband, a week after we got back from our honeymoon. We were excited! But sad to say that we didn't enjoy the evening that much. Service wasn't great - we could tell it was probably understaffed that night, even the host had to fill in for servers/runners. The food was decent, but we were just a little too distracted to really retain the quality of the dishes.
The ordering process was rocky, it was rushed and felt like we were doing a transaction rather than a more engaged conversation with the server. When the server said he'll be back for our other orders, we had to track him down and hence we were more hung up on the wait before he returned. The server's attitude throughout the entire experience was rather unpleasant. But we will leave room for grace and revisit MEET in Paris again in the next month or so.
If the restaurant was trying to keep guests' dining experience fully contactless, then it's reasonable to expect a bit less from in-person service. Though I'm unsure if that was the case.
Pretty good value. Food was good. Servers got mixed up with things a little bit, overall it was great!
Slow service. Food was off this time. Too bad as this is one of my favorite places
