The food was delicious…it was a little loud because we sitting on the outside patio. We had a variety of dishes and everyone left happy.
Food was great. Service was excellent. Prices were a little high for the portions. But I’d come back in a heartbeat.
I have seen some recent reviews that were not favorable, due to mainly to service.
People need to understand that restaurants are just getting back to normal and have great difficulty obtaining essential service people. I have frequented Meet since they opened and had not been there since pre-Pandemic. The food and service were outstanding, the patio entertainment very pleasing, and no-corkage on Thursdays a great benefit. Meet will remain one of my "go-to" restaurants.
Warm, friendly atmosphere, great food & music, as always
Quite, space and good food & good value
The band was really good, but made the scene entirely too loud to enjoy a night out with friends who hadn’t seen each other in two years because of Covid.
Went to celebrate a birthday. The waiter asked if we were ready to order about 10 seconds after sitting down. We hadn’t even scanned the QR code. We asked for a few more minutes which turned into 30 more. Once we were finally able to order (given to someone that was not our waiter). They brought some bread that was ok, but no butter. He brought glasses 2/5 actually had water in them (literally set down 3 empty glasses) and then did not return to fill the rest. Our food came out about 30-45 minutes later, but one of the orders of fish was completely the wrong item, and the PETITE filet that was ordered turned out to be the main filet, but we did not know that until we received the bill and it was twice the price- also it wasn’t even cooked to how it was ordered. The food was delicious, but the service totally ruined the experience. Definitely Disappointed.
WOW, what a surprise. The food and the service were amazing. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
I went for lunch and it was just so-so. While the service was friendly, it was slow considering how few customers were there. I ordered the duck confit salad. The duck was a bit greasy and it was warm, so it caused the greens to wilt a bit. I don’t know if that was how it was meant to be served.
Had a great time! The steak Au poivre is always the go to dish, excellent. We had a bottle of Bordeaux and a round of cocktails. Dinner for 4 was a little steep but glad to support them back in business.
I feel like we ate everything on the menu. Everything was absolutely delicious especially the muscles and that amazing buttery creamy sauce which we took home. We ate all the muscles and took the sauce home and poured it over pasta.
A lot has changed since before the pandemic - not for the good. I am a local, so I know the restaurant well. The portions are now small, the service less attentive. Our outside table was freezing cold with no heater nearby. And we were never offered a table with a heater. Next to us was a party of drunken Russians, who were loud and obnoxious. We wanted to order Salmon, but they did not have any Salmon, even though it was on the menu. And this was a crowded Holiday evening! Really shocking. In addition, I asked our busboy to tell the waiter we wanted to order an extra portion of an appetizer. The request was apparently relayed, but never acted on. Finally we had to ask for bread and were charged for it. All in all, it was not a positive experience. The wine was quite decent, but this IS supposed to be a French restaurant.
We’ve been to Meet In Paris many times, but never since the pandemic began, and unfortunately our experience was not good. The restaurant was understaffed, our dishes were dirty, it took forever to get our order taken and 45 minutes for our food to arrive.
The bread was under baked and crumbly. The charcuterie was good but contained a pitiful amount of meat. All the bread served with the dishes we ordered was unfortunately the same type of bread with which we started our meal, and not appetizing at all. The cheese was great, the pâté de campagne was delicious, but the bread. Yuck.
Brussels sprouts was the best part of our meal. Unfortunately it came out very quickly so our tiny two seater table was completely full. My husband was like “I bet they send everything out at the same time” and he was right
I get that this is a difficult time for restaurants but for what we spent (over 100) it was not an enjoyable meal. I would rather have stayed home and cooked
The first thing that I check when we go to a French restaurant is their bread. France is famous for its wonderful bread. This place will be famous for how bad their bread is, and they even charge extra for it and it doesn't even resemble a French baguette. This bread would start a revolution, and it would be justified.
We were seated at a small table for two with a surface so sticky that it took an effort to move plates or glasses around.
We ordered the escargot, soup, entrees and bread, we specifically asked that it NOT be delivered at once, well guess what ? It was all delivered at once, there was not enough room on the small sticky table. Problem is, server writes complete order on a small piece of paper, cook prepares order, runner delivers food as soon as prepared.
Dear reader; Don't give your complete order to the server at once, give them your order a little at a time.
Escargot, so/so, very little garlic flavor. $14.00 for 6, ???
Onion soup, nice rich color and flavor, best part of our meal.
Bouillabaisse, the tiniest shrimp and scallops I have ever seen, 10 large tender mussels, 2 of which were dead (unopened). broth flavor very tasty.
Beef Bourguignon, was cold by the time we got to it, not able to review.
Good place for a not expensive journey into French basic dishes without the iiis dotted.
This place could stand some management detailing.
Servers were to busy as the expansion of the dining area caused overcapacity of the staff. As a result, service were late, too difficult to get a hold of a server, and the food quality (somewhat) compromised.
Lovely patio, energetic, hard to have a conversation service a bit slow but friendly. Food good especially onion soup and mussels
We come here for the mussels n we had 3 orders this time they were all v disappointed- frozen not fresh. Beet n goat cheese salads, beef bourguignon was also good.
It was a good dinner. I would recommend it to friends.
Our server was friendly although she was too busy at times. Appetizers came along with our brunch menu, not before. Not cool but we were ok with it, wasn’t her fault. She was attentive to give my husband a candle with our dessert after noticing a happy birthday bag. I don’t think I made a note that this is a birthday brunch. So thank you! Steak was delicious, he liked the lobster Benedict. Our friend liked her duck confit taco. Nice ambiance for a bistro. Would’ve loved to sit outside if it wasn’t that cold.
Fun music and good food!
We had an incredible wonderful dining experience from the moment we got seated and needed to move tables to the service, the food and the owner of the restaurant Everyone was so caring and kept coming over to check on us. The owner came over several times and brought us the most incredible birthday desert. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to go back and I highly recommend this restaurant
As always really good food! Mussels in lobster bisque, the fillet steak superb! And great service in a busy time.
Always a great time with the special outdoor dining and live music. Food is amazing and service was excellent.
Service was mid. Servers were friendly, but not attentive. Our order was incorrect multiple times, we were not given water until the end of our meal, and we had to remind the staff to give us appropriate place settings.
Otherwise, ambience and food itself were as expected.
The staff were all very friendly and it was very busy. We listened to the jazz band that was performing for about 2 hrs. They were very good.
Overall a great time and great food.
Used to love this place, still like the music and ambiance but food was lacking. We had Onion Soup, CesarSalad , Steak Frites plate, Chicken Dijon, and the Duck all of which were just ok and presentation was very lacking.
They are doing a great job post covid. Try to sit away from the barriers on the street. Buses fly by...not MEET's issue.
Delicious salmon and crab salad at lunch! Lovely service; kind and unobtrusive.
LOVE Meet in Paris!! Absolute favorite restaurant in LA. Come almost every week!
The sauces are limited on the muscles, the country pate was small and greasy not solid ,the oysters calimari and crab cakes were good .it used to be great now it is just passable however I will go back because I think it is a great place to hang out with my wife
The staff, the live music and the food were all fantastic!
Love this place!
A great place to eat, a little noisy, but food is really good. The duck confit tacos and french onion soup were excellent.
Meet in Paris is a local gem here in Culver City. We always have great meals there and meet great people as well. Service is terrific.
Food not so good. Service great. Nice outdoor location.
Great dining experience. Our server was excellent and the food was delicious! Will come back again!
While the food was very good, the service needs improvement. We waited a long time for our order and it was not brought out at the same time First, two dishes, then a few minutes later a third dish and five minutes after that the last dish. We had to ask for water several times. Dessert was brought out with no silverware. Love going to Paris, but lately the service leaves a lot to be desired.,
The service was very good. The server was attentive and helpful. The food was very tasty and was a good value for the price. We would definitely go again.
Service was great but the foods were not great……….not fresh or organic…….i had fish which was horrible and got sick…….taste like frozen fish and my man had chicken…….it was terrible …….so much cream and chicken like frozen style. We were so disappointed ……..we are so sorry.
I was expecting a comfortable French bistro I had dined at pre-pandemic. What I experienced was a noisy, rushed experience. All courses were served together with little thought to a relaxing evening. A loud deejay made a quick retreat the only relief. Sad
