   I used to go to the location in DC for years, so I was delighted to hear a Medium Rare had opened closer to home. They did not disappoint! My husband and I came with our 3 babies (all 2 years and under), and we were accommodated so well in their outdoor seating area (which was beautiful and spacious). The food was delicious, as is to be expected of this chain, and the drinks were impressive (tasty and strong ;). All of the staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Our server, Juan M. was quick, knowledgeable of the menu/food and drink options/specials, and let us know about brunch! I can’t wait to return!

   Steak was closer to rare/blue than medium rare, sent it back and got medium rare, then the seconds were well done.

   Busy Saturday night and full, noisy restaurant. Table we were shown too was in a good location but the seats were soaking wet (!?) Bread was fantastic!! Asked for salad dressing and meat sauce on the side—salad and meat had dressing and sauce. Salad dressing was out of balance with too much mustard. Steak (without sauce) was delicious and perfectly cooked, but everything (even the fries) had way too much pepper. Pinot Grigio tasted like Sauvignon Blanc. Rosé was delightful. Wait staff busy but attentive and responsive. Surprise! A second serving of steak and fries came as we were finishing the 1st. Carrot cake superb.

   Was very excited about this restaurant, having been to the OG steak fritte restaurant in Paris. This however was a disappointment. Very small portion for the steak for a place that’s all about this main dish. For this concept even for brunch they should include multiple helpings. Not worth it for the cost. If you are going to have a limited menu, make that one item the star. We won’t be returning unfortunately.

   Great meal and great value. Food was very good for a reasonable price. Cocktail was also delicious.

   The first thing I noticed when entering the restaurant was that the music was extremely loud - much too loud - and I asked the host if it could be lowered a little (though I really wanted it to be lowered a lot). I don't think it was adjusted; if it was, it was still too loud. Our server was excellent, very attentive and pleasant. Other servers who came to the table to refill our water were equally professional and pleasant. I especially appreciate water refills, this is not always done even when requested. The bread and fries were very good and the salad was excellent; it's really nice to have a salad with fresh tender lettuce and a good dressing (i.e. not balsamic or other sweet dressing; also it was not overdressed). The steak was cooked exactly as ordered (medium rare) but the portion was small. Our server explained that a second portion would be automatically served to keep the meat at the correct temperature. Sure enough, a second portion of steak and fries were delivered to the table just as I had finished my first serving. The wine was fresh and the amount served in each glass was good.

   Very small portion of steak frites for brunch. Not worth it for 36.00. Steak was really chewy.

   Food was fantastic - you need to get the steak frites or steak and eggs (if brunching). The sauce on the steak is to die for. The servers were incredibly friendly. Def try brunch drinks (only 25 cents per drink!!!)
