A Diner's Choice Award winner for the last 12 years! Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, $28.95prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and bottomless Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers. WALK INS and CALL AHEAD seating are always welcomed.

The food is wonderful as was the SERVICE. They tried to cram a private party into the far corner of the building, which made the noise unbearable during dinner other than that highly recommended.

What a great experience. Very busy but still managed to have a good time and our service was great! Food was excellent, Front house was very nice, and our server was incredibly nice and consistent. Our family left with a smile on our face and satisfied belly.

Went to Medium Rare on Monday for our anniversary. It was so slow. It took about 20-25 minutes for our drinks to arrive from the bar after ordering. And we went about the same amount of time between bread and salad. Both the beer and salad arrived after we flagged down somebody to ask about it. I had a pretty clear view of both the bar and the kitchen and didn't observe that the bar was especially busy and salads seemed to be flowing out of the kitchen regaulrly. Pretty sure we were just forgotten. Then after our salads there was another long wait for the steak frites which only ended once we found the manager to alert them that we'd been waiting a while again. The quality of the food is pretty good. But the service was so bad I'm not sure we'll go back.

The concept here is very simple- salad, steak, & fries- the only questions are how do you want your steak and what do you want to drink. The food was very good- the salad dressing was a dijon vinaigrette & there was a sauce for the steak- I'm not sure how to describe but both were very tasty. Maybe because of the noise, the waitress had trouble hearing us ask for more water- but overall she did a great job.

The hostess was rude and the waiter forgot us… Food is consistently great, salad was very samall.

The meat & sauce was great, but the fries were crispier than usual. It was also very noisy that night. My parents were having trouble hearing the conversation all night.

Thank you for making a 16 year old's birthday even sweeter! An amazing dinner and evening. Right down to the flaming candle on the hot fudge Sunday. Talk about a cherry on top!!!

very busy but a wonderful experience. The Hostess was very welcoming and nice. Our server was present every-time we needed anything! Amazing night to spend and dine in!
