Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and bottomless Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers. I can't say enough good things about our meal at Medium Rare. My friend and I went for his birthday, both of us craving steak. We liked the pre-fixe meal, it kept it simple and there was no dithering about what to eat. Neither of us ever had a Coulotte steak before. It was delicious! Cooked exactly how we ordered it, tender and tasty. The fries were perfect, crispy and nicely salted and a good cut, not too think or thin. We were enjoying our meal when, surprise! Here comes a second helping of steak and fries! We loved it! My friend particularly liked the salad dressing and would love to replicate it at home. Our cocktails were of a generous size, and we enjoyed the Bordeaux wine with dinner. Both of us had the hot fudge sundaes for dessert, his complete with a shooting sparkler because it was his birthday! That was a nice touch. It's the first food coma I've had in years and I definitely want to go back for more! Oh and hats off to John, our server, who was incredibly attentive. All the staff was, really. Highly recommend, make sure you have a reservation as the place was packed (Saturday night) and they had to turn away walk-ins.

Absolutely fantastic. Probably our new favorite restaurant. If you want steak frites then this is the place for them.

Although the food is still good it does seem like the portions have gotten much smaller and the prices seem higher. I also did not appreciate being rushed to eat. Seems like the server and the busing staff were constantly trying to rush you out the door. The busing staff were constantly trying to take food off the table even if we told them we weren’t finished. They were rude and unprofessional. Instead of a nice, romantic dinner with my wife, I felt rushed and pressured to finish my meal as quickly as possible for the next reservation.

All the food was very good: bread (and butter), salad, french fries and steak. Due to rain we could not eat outside - the music was unnecessarily loud

The service and food were incredible! It's a great value for the money, and everything tasted wonderful. It was very busy and quite loud (you had to raise your voice to have a conversation), but otherwise, a great dining experience.

Music was way too loud - I asked our waitress to have it lowered and it seemed to only get louder, leaving us to practically yell over each other to talk. My husband and I both left dinner with headaches.
