Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and bottomless Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers. It's very basic, steak and fries and that is fine. However, if your menu is going to be that basic, you should do it REALLY well, and they just do it ok. Steak is ok, fries are ok. Not bad, but not special.

This restaurant should be called "Mediocre Rare." If you like the equivalent to an all-you-can eat buffet of average steak and poor fries, this is for you. The menu is like being in a communist country. There's one option. Like it or leave it. The desert menu has more choices than the entrees. They couldn't even get the reservation right. I arrived 5 minutes before my reservation. We were seated promptly and assured they would note that we honored our reservation in their system. An hour after leaving, I received a message that we didn't honor our reservation. That's even more annoying than the ridiculously limited menu and below average food.

Love the concept - the food is very good but the ambience feels a little like a high end dorm experience - very mechanical - tables are jammed together - and as fast as possible it’s a bread, salad and sliced steak and fries. Get ‘em in and turn the tables. That said it’s a novel experience - just don’t expect a quiet, relaxed meal.

The restaurant had a friendly vibe, and the staff were very welcoming. Just a heads-up—this place only serves one main dish: steak and fries. You start with a few small pieces of bread (three for two people), then get a basic green salad with no choices. It was fresh but nothing special. When the steak came out, it was really thin—so thin that I started wondering if the meal would be worth the price. The fries were skinny, shoestring style, and the house sauce tasted kind of like gravy, though I couldn’t quite figure it out. We thought that was the whole meal and were just full enough—but then the server told us a second round of steak and fries was coming. It felt like a way to make the portion seem more generous, which helped a bit. Overall the food was fine and the second serving was a nice surprise. If you're into a simple, no-choice steak and fries meal, it’s worth trying—but don’t expect anything fancy or filling right away.

The steak is served warm but the fries and eggs were cold. The sauce is nasty. For the price and the concept of steak frites, it’s reasonable but ultimately it’s the worst steak frites I’ve had. They didn’t even offer the second helping like they were supposed to.
