My favorite restaurant 💖

The food is always well-prepared and consistent and there is a nice variety. The owner goes out of his way to welcome you and make you feel that he appreciates your business.

For the most part everything was good, but we were disappointed by the seafood paella. The rice wasn’t crispy and was definitely overcooked and soggy.

Our first, but not last, dining experience at Mediterrano was a delightful evening. Our meals were exceptional from the lamb meatballs appetizer , my sautéed shrimp and risotto,as well as my wife's grilled grouper. I had mentioned in the reservation that it was my wife's birthday and they very nicely brought out a Key lime pie with candles and greeting for dessert.
All this together with a very nice wine and perfect service will result in many return engagements.

Request table up front but instead got one along the back wall. Very noisy in the back, and too crowded everywhere’s for the times of COVID. Overall the food was great but between the lack of ambiance in the back and the feeling of being rushed,, not the same as it was in the past.

Great service and excellent food

Due to Covid we asked for outside table and was told we could not reserve but got very lucky because there was one empty table and it was well spaced. The other outdoor tables were too close together and under a 2 sided enclosure So we would not have felt comfortable. That said the food was excellent and the service to! Recommend that paella

We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely be back. We arrived for 6:00 reservation and were seated immediately. Service was very good but TOO FAST. I really wanted to eat more leisurely; the next course always came before we were wanting it.
Noise level by the time we left was too loud but maybe that's the way for a good restaurant. The food was terrific.

This is my go to restaurant to take out of town friends and family. Food is always amazing. Service always wonderful.

The food was good but not great. It's very crowded and the tables are very close to each other.

Matthew was a fine server and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was great!!

I like the food except at the end as We got up the table to leave, the woman matra Dee came over fast grabbing the check in front of us which implied we didn’t pay.

First time visiting and it won’t be our last! Dinner with our friends for my birthday. Seated very close to reservation time and immediately had our drink order taken by a very friendly waitress. Had the flaming cheese as appetizer and it was very tasty! The menu is very diverse with many good dishes to choose from. Everyone had something different and all were very good! We were treated like we’ve been there many times and after this experience, we will be regulars.

One of my favorite restaurants in Naples. Passionate and hard working owners. Over booked on a Thursday. 6:30pm reservation and seated at 7:00pm.

We recently went for our Anniversary. Everything was fabulous!! Our server was great with his choices. The lamb meatballs & shrimp cheese plate was delicious for apps. Our entrees of Mediterranean grouper was excellent!!
My husband can’t wait to return to get the paella.

I know I am an iconoclast, since this is such a popular restaurant in Naples. If you ever had Greek or Italian food, or any kind of Mediterranean food in Italy, Greece, NYC or Chicago, you wouldn’t think that’s such a great restaurant. I am glad they are doing so well, but below par for me.
My grouper was tough, unusual for fish, usually happens when fish is quickly defrosted. Octopus was tender, with a bland sauce, and very expensive ($24) for an appetizer. Service was very good.
By the way, if you are concerned about Covid-19, don’t expect social distancing at all.

A must in Downtown Naples near 5th Ave. Party of 4 - each ordering a different entrée that was excellent!!! Risotto with Shrimp; Mahi Mahi; Fish Stew; Beef Tagine - wonderful! Service couldn't be better. Wonderful mix of Mediterranean flavors! Wine & Beer only served.

VDAY dinner didn’t disappoint. This establishment is a class act with amazing servers, chefs and atmosphere. Overall, this establishment is a 10/10. The flaming cheese appetizer is unbelievable and the lamb meatballs are a must. Go here, you will not be disappointed.

The paella is outstanding, very authentic! Nice wine selection too.

Mussels and chorizo were excellent. Best lamb shank I’ve had in ages. The grouper and branzino were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We totally enjoyed this dining experience. It was a little noisy and pricey. But In my opinion it was worth it.

Visually attractive restaurant with very good food and polished, professional service. A gracious and welcoming restaurant in an upscale area where haughtiness is mistaken for sophistication.

Great fresh food, nice wine list with reasonable prices. Loved the “upside down” flowers. We really had a nice Valentines Day dinner.

We had dined here last year when we were in Naples. The food did not disappoint neither did the service and the restaurant is very nice and the hanging plants on the patio are so different and add such a nice ambiance. Like I said the food was delicious. I had the pasta with seafood and my husband had the bronzino, both were excellent. We had the olives and feta appetizer which we shared and it also was delicious. The only problem I had that the tables were very close, just as they were last year. Last year there was not a problem, but with coronavirus still very prevelant in Florida we thought the tables were too close and I was uncomfortable. We have noticed that at some restaurants the tables are very close but others they are spacing them further apart. I was not comfortable with the closeness of the tables under the current situation. Otherwise everything was excellent. So if you are concerned about sitting too close I would maybe reconsider until the virus is more under control.

Mediterrano is consistently one of the best restaurants in Naples. The atmosphere is so charming! The owner and staff are always professional and welcoming. We had the quasi caprese salad, which is a variation that includes beets and was delicious! Also thoroughly enjoyed the Moroccan salmon, which we both ordered as I did not want to share! Also enjoyed delicious reasonably priced wine! Highly recommend!
