Headwaiter Trevor tried to stick us in a corner jammed into table for two — even though it was 5:00 PM and ALL the tables were empty I take it because we had white hair. Please tell
Owners that others with similar age would not like the Trevor treatment. Next stop yelp. I live locally.
Food was very good except dessert. I had the apple pumpkin crisp it was awful. It was lukewarm with some cold areas. Topping not cooked. Awful, ruined the meal. My impression of our server- she was trained but not good. On the plus side my cocktail was good and the wine offerings were good. However one example of our server’s failings she neglected to ask for additional drink orders when our glasses were empty. Nonetheless, I still like the place.
Mediterra has just introduced the "Impossible Burger," the newest vegetarian hamburger. Out of curiosity, one in our group of four carnivores ordered it and allowed everyone to have a taste/quarter. All were surprised at how flavorful it was and that its consistency was definitely similar to tender ground beef. The bottom-line was that we were all impressed and more than convinced that most would not know they were not eating beef. Excellent meal in every respect.
Food was delicious and staff was excellent.
Manager Jeff Spielsinger always does a great job. He makes you feel right at home.
Great Service!!! Nick-- Apps were great, I wish the main entrees were more flavorful
Great food . Great atmosphere . Great sangria
Excellent food and service. We will be back !
Great service, the restaurant was full of energy. I really enjoyed my meal.
Terrific Service- Great Food in a stunning location. We were happy to be seated and our waiter was the best. The pasta and the fish were outstanding. Everyone had a great time and the service was unhurried on a busy night. We will return!
The mussels were disappointing. Rather tasteless - or even fishy tasting- with a lot of canned tomatoes. Needed garlic or maybe wine in the sauce.
We were a group of 5 who ordered “family style”, got a bunch of food and tried most of their cocktails. As the food was brought out from soups, appetizers, entrees and finally deserts, we could believe the flavors ...everything was so amazingly tasty. While it was a bit pricey (we did get a lot of drinks) I can’t wait to go back.
The waitress was distracted overwhelmed & inattentive. The fish special was sold out early in the evening. A server spilled my glass of red wine did not wipe the table off give me a new napkin as mine was completely wet or new glass of wine.
It was good! I went for a date night and really enjoyed it.
Had a nice dinner with my teenage daughter tonight. Everything was amazing. The service and the food were outstanding.
Always great! One of my favorite spots for a business dinner.
Vantine’s dinner venue for a happy couple. Loved the prix fix menu and wine pairings were spot on. Also like their standard menu of smalll plates. Service was cheerful and nicely paced. Great evening!! Recommend to all.
Valentine’s Day dinner
We dine frequently at Mediterra and this Valentines Day dinner proved to be as delicious as usual. The ambience is warm and friendly and the staff friendly and accommodating to our requests. The special menu offered many options and we opted for the wine pairing which were wonderful wines at a very reasonable price. All in all a great dining experience.
great valentines day menu. food imaginative and well prepared. server, anna, very accommodating. a small delay in food delivery led to a reduction in the tab. good lighting. slightly crowded but not unreasonable
The food was great and the service couldn't get any better was a great night an d would go back again and again
Perfect cuisine & atmosphere for a Appreciatory Luncheon with my colleagues.
Can’t wait to have the wild mushroom parpadelle again!!
This was the second time at this restaurant. This was for Valentine's dinner, and it was excellent. The food was great and service very good. My girlfriend and I had a great time. I will be returning in the near future.
My wife and I hadn't been to Mediterra for a couple of years, so it was nice to get back to one of our favorite and most reliable restaurants. We're glad to find that nothing has changed. We definitely won't stay away so long again.
Varied menu offerings and worthwhile daily additions, all well-prepared. Attentive service and quiet enough for conversation around our table of six, despite the full house.
It is always good but it is also overpriced
The staff worked with us to make sure we could get in and out quickly since we had run late and needed to get to a show. Always very friendly and helpful.
The paella was delicious! Great service too.
We shared an appetizer which was delicious. After polishing off our main courses, we unfortunately did not have room for dessert. The choices looked great!
Our server and all the others were very helpful.
we go to Mediterra often and its always good.. except for this time. Sat at the high top tables
took forever to get any service, water...even menus.. had to ask for everything. the waiter forgot one of our entree orders so we sat waiting for an hour until we asked where the food was.. he said he got confused!!! so we left the restaurant.. sorry that didn't work for us.. next time going to sit at a regular table.
We have been to Mediterra a number of times. We were very impressed with the dinner that we had on Saturday. Menu seems to have been shortened and is more focused. Everything we ordered was great. Keep it up!
our server was congenial, fast and got us newly brewed coffee when our first cups were served cold. She was friendly, knowledgeable and a delight.
Solid food. Good service. Overall good experience. deserts were exceptional Would go back
Very disappointed. Tunanichoise salad
was on the menu online. We were there Sunday at 2:30. Went specially for the above salad. We’re told when we ordered that it was only available during the week. Said they had no tuna!! Should say so on line. Also, servers reaching across in front of you when clearing dishes. Not professional!
Mediterra was excellent, as always. The food is very good, the atmosphere warm and lively, and the service was outstanding. We were late for our reservation and had concert tickets. We were served so quickly I couldn't believe it; and we didn't even tell them we were short on time.
For a quiet romantic dinner, my first choice is Eno Terra. But for a small group celebration in a casual fun atmosphere, Mediterra is as good as it gets.
Everything was very good except the noise level was, as usual, too loud
We were a group of six friends who visit with each other once or twice a year. The waitress quickly realized that we would want to be there for a while, and she communicated that she was not going to try to rush us out. We appreciated that, and tried to reflect that in her tip. She was professional, helpful, welcoming.
Food here is consistent and reasonably priced. It's a great brunch/lunch option.
My husband and I had dinner at Mediterra before a theatre performance. Loved it! Food, service, wine all great. I had the octopus appetizer - was grilled and seasoned to perfection. My husband enjoyed the salmon and I the rigatoni with wild boar sausage - so good! The service was attentive and the atmosphere lively but not too loud. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.
The best food in Princeton. Friendly staff, good food, great wine. Not cheap, but worth the investment. Glad I found this place.
