   This popular cafe has real potential however it seemed like it was under-staffed. Long waits! The noise level was unpleasant. More soft furnishings would help the sound which is so loud with chatter that it’s difficult to hear each other talk. These points sadly detract from what could be a really fantastic establishment.

   Even when the place is heaving, such is Medicine's popularity, the team are always exemplary. Even the new members of the team have picked up the customer service ethos that makes Medicine great. And the food? Croque monsieur with two fried eggs? Absolutely perfect. Every bite is a delight. Coffee is as smooth as silk. Looking at the faces of other customers you can see what Medicine means to them. This is the place where something special happens. It always happens and I love it.

   Diverse menu, food was great service with a smile warm friendly hard working staff..would highly recommend…will definitely be visiting soon!!

   Food didn’t taste fresh, we both had the medicine breakfast. It tasted like it had been sat under a heat lamp to keep warm, although the greens it was served with were lovely. The service was inconsistent, we had been served breakfast within half hour however probably for the reason mentioned above and then what seemed like forever for our sweet baked goods which we chose from the display. We then ended up having smoothies to go as they also took forever, granted they were fresh and did taste delicious. Overall I would say the atmosphere was lovely, the baked goods and smoothies were great. The breakfast was a disappointment so I would think twice about returning.

   Hi Sarah, I am sorry you were disappointed with your visit on Monday. I can reassure you all our dishes are freshly prepared, with fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, we did have a member of the team off sick on Monday and that may have been the reason why you had to wait a little longer for your food .     The food here has never disappointed! I’ve eaten at the Codsall restaurant many times and have never had a bad meal. My only dissatisfaction with this last visit was the service from the staff. I’m completely understanding that the bakery was on the busier side on the day/time we booked, however I feel as though staff were not very attentive. It took them around 15 minutes to come over and take our order, and I believe it was only because I stood and started walking over to the counter that the waitress noticed we were ready to order, and we didn’t receive any cutlery until I asked when the food came out if I could get cutlery from anywhere. Despite feeling as though the service wasn’t up to the usual standard I know it to be to, I would likely return because I hope this was just a one off, and the food is always impecable.
