Confit Duck Wings
sweet, spicy chili; Pairing: Belgian Ale
Shrimp & Grits
Tillamook cheddar, thousand island, house pickles, fries
I’ve yet to find a dish I don’t like at the Moth.
Great place to chill, inside and outside are both a great setting
Great food. Consistently good. Super service. Lotsa fresh air and Covid careful. Dependably excellent.
This was exactly what we were looking for. A relaxing place to be able to enjoy some great food and good drinks with a few friends.
Great bartender! Great atmosphere!
It was my fiancée’s birthday
Birthday brunch for my niece and it was great all the way around! Loved the hostesses. So kind!!
Lindsey is the best server. We've followed her from two other locations from the past and always get great, super-friendly, and efficient service.
One of my favorite brunch spots - limited menu with Covid but still great as always
Remains one of my favorite lunch spots, but beware because parking is a significant challenge without the valet service.
Service is a hallmark of the experience. Portions are reasonable, but be aware that the BLT sandwich does not measure up at all to the former version. Very sad! I've now given up on what was my favorite BLT in Dallas. They're skimping on the bacon, the tomato is not as fresh and the sandwich is drenched in mayo. Don't skip the fries.
Not a great spot for conversation; music is too loud.
Slowest service ever all the way around. We waited about 6 minutes to be greeted then everything from that moment mimicked the same lack of urgency. Food was cold when came out but we were so hungry we ate before beers arrived.
Good service, atmosphere and food.
Appetizers were good. We both got the specials for dinner. I ordered the scallops and there 4 about the size of a quarter on my plate. Definitely not worth what they charged for it. I’ll stick to the mussels and appetizers next time.
Always a great place to go. Awesome selection of food to enjoy!!
From the hostess who allowed my dog to come to our outstanding waitress and great food, overall great experience
There's no social distancing on the patio. If the waitress has to keep hitting a chair to walk by dont you think you're over crowded? We had to wait 15 minutes alone just to be greeted, another 15 to get drinks. After we finally got drinks and diners were leaving were we able to get good service but the whole first impression was not good.
Owner needs to hire more staff for a perfect Fall Saturday brunch. Menu was limited and staff over worked.... a nice brunch turned into a ordeal to to get food and move on to our day. I’ll re-evaluation my brunch meals going forward I’ll try other options next time
This is consistently one of the best in Dallas for great food. Every meal is so well prepared and precise.
Great brunch spot! You get a ton of food for the money and the drinks are great! The patio is definitely the spot to be when weather is nice!
Great food and service
We had a small group of four visiting from out of town for a weekend bachelorette trip. Meddlesome Moth was much more amazing than we anticipated. We will definitely be visiting again!
Food and drinks were great!! Looking forward to going back soon!
The service left a lot to be desired, bartender more concerned with chatting up 1 of the 4 other bar guests than asking us if we knew what we wanted to drink or have questions. The food used to be amazing, the mussels were good, however avoid the tuna and pork belly. The bartender didn't even mention that we didn't eat much of the 2 sharable items and had put trash on them as the bar top was not maintained. It is sad to see this happen, the place used to be good, great beer selection, the Elvis stained glass... AVOID this place
I just wish there was more space between tables in patio. Not distanced enough for me.
Food was amazing! Service was a little slow but the waitress was very nice. Great date night spot that’s not too fancy.
Nice atmosphere, food is good too. Good place for a first date.
It was a lovely dining experience from start to finish. Staff was friendly , warm and helpful. And the food was delicious. It made my party and I very happy that we decided to do brunch at meddlesome. And we will be back again!!
Brought my 6 year old. We loved it and had a wonderful family lunch
Birthday brunch! French press coffee & mimosas were wonderful! Loved their guacamole but wished it was a bit larger for the price. Or possibly give more chips... the Chicken Salad sandwich was good but I wish they gave the option for a different side than salad. I love greens but sometimes that just isn’t what you want. Ya know? Also, this was a pretty dimly lit place, which I enjoyed. I wish their brunch menu had more options. Worth the visit!
always a great experience! i've been coming here for years...
Didn't even know that there was a covered open air patio. Perfect place to have lunch on a cool fall day.
With a name like this, I had to try. I am so glad I did. We met the family for brunch. Great location, vibe. I will be back many times for sure!
Limited craft cocktail selection - 😫
Great food, nice selection of drinks, love the patio. Biscuits & Gravy and Shrimp & Grits was our brunch with a Bloody Mary and a Saison Brett. Excellent.
It was a family date brunch for the three of us after a long period of COVID-19 shelter in home. Meddlesome Moth was excellent in servers wearing masks, providing social distance in between tables, temporary single-use table covers, wonderful and friendly service with yummy dishes and drinks for brunch. We were so pleased with our morning there before going in our way to the DMA. Thank you!
We had the monthly manager special. The appetizer was the sausage with jalapeno jelly and little crostini bread, my husband had the Lobster Bisque. The entre was the Black Angus fillet with roasted asparagus and Au Gratin Potatoes...DELICIOUS!! For dessert I had the Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream, my husband had the Cherry Cobbler...YUMMY!! Thanks for a wonderful dining experience!
good food and nice patio to dine on- waiter was attentive as well
The place was gorgeous! For anyone looking for brunch spots in Dallas I recommend. The only thing I did not appreciate was the complimentary valet man being quite rude to us. I think it may have just been him and he was just having a long day but he was very rude and basically rushed us out of the car and then got mad when my friend left his phone and told him " I have things to do". The food and restaurant was great but that really sucked. We even still tipped him
Birthday dinner success! Always a fan of this restaurant and glad to see it is surviving during COVID and appreciative of their participation in DFW Restaurant Week. Looking forward to a return visit.
