Food was excellent and enjoyed the atmosphere. It was priced a bit high in my opinion ($18 average for a lunch item). Service was a bit slow for lunch, but overall pleased.
I live close, hadn't been and loved it! back shortly...
great food and great service. Will keep coming back
Order the Lamb Stick! I wish we had ended with it. I would have liked to explore more of the small plates. We ordered the beef marrow, the farrow veggie plate and the moth balls as well. The beef marrow was very fatty, as it's supposed to be. I would have have liked it accompanied by chimichurri instead of the salsa verde to give it a more earthy taste and I wish they hadn't cooked the capers. It made them a little too salty. The moth balls were good too but I think the cream sauce was overkill with the existing dairy. I would have liked to see it paired with a fruit reduction like cranberry or a more exotic berry to give it more complexity. The farrow veggie plate was good, not great. As for the lamb stick, the ground lamb and the seasonings were on point. I loved the hint of cinnamon. The yogurt sauce was excellent and mixing with the hummus was a good call. We should have ordered two!
Staff was very pleasant...guided us thru a wonderful dining experience. As it was our first time there, we made a wine selection, opted for the Belgian mussels & Moth Caesar salad to share as a starter. Our waiter was exceptional in his knowledge of the menu and pointed us to the shrimp & grits... outstanding dish! The service & timing was well paced...the place was packed but not too noisy...just an overall great dining experience! Would definitely go back again & explore some of the other tempting options on the menu!
Place was awesome! Love the people there. Very kind
The food was amazing as was the service. And the French pressed coffee was super good.
I took an old friend to lunch, and as usual, the food was delicious. We needed time to catch up, and we were not rushed by the staff. It was a lovely experience.
Loud noise at first when we entered and the restaurant was full. Later in our time there the noise level dropped considerably and we were able to converse more easily. The food is good but not top drawer. The service and ambience are outstanding. We will definitely return.
My husband and I wanted to have a nice brunch and decided on the Meddlesome Moth. It was a busy Sunday, but we didn’t have to wait long for our reservations. We both took the waiters suggestion and had the Doughnut breakfast sandwich (homemade doughnut holding a sausage patty, bacon and fried egg). At first we were a little concerned the doughnut may be to sweet, but not to worry. Perfect blend of sweet and savory, excellent Mimosas and coffee. Wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon
Drinks and food were great. Wonderful staff.
Basically an appetizer type place with a great beer selection.
Excellent spot for lunch in the Design District. Roasted Chicken was perfection.
Dinner here was amazing! Service was fantastic and our waiter had lots of great suggestions. Valet parking made getting in and out very easy. Can't wait to go again!
Excellent service, amazing food, hearty portions, great ambiance! Took a business colleague for lunch and it was great. Will definitely be back!
Such a wonderful experience always!! Creative Culinary options along with seemingly unlimited options for cocktails and beer! Always a great choice for any occasion and looking forward to my next visit.
Love the beer and beer list. Food pricey but creative and good.
Meddlesome Moth is one of my recent favorite restaurants. I discovered it several months ago and have been back several times since for brunch, lunch, and dinner. All three have excellent food options! For those of you who like a large beer list, there are tons of options! Definitely highly recommend.
Great date spot
Hailey was an awesome server and the food was so good!
Nice meal before the Mavericks game. Service was very friendly and efficient.
Wonderful experience. Foods d drinks are amazing.
Great beer selection and bar staff.
Met some friends for brunch. Brunch was great...everyone enjoyed their meals. We recommend the morning buns and the waffle. Sadly, my take home salad can be best described as lackluster. I ordered a Cobb salad with prosciutto-there was one tiny strip of prosciutto and one egg in the take home box and no dressing. Disappointing for sure since it wasn’t worth the 20 dollars.
The food was great! Highly recommend the badass bacon waffle to anyone! The service was subpar. We had to keep stopping people to ask for simple items like silverware, napkins, refills on water, etc. Seemed like our waiter was extremely busy. He only came by our table 3x while we were there. Would still return because of the food and prices.
We really enjoyed our food and the service. We've been there once before just for drinks in the bar and enjoyed it then as well. Brunch was super yummy & so were the bloody marys!
This place is a must every time we come to Dallas! You won’t be disappointed.
Nothing was really terrible, but nothing stood out enough to make us want to come back. The food was where everything fell short. The “moth balls” lacked a crunch that would have made them 10x better, but the truffle sauce that came with them was good. The beef tartare needed salt and flavor that the two tiny cornichons given couldn’t make up for alone. The burger and mussels were both good. The peach cobbler was underwhelming - basically canned peaches with a layer of pastry dough thrown on top. The lavender cocktail had WAY too much lavender, and it overpowered the whole drink to the point where we could smell it from the table. Our server, Patrick was great and very personable, but other than that it was just a very mediocre and disappointing dining experience.
Great service! Our waiter was wonderful.
Had brunch there and loved it! The food was great, the menu amazing and our server was outstanding. She was the perfect waitress.
Food is really good, but they missed the mark on some of the items we ordered while other items were spot on. I think the value is missing though on some of their items. Patatas Bravas, for example: $13 for 5 pieces of fried potato on a garlic aioli. It was good, not the best I've had, but good; still, at $13, you would expect more of it or the best of best. Not all menu items were over-priced though. Take the cod fish and chips: priced appropriately and Awesome! Overall, I would recommend and I will return.
We had a delightful evening on the patio. The beers and shareable plates were great. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
Excellent guacamole. The mother and son (fried chicken, grits, jalepeno gravy, poachedeggs) brunch dish was delicious. Wide selection of beers. Great atmosphere
Very rewarding experience! Snapper was the special and it was extraordinary as was the cherry cobbler àla mode.
Fantastic experience and service. Combine their bacon ice cream with bacon skewers and you are in heaven!
From out of town and my daughter recommended. Great service, food and fun! Highly recommend it!
It was wonderful!! Good amazing as always and server was superb
The food was great and the beer and wine selection was the best
