It was date night tonight. So my wife and I decided to go to this sometimes- forgotten gem of a restaurant that holds itself very well against the many wonderful Italian restaurants in the Conejo Valley. upon arrival we were quickly seated at a table to our liking, and I would say that the vibe was lively. (Meaning, that it was loud inside) , but we made the choice to stay inside because we wanted lively. Outside looked more romantic, but too quiet for us tonight. We ordered a wonderful bottle of Italian white wine, and let that linger throughout the night. Service was attentive friendly and professional. Our food included branzino and veggies, and a fresh tagliatelle with truffle. Each dish tasted delicious. The Bill was about $60 pp before tip, which, I view is a great value considering that we ordered a $50 bottle of wine. Looking forward to returning soon.

I like Mediterraneo's both for it's location, service, and food. However I was somewhat put off by the fact you have to pay ($&) for valet parking on the weekends and Mediterraneo's does no provide a parking voucher. So in addition the the limited brunch menu and inflated prices for food they also hit you up for parking.

Expected more out of a 'fine dining' experience at the Westlake Inn. Food was good, prawns were fresh, octopus was a great appetizer, and our pasta entrees were enjoyable. Issues: 1. Menus were plastic and dirty 2. When we ordered two glasses of rosé wine, no one came out with the bottle to show us the wine we were being poured. For all we know, we drank some other rosé (it did taste like rosé so I know that much) instead of the one we ordered. Furthermore, when I asked a second glass of wine, the server poured my second glass in such a rush, that he spilled wine on the table and did not apologize nor acknowledge the issue. 3. When our food came out, every server placed the plates on the table without asking who ordered which plate. The demeanor was rushed and clumsy. Furthermore, when our entrée plates were picked up, we were asked: "you good?" instead of a polite: "are you finished with your plate?" "You go to a restaurant for the food, and you come back for the experience" - I'm glad I went, it was great food, but sadly I won't be coming back if this is the experience.

We had Mother’s Day reservations for a large party of 8. The ambiance and food was great, it the 55 dollar set price per person seemed high for what we got, but the trade off was for a restaurant that wasn’t overly crowded. The restaurant also seemed well staffed, but our table seemed a little ignored by our waiter. It took about 30-40 minutes from the time we were done eating to get out check so we could leave, which would be my only complaint about the experience.

The spicy salmon appetizer was sloppy in presentation. The meat was significantly undercooked. The waiters take things away without asking first.

Always a favorite. Love the steak and frites. Steak is seasoned so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Substituted the frites for grilled asparagus. Very yummy. Service is always excellent. A great evening

Very good food with more of an American menu than a Mediterranean focus but service was poor many people moving around but not really serving only taking an order and delivering the food. Had to ask for things a number of times even though some staff were stand around.

Upscale in ambiance as well as price, however like most places these day, people are a mixed bag when it comes to what the dress code should be. This place warrants some effort when dressing. Collard shirt at the very least and no tennis shoes, however some think that they are dressing for their neighborhood Starbucks. It's tacky! The food was fine. I have had better and our server was very good, however the rest of the staff could not wait to get our plates off the table at the end of each course. They didn't even ask if we were finished. They just took plates while a little bit of food was still on them. Nice place but there are better options in the neighborhood

Always great. We sat on the front patio. Three tables asked for the music volume to be lowered. All else was superb. But the music should complement conversations as background, not be in competition with conversations.

The food was very good, especially the house dessert that my husband and shared. I just felt rushed through dinner and while the service was good, it was not exceptional. We stayed to have an after dinner drink which again was good and we moved into what I call the "fireplace" room and sat on a comfy sofa to get away from the noise in the main overall dining room.

Our dining experience was very nice, I would recommend sitting outside as inside is very noisy. Our waiter, Nathan was outstanding, food nd ambience was great! Basket of bread is $4.00 but worth it, hot and very tasty! As busy as the restaurant was, Nathan was attentive and super nice! Everything about this restaurant is outstanding except one thing….the parking situation is absolutely terrible p, especially on the wkends. It is valet only and they don’t have enough workers to accommodate the crowd for Mediterraneo and it’s neighbor restaurant, Stonehaus, Definitely a drawback as it takes forever to get in and out!

Great food as is typical here. The service took a big dip. We were served the appetizers and the salad simultaneously (not much room left on the table). We’ve become accustomed to better. Noise level was above normal (a few customers who may have had a couple cocktails before being seated)

It seems that as the owner has expanded in the area and people keep coming to the different venues here, the food quality has drastically suffered. Greens didn’t look fresh and the food was just too salty. Calamari appetizers looked and tasted like out of microwave, including the lemon !! The ambiance is what keeps the customers what it would have been nice not to lose sight of quality .

Outstanding. Beautiful ambiance. Wonderful table. Our server Alex was beyond! We all had the steak frites with different sides. All were cooked to perfectly to each person’s preference. The asparagus was outstanding. Dessert looked like a mud pie but was again beyond belief. All in all, a perfect dinner and lovely evening

Very disappointed- the food was very average for all the hype. My pasta dish was not seasoned enough and the salad had huge chunks of candied pecans - that were mushy. The serving for the ricotta cake was too large and it was dry. Although the server was nice - it felt like he was pushy is to spent more - he kept asking it we wanted more food.
