Excellent service and our steaks were terrific. Cooked perfectly. I can't wait to come back to Dallas to visit again.
This is a hidden gem that we found on a trip to Dallas. The restaurant is very clean and nicely designed with plenty of booths and tables to choose from and is beautifully decorated. They even have some dog friendly patio seating outside. The service was top notch. Our server was very nice and attentive and made great food suggestions, although after we ate we realized that you probably just can’t go wrong no matter what you order. The food was truly exceptional. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection and the flavors were on point. If you are looking for an authentic Mediterranean experience this is as authentic as it gets. We have eaten in many Mediterranean restaurants in Texas before and none of them even came close to the authentic flavor that is offered here. We recommend the hummus with Shawarma which comes with fresh pita bread as well as the chicken kebabs which were super juicy and char grilled to perfection. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a delicious kosher everyday meal, or to anyone who wants to try a truly authentic Mediterranean restaurant and see what real Mediterranean food should taste like. This would be a great place for special occasions and get together’s as well as every day dining (we would eat there every day if we could)). We are looking forward to our next trip to Dallas so that we can dine here again.
Was on Xmas and since most restaurants were closed, I thought a Kosher restaurant would be a good choice. No mention on OpenTable that there was a special $30 buffet being served. It was a “”Chinese” buffet, consisting of 1 choice of soup, salad, pad Thai, rice , & an egg roll, a chicken & a beef dish. I had gone to a REAL Chinese buffet on Xmas eve, where you could select from many dishes , including 4 different kinds of soups, appetizers, entrees, vegetables, salads, fresh fruit,. and desserts & beverage all included, for only $11. At Meat Point, you could not make your own selections -they filled a plate for you. There were only 3 small pieces of chicken included on MY PLATE & while there was more of the beef,, it was very tough. You could NOT have more of the beef or chicken dishes, but more of the noodles, rice or soup was permitted.. Whereas I was told I could choose off the regular menu instead of having the buffet. However none of the entrees were less than $30, unless you got a burger or sandwich - so the buffet was the best value. Had I realized the buffet was so limited, I would NOT have chosen it. In fact, since they made the plate for me, it was not until I received it that I realized no egg Roll was included. When I finally got a server’s attention, she was able to correct the error, but it took quite a long time. And it was cold and soggy. Again, that was rectified, but it also took a very long time. Then, It cane with a very small amount of sweet sauce on it, so I requested more. Much more waiting ensued before it was received.
All in all, it was a very disappointing experience.
I have eaten there several times before and had excellent food, so I was shocked.
The food was overpriced for what you get. We split a Caesar salad, which was okay and cost $12. The steak was $60 and desert was $12. I ordered an ice tea and when I asked for a refill I was told that they don’t give refills.
The steak was good, but overpriced. I assume it makes sense if you are kosher, but if you’re not you will be paying the same amount as a great steak house.
