We booked this for my wife's 50th birthday, we were so excited to get a great steak.. 3 of the four of us ordered steak and 1 came out warm and cooked correctly. My wife's and my steak was cold and undercooked. She ordered med and I ordered med rare. We had to ask for our waitress and she apologized had mine cooked more and my wife simply said she didn't want her steak anyone. Mine came out but as you can guess it went past med rare.. so my expensive wagu was ok but not as I ordered it.. when you go to a restaurant that has these kind of prices...you hope they can cook a steak correctly... They did take the two steaks of our bill and waitress was super nice but the experience was shot.. and then she told us the Manager wanted to give us a gift certificate for our trouble but we got tired of waiting after we paid. If it was that important the manager had ample time to come to the table and address this issue so I must think there was something more important??

Perfect Birthday Lunch for my mom! They seated us outdoor and had a good view of the waters & still enjoy the cozy ambience of their indoor dining area. The food was good— the dry-aged steaks are worth every penny, the ribeye is a favorite. The sides complimented the meat well, sauteéd mushroom is a must-have. They have good cocktails, Broadway is light and refreshing with a hint of basil which takes it up a notch. But most of all, service was great! Our server Ricky went above and beyond. Very pleased with this visit and will definitely come back again!

Pretty overrated. The view and location are selling points but the food is just OK.

I ordered the oysters, octopus, and the shrimp with calamari. The only thing that was delicious was the oysters octopus. The shrimp and calamari was absolutely disgusting. In all, this was not worth $130.

It was phenomenal: fantastic food and drink; wonderful, attentive service; and a great space to enjoy a meal. Can’t wait to go back. That sums it up.
It was an amazing experience I took two seniors who were thrilled with the level of service. They were in awe of Rick’s service and attentiveness as well as his attention to detail.
The ribeye was cooked perfectly and mom said she was coming back for more salmon.
Only one woman’s cheesecake comes close to the deliciousness served here my sister’s pumpkin cheesecake.
We will come back and enjoy the wagyu next. Thank you team Meat on Ocean for treating us like ROYALTY!

Overall this place is very good. The wait staff and front of house service is exceptional. The physical space is vast so you're never crowded and it's an open air restaurant. It's a good place for a big party or a small group - probably not the best for small kids.
Good wine selection and huge steak selection. Overall a good value for the price.

We requested patio and we were seated next to the huge open windows with roll up shades. Which turned out even better than we could have hoped for. Because the view is amazing. The food was good, the drinks were great. Our server Mathew was amazing. Answered all of our questions without issue. Overall a very good experience.
Janise and the wait staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and secured us a bottle of our favorite wine. The complimentary birthday cheesecake was amazing. The 90 day aged ribeye lived up to its delicious recommendation. After sunset the street noise (motorcycles, emergency vehicles) and the 4 inebriated loud guests left. Feeling welcome is being seated when I check in even if my guest is not as early as I am. I have reservations which I confirmed. There was availability. I could have a drink, have an appetizer, enjoy the evening as much fun as it is watching others check in and be seated quickly.

Service was excellent by our waiter. Explained everything very well. Food was excellent. Only issue was I requested a table for my buisness dinner to have a view and in front of Ocean Ave ...we were elevated but had many tables between us and the Ave...only disappointment.

The Japanese Wagyu wasn’t my favorite, but maybe just because the Tbone knocked It out of the park.
The oysters rocked and the bone marrow was my favorite dish of all. The only complaint is that I didn’t order two.
After my last trip here a couple of weeks ago, I said never again because though my server was mostly competent, the restaurant management, especially the floor manager, was terrible. This time, that manager was not present and the restauant functioned well. No items on the printed daily menu were missing and they even had some that weren't on the menu. Great! The servers, although the restaurant was mostly full, were not overloaded with tables and the number of diners-to-server ratio was back to pre-pandemic levels. Amazing what not having one manager present can do for a restaurant. I now again recommend this place and will be back soon.

Alejandra was wonderful! Everyone there was so warm and helpful and the food was some of the best I’ve had. Our charcuterie boards were so beautiful and the steaks were perfect.

My wife and I stopped by for a random date afternoon. We were seated at a table with a great ocean view and the food was amazing. The staff's suggestion on food was amazing. We will definitely be eating there again.
