Was excellent to be back at Meat, Flour, Wine last night after their devastating fire. The place was packed but food and service where great. My wife and I had two of the specials the rissoto with prawn tartare, and duck leg confit both where exceptional. We will back again now that they have reopened.

The carbonara was dry and the look wasn’t cooked consistently some pieces really pink and others overcooked

We were severely underdressed because we found the restaurant while we on our way looking for Sth to eat. We went in asking if there were a table for two, the manager told us he’ll go check and left us for a bit and then said no he can’t help us. But before arriving to the restaurant I checked if I needed to book and I found spots available to book just minutes away from arriving, so I assume we wouldn’t have to book. But I was really craving pizza I went online and booked a table for 2 then went back to him and said I found a table online, then he said oh but even if u book online it’s not live and we might actually not have a table for you and showed me that he really didn’t want to help us. I kept standing there waiting what he’ll do and eventually he did find a table for us.

The food, the drinks, the staff, the atmosphere - everything here is just so good. Absolute fave place to go in the burbs. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Buonissimo!

We had the most lovely experience at Meat, Flour and Wine. The food was absolutely to die for and I can honestly say, it was the best scotch fillet I’ve possibly ever had. The ambience was just so lovely and the staff were very professional and friendly. i definitely recommend this place - the steaks are a little pricey but the quality is exceptional
