Meat & Greet BBQ started in 2019, where initially we sold uncooked meats which had been seasoned with spice blends from all across the world. The Covid pandemic saw the business begin to grow rapidly – with us delivering our high-quality meats all around the clock, direct to customer’s doors and helping people in need to get food they required.

In 2021, many of our customers were asking us to add a street food element to the business so that our delicious meats could be enjoyed on the go. With Lee having an existing passion for being behind the grill; already owning several BBQs and cooking outdoors on them all year-round. Using the best cuts of meat, seasoned with fresh blends of herbs & spices cooked over local lump wood charcoal, Meat & Greet BBQ came alive in the summer 2021. 18 months down the road we have one of the best reputations in East Anglia, not only for BBQing but as a distinguished street food vendor.

Very noisy in the restaurant. We had to raise our voices to hear each other. There were errors made at every course. Orders sent to the wrong table or not bought out at all. To be fair these errors were corrected promptly. And we received a free desert for the missing order. The food was itself was ok but a would have liked larger servings. I was expecting something more impressive from a steak specialist. I don’t think I would book here again but if I was invited here buy someone else I would return.

Was really looking forward to trying this restaurant but it did not live up to expectation. Thought the steak would really taste chargrilled and be the best we had ever had but sadly not. It was a birthday celebration for my son which was not acknowledged in any form, even though I had added to notes. And it was not cheap !

Fantastic Sunday roast, everything was full of flavour including the dessert! Service was great, quick and all served with a smile! Loved the music choice too! Would highly recommend

We have already had a couple of steak dinners here. Today, we tried the sharing roast which was delicious. Great service as usual too.
