Based upon the menu I expected something just below fine dining, which is what I wanted. Looking for something above a LongHorn or Outback Steakhouse. What we received was a cut below. Nearly everyone at the restaurant was there for the Friday night seafood buffet. Buffet looked nice enough, but not what you expect at an upper level restaurant. Service was haphazard and disorganized. I should have gone elsewhere.
The seafood buffet was wonderful. Beautiful grounds My husband ordered steak and it was also very good
The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the food presentation was very pleasing. We had a very nice dinner experience. Because of bad weather, live music was moved inside and that was a little too loud. The music itself was very nice and enjoyable. Just a little loud to have a conversation at the table, but understand it was a last minute thing. Will definitely come again.
Crableg buffet was amazing! Service was good. Desserts were fantastic!
Everyone was expecting attentative and very nice and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful birthday experience.
Quality of food was good. However, for the price you pay as a seafood “buffet,” I was certainly disappointed with the selection of options. It would be more accurate to advertise as “all-you-can-eat crab legs with a few additional seafood items.” Was really hoping to be impressed, but the experience fell short.
Service was great as always...biggest problem, if your not a crab leg eater, the buffet just isn't worth the price you have to pay & the other option of ordering off the menu is rather costly as well.
Could not accommodate the crowd. We didn't get crab leg crackers until we were finished eating. Vegetables were not good. Food was not worth the money.
Great food. Very nice atmosphere. No need to dress fancy. Causal atmosphere. Just go for the food. You won’t regret it.
$40.52 for cold crab legs that looked old. We tried several times to get them hot but lukewarm was as good as it got. Wont be back !
Amazing seafood buffet! Great atmosphere! Sides were excellent as well
Seafood buffet crab legs and shrimp are great! Wish had a few more items on salad bar and better desserts. There was a couple there with their 9 month who cried the whole time and they didn’t bother to take it out to calm it down. Was not what I wanted to hear for my date night out. And yes I know babies cry but parents should have taken out to calm it down .. I’ve had one and they are unpredictable BUT I always took out of restaurant if she was constantly crying.
Crab legs are of course what most people come for on Friday nights! This was my 2nd visit to The Meadows and it won't be my last! Although it's a little pricey, it's all you can eat seafood buffet so if you leave hungry it's your own fault. As mentioned before, most fill up on the crab legs, which is the main feature of the buffet. I gave 4 stars out of 5, taking one point off for the desserts. They are lacking. The swordfish and cod were good, as were mashed potatoes and grilled shrimp. Roasted cauliflower was awesome but they ran out early, the broccoli replacement was not as tasty. They offer a fairly small salad bar with sides, which I did not try as my focus was crab legs. They also have a couple of choices of bread if you enjoy bread with your meal. All in all, it was an enjoyable dinner and I will return in the near future!
Was disappointed that there wasn’t mashed potatoes or cream corn. I love those. And the vegetables were practically non existent. But overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal as always! And I recommend it to a lot of people I come in contact with that like seafood. And the salmon was awesome this time! And so was the chicken! And of course the crab legs are always delicious!
Friday night they have a seafood buffet that is excellent.
The food was fantastic, but the service was horrible. The server was more concerned about the larger table than taking care of us a party of two.
The server also took my glass of wine before I even finished it.
Very disappointed in the overall service.
For the price, not a large selection of seafood - crab legs, shrimp 3 ways and 2 types of baked fish. Vegetables and salad bar OK. Desserts were just thawed from frozen. Not up to expectations. Probably will not return.
The crab legs were great, service friendly and prompt and the ambience was very nice. Too bad the seafood buffet is only on Friday nights!
The seafood buffet is always great.
Great service. Friendly staff. Awsome food. Very nice decor.
The Meal was amazing. Chef you did an awesome job.
My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner here. We were celebrating my Birthday. The Crab Legs were awesome! I recommend dining at Meadow for any special occasion.
Crab legs were hot, plentiful, and delicious!
Salad bar was nice. Peel and eat shrimp were a little under cooked, frozen, but nicely seasoned!
The desserts always leave something to be desired.
We have been enjoying The Meadows seafood buffet for many years! We remember when the desserts were homemade, all of them!!!
Great birthday celebration brunch with family. Wonderful variety and delicious!
The food was delicious and our waitress was very nice, but she seemed as though she was in a hurry and took our plates before we were finished eating. She was nice, just a bit overzealous and scattered.
Waitress was great and so was the food
Food is always fresh and hot. The drinks are delivered with friendly fast service. Reservations can be made which I LOVE. Great over all dinning experience!
Great and prompt service. Crab legs are excellent. Rest of the food is so-so. Popcorn shrimp way over cooked. Fish was ok. Deserts just ok.
Not a lot of choices besides the crab legs. Limited options for the amount of money you pay for dinner. Our server was excellent however, she was absolutely amazing.
Our favorite seafood buffet over time has morphed from all fresh to a lot of over cooked breaded items.
We depend on Meadowview to be better than average-they must been outstanding!!
When I pay 35 for a seafood buffet I expect freshly prepared seafood and fresh veggies.
If I wanted breaded I would go to a fast food chain. The breaded items always seem rubbery and over cooked. This is an adult buffet-if kids want breaded/fried give them a menu!
The soup & salad bar continues to be the shining star with outstanding clam chowder!
Crab legs ang grilled shrimp are awesome!
Thanks for listening!
Love the online reservation option. Waitress was over the top friendly and offered to check on any questions I may have had. The food was delicious !! and I am not just referring to the crab legs. Hats off to the chef for the mango/ jalapeno sauce over the salmon soooo wonderful !!
Been attending the Friday night seafood buffet a few times a year for over 14 years. I reccomend it to anyone who loves seafood. A few of the servers have waited on us and are always friendly and say hello even when wecare not in their area. Never a bad experience.
It was awesome and our server was so sweet and nice and made us feel special we will be back
Brunch buffet is too expensive for the quality of food.
The choices were not good and the dessert was frozen
It is all you can eat snow crab with piping hot butter for $33 a Head. Everything else is secondary. The crab is cooked right and you don't have to wait for it. I don't reccomend the bloody Mary's.
The food is good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. One problem the Fri night seafood buffet is 33.00 +tax+tip. Way over priced for what you get.
1st time eating there and the experience was great! Great food! Great service!
