The entire experience was amazing. Bre was our server and she was lovely, very attentive to any needs we may have had throughout the evening. She was extremely knowledgeable on the dishes and told us anything and everything we might need to know. The manager Abby also dropped by and made sure we were well taken care of. The mock-tails offered were possibly my favorite part of our meal. I enjoyed La Flor and my companion enjoyed El Elote, both elegant and unique. Thank you so much for having us and we will be sure to join you again!

MDRD is over rated. Much of its appeal is reliant on it overall ambiance; the food is good but not great. The service is excellent and the city view brings one back.

The dinner experience was exactly what I was expecting. Great service first off. Lauren did a fantastic job. It was our anniversary and the staff made it known with a small personalized note in the table and some amazing chocolate calligraphy on the dessert plate. You get what you pay for. Everything tasted phenomenal and was a great experience. I would recommend the Taza de Melon drink and the El Limon dessert was to die for.

The restaurant was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view. I got the trout and it was absolutely horrific. Next time I go, I’ll probably just get a salad or drinks just to enjoy the view.

Adam was our server & he did such a great job that by the end of the evening I thought my husband might leave me for him. It was my first time eating there (we usually only have drinks at the bar), and the food was excellent!

Everything about this place is fantastic. The food is amazing, both in presentation and taste. Our server was personable and attentive. Excellent service for our party of 4. We didn’t feel rushed and everything we tried was delicious.

Hostess sat us at a table with no view despite there being better open tables available. There was cold air blowing on us (they fixed it after we mentioned it). Food was ok but it was just the regular dinner menu despite the fact that it was 11:15am on Mother's Day. Tapas were pretty good except for the prawns which were room temperature and gritty (i.e., not cleaned properly). Desserts were exquisite and delicious. Server was very friendly. This was our third time to MDRD and probably our last. It's just not good enough to justify the price, especially if you're seated at a garbage table. There are better tapas in town at more reasonable prices. It's fine for drinks and a dessert. But the food could be way, way better. And if they're going advertise "Día de la Madre at MDRD, a special Mother's Day celebration," it should be something more than a mimosa with berries.

It was my second time there I brung my aunt and cousins there for Mother’s Day we were in the room Chueca it was beautiful the views were incredible the food was delicious the host was amazing it was my family’s first time there and they enjoyed themselves and said they loved the host for making it very nice we will definitely be back !

The food was horibbly bland! We had the Duck dinner and Scallops dinner. Extremely disappointing! Tapas and drinks were decent if you're going for the GR skyline view, otherwise Leo's restaurant or Bowdie's Chophouse will be a worthy spend.

I made my reservation at MDRD a couple of months ago, specifically requesting table 31, as it is the corner table with an incredible view, and that is what my previous server had told me to do. I never heard that my request was not a guarantee, nor that I would not get it. When I arrived, we did not get the table I requested, and I was upset. I would have reserved on a different night if I would have known. I found the croquetas and the lamb chops very salty. Our server misunderstood our order and never ordered me the rainbow trout I had ordered. My partner was waiting for me to get the trout, and so her patatas bravas and lamb chops got cold while she waited. Our server had not been by in a while, so we had to ask the hostess for help. The Limon dessert and the chocolate soufflé were to die for! The presentation is a work of art, and the tastes were exquisite! I highly, highly recommend going just for those two desserts and the view and ambiance. The 3rd dessert (almond cake) is not great. Overall, a wonderful locale with some good food, but not worth the price (unless you go for the 2 desserts!).

It’s all about location. We were sat at the worst table in the restaurant between 2 loud groups. We had no view out the window and it was absolutely not worth the price. The server was sweet but very soft spoken and we could not hear her with the loud parties on either side of us. I think it would have been a much better experience at a different table but our experience was poor. We left before ordering dinner.

Beautiful place and you can’t beat the views of Grand Rapids. Server was very attentive and helpful. Limited menu where entrees are $$$$. Tapas menu is fun - sharing plates - but not much food so be aware. Cocktails were great. Everything was delicious, just limited choices and quite expensive. But for special occasions I would go again.

This was our first dining experience at MDRD, and it was above and beyond our expectations. The service was top notch and the food was out of this world. I have never heard my partner giggle after taking a bite of food before. We will be back!
