This is a favorite out of town escape for us. We live in the heart of Seattle and we love the McMenamins inns and restaurants. This one is so accessible and also a get away for us. We drive up there for dinner and music or a history talk. The menu is great! We had the roasted Brussels, salmon pasta and a wonderful cobbler for dessert. Since we have modest appetites, we shared one order of each and felt happily full. We also like the beer they make , good selection of diverse flavors.

Always a welcome spot for our biweekly family get-together. We prefer sitting inside and the servers do a good job balancing between the outdoor tables and the sun-shy. We tried a couple new breakfast offerings (Longshoreman and Farmer's Choice) - both excellent.

The food is very good here and the server we had was very attentive. It did take a bit to get our dinner but the reason for that was explained to us. We weren’t going to a nice place to hurry!
