   The server was amazing and we were seated right away with reservation. However, the food was not as great. It was lukewarm at Best and obviously not fresh. The restaurant is very beautiful and I will probably still come here again.

   Took over 30 minutes to get our food and it was clear it had sat under a light for a while. Taste wasn't bad wasn’t anything fantastic. Probably wouldn’t choose to come here again anytime soon.

   Our reservation was at 7, we did not receive service until 7:30. We waited another 30 minutes for drinks to come, and another 20 on top of that for food. Our server never came back and checked with us, nor told us what was taking so long for food and drinks.

   We all enjoyed our dinner. We were seated promptly and ordered drinks and appetizers first. We highly recommend the seasonal egg roll special. They were delicious. So delicious that I forgot the other app we ordered😊. Jamaican rice bowl with added grilled chicken was good, but it seemed to be missing the typical pop of flavor. I think one ingredient may have been missed. But it was still good. Friends loved their pizza and salad. And said the crab and shrimp roll was very good. One of my favorite things about the McMenamins pubs is the fresh squeezed fruit juice they use--that attention to detail, really kicks them up a notch above other bars. My Palomas were delicious.

   This used to be a great place to eat and show our friends from out of town not anymore! We waited a long time to be served our food and then it was clear our food had spent a long time under heat lamps. The fries were rubbery and just warm. The price you pay here there is no excuse for this

   We went in for Easter knowing it would be a busy day but hoping the food would be worth it. We sat down and waited to order for a bit- placed our order and were told it would be 45 mins to an hour for food, which we were okay with. Ordered some appetizers hoping they could come out a bit quicker. My son’s meal thankfully was delivered quickly so he could eat while we waited. And waited. And waited. As we waited, the restaurant emptied out. Food finally came out- no appetizers just entrees. Everything was cold like it had been sitting at the pass for a long time. When we asked about appetizers, we were told they were never put in and they offered to put the order in but we declined because we did not want them anymore. Told the waitress everything was cold but some of us ate the cold food because we waited so long to get it and were hungry. Meal was comped but it was our second time having a bad experience so we will likely not go back.

   This was my first experience at a McMenamins property and we found it to be lots of fun! The Tacoma property is at the old Elks We explored all seven floors, five of which featured different bar/restaurants! All under one roof. We are in the main dining room, and then went down to the Old Hangout for after dinner drinks. We loved the artwork on every floor the unique chandeliers, and the eclectic atmosphere!

   It started out really great. Waitress was super friendly. Then I think there was a shift change cause after we got our appetizers and drink from the first waitress, we waited around 40 minutes for someone to come back and take our food order. Plus the first waitress said cause it was my birthday she was gonna bring a little something out for me and that never happens since I guess her shift had changed.
