Jo Jo was our server and he made it such a great experience. It was a wonderful Valentine's dinner.
DELICIOUSNESS... friendly service. We arrived to a full house on Valentine's Day. Using open table. We were seated right away.
Loved the food the ambiance and how attentive our servers were. You can never go wrong when choosing to dine at Mcmenamins, whatever the occasion or location.
I am a huge fan of McMenamins. No matter which property I visit, they never disappoint. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent. Jo Jo was our server and made the experience even better. I would highly recommend Cedar Hills McMenamins to anyone.
Service was horrible and we were shoved into a corner table.
Took half hour just to get water. Very loud. Servers were in no hurry. Food not outstanding. We had steak and salmon. Seemed pricey was $60 plus for two No alcohol. Will think twice before going again
We had a reservation for 4. We were seated fairly quickly - but were not able to actually "sit" in our assigned booth - the benches were too close to the table and not able to be moved. There are 3 table booths along that area. It appeared that the benches had been moved at one point, giving a large amount of space to the 1st booth, less to the 2nd, and no ability to sit at the 3rd - the one we were assigned to. I am not a large person and I could not fit.
So, we were re-seated to a table.
We spent perhaps 5 minutes at the table before we were approached by the manager - who had seated us in the initial location - asking why we moved. His immediate approach and assumption was that we just moved ourselves.
We had to move yet again - because a reservation for a larger group was made and the space was needed. That group took priority over our reservation and reseating.
Obviously we did not feel very welcome, even with a reservation.
The service was fine - but the food - especially the fries - were served luke-warm, making them inedible. No staff came back around to check on us. We were not asked about drink refills. Or if we wanted dessert. It felt like we were an inconvenience.
I know it was a Friday evening. They were busy, but not every table or booth was occupied, so service shouldn't have been anything out of the ordinary.
This is not the typical service I've received at this location.
Perhaps it was because of the full moon??
