The shrimp appetizer was a subpar, far below the Costco shrimp I had via my neighbor last week. I think chewing on tires would have more flavor than the salmon. Both the child and the adult main course were dismal. The chicken fingers were fried to oblivion, the crunch could have chipped a tooth. The adult main was so undercooked, it almost got off the table to walk back into the ocean. If it wasn't for my daughter who has a beautifully humorous outlook like mine, I'd have had a bad time.
Fabulous food and service 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Lovely waitress & food servers, decent overpriced food. Super loud, couldn’t hear across table. Restroom needs to be serviced during evening, toilet paper all over floor. Partitions are a nice beauties but a table of 3 was too close to us sans partition.
View of the ocean was great, food was good and the service was excellent.
I was quiet when we were there, only about 30% capacity
Great food, great view of the ocean coupled with excellent service, what more can you ask for!
Delicious. Pricy, but well worth it. The view is absolutely stunning.
Great experience but empty and would not move us to window although open spaces went for anniversary. But overall had a good time
Date nights are perfect at pier house. The view is amazing and it’s very romantic.
Sat in the tent on the deck clean which was A++. Food is mediocre. Service was adequate. Prices are high for the food.
Our favorite place!
Everything was great until the fire alarm went off as we were finishing our Easter meal. Everyone was evacuated, and our waitress decided she needed to follow us with check in hand to make sure we didn’t run off. She was the ONLY waitress to act in this manor. We have NEVER skipped out on a check! Of course we would go in to pay after we were allowed back in. This was a slap in the face quite frankly as I am a frequent customer here. We did not get to order dessert. Thanks for the great Easter. (Sarcasm)
Recently visited for Easter brunch. There was an issue with our reservation but was taken care of as quickly as possible by the Manager Kayla. She was courteous and friendly while helping to solve the problem. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was excellent! The ocean view was stunning. Just a little advice: confirm your reservation and get the name of the person who is confirming it! Overall, EXCELLENT restaurant!
I am tremendously disappointed in my experience with this restaurant. I made the reservation a week in advance, called to ask questions in regards to the reservation for brunch, and confirmed information a third time when they called asking for a credit card for the reservation.
Upon arriving they told us that we could only order off of the ala cart menu which had only two breakfast options. When I showed the staff and management my reservation confirmation confirming brunch, they told me it was full and grilled/questioned me on when I made the reservation. Stating that I didn’t make the reservation early enough (but yet confirmed what my reservation was for during two separate phone conversations). They were holding the brunch in a separate part of the restaurant but made no attempt to accommodate our reservation with them.
We ended up leaving the restaurant and went somewhere else for brunch, which was fantastic. This situation was handled very poorly and the restaurant did not stand by their reservation or what they had instructed me as a customer in two prior conversations. We will never go back to that restaurant as it clearly is mismanaged and can not stand by their word.
Food and service was great!
Loved being able to order off the main menu from the bar area. Arrived early and while table was not ready yet, which was understandable, finding a table in the bar area allowed us to enjoy our meal sooner without sacrificing quality or service. Wait staff was very fun, friendly and attentive. Wonderful meal!
The view and ambience is what makes this place, it’s not the food. The food is about average. We went for dinner and the appetizers are plated beautifully, but there was nothing overly special and the prices were high for the entrees we ordered. Again, the view and ambience is why i would go again. I would only get drinks and appetizers next time. Service was very good.
All was good.. seafood, seevice, beautiful ocean view and spaced well for social distancing!
First time experience at the Long Branch restaurant. Have previously been to McLoones in Asbury Park and National Harbor (DC). This was by far the best! Although we only had lunch, it was great! Our waiter Ramon was fantastic and deserves a raise! Keep up the good work!
Food was cold and service was extremely slow. The view was the only redeeming thing
Very good crab and avocado tower, would go back just for that. Our entrees were bland for being as expensive as they were. I ordered penne vodka with lobster and I make better at home. Nice view and drinks. Waiter took 20 minutes to return with our card to sign the check. Probably won’t be back. Nothing special
Great service. Food was good. Nice view of the beach & ocean.
Very nice day, good view, good service, and very tasty food ... thank you for a nice afternoon
Service...had 2 waiters, one training the other. Super slow to acknowledge us, super slow to bring our drinks (we had to ask for them after a long wait) and for the money, the food was just OK. The window seat overlooking the beach was the one saving grace.
Great food and friendly and attentive service. Beautiful views
Food was very good , service , very good, wish there were some more options on menu..
We had a late lunch at McCloone’s Pier House on an absolutely beautiful day. It was wonderful to sit inside, nice and warm, and watch the ocean and the people on the beach. Our drinks were excellent and lunch was delicious!
Great atmosphere, service, and the food was outstanding.
Service was great but food was average
We love enjoying at McLoone’s. One of favorite places to eat in Long Branch.
The view was beautiful, the wait staff were very friendly and the food was amazing.
Delicious food for all four of us. Wonderful apps, dinners, and salads. Atmosphere is beautiful, glass walls overlooking ocean. Service was good. Expensive meal but worth it for a special evening out!
Very beautiful location.
Quickly seated. Nice menu selection and excellent service.
Excellent location, food was delicious. Menu a bit sparse and prices a bit high, I assume due to limited capacity from COVID.
Overall a nice restaurant in a great location by the ocean.
Lovely ambiance and nice service.
We had a wonderful lunch that felt like we were on vacation.
Everything was good except the service from the waitress. She did not follow up in the beginning or through our meal. Waited on our drinks as well was our check.
Jill was a wonderful waitress & made my 1st experience wonderful. The manager on site that day was wonderful as well in correcting my meal choice.
It starts with the amazing views and then the awesome server we had...
I ordered the edamame appetizer and the vegan risotto. It was great to have a true vegan option on the menu vs. something I need to modify to make it vegan. The risotto was delicious, loaded with vegetables and perfectly seasoned. The portion size was large.
My husband ordered a shrimp cocktail, followed by the bronzed Mahi for his entree. He enjoyed them both tremendously. Very tasty and large portion.
Our server was friendly and efficient. The view was beautiful. The cocktails were plentiful. Will definitely return to McLoone's Pier House.
