   My husband and I love McLoone's Pier House! The outdoor dining is so lovely overlooking the ocean. The food is always good and the service is friendly and professional. We highly recommend McLoones!

   We got an oceanfront table. We ordered lobster bisque excellent quality. I ordered the Cioppino full of seafood and delicious lava cake was good an outstanding value great food wonderful service

   Our first visit to McLoone's Pier House. We had a nice table overlooking the beach. Service was very good. Our server was Tara, who was very friendly. Our drinks and food arrived quickly. The ambience is relaxed and not noisy. A very nice dinner!

   Food was not fresh. Staff was not helpful. We had no utensils, or napkins We had to actually clear our dishes out of the way because our main plates came early and the server watched us clean the plates up. Horrible experience.

   The view was fantastic and the lobster blt was incredible. Service was slow (10 minutes before anyone came to our table with water) (sat with dirty dishes we’re removed) crème brûlée as burnt. Management was quick to try to make things right. I. Have eaten here many times snd this is not their norm ….

   The food was ok. I ordered an entree that had seafood in it. But when it came out it had no lie about 20 baby octopus in it. Which it did not have on the menu. Here they cooked it wrong. They never offered to replace the food or discount it. Over priced food

    We had a family dinner to celebrate Father’s Day and a special birthday. The restaurant and staff were very accommodating with us bringing a cake and candles. Dinner was delicious as usual and the sangria was perfect! Our waiter Sabastian took good care of us.

    Father’s Day! Mccloone’s has a great spread for brunch. The seafood, waffles and omelettes are good. The only thing that they could work on is dessert but normally I am full by the end.

    My husband and I went to McLoones Pier House for our anniversary. We got a table near the windows which had a nice view of the ocean, however, the noise level in the restaurant was deafening. The acoustics were so bad, we couldn't even have a conversation without yelling back and forth. My husband had the fish and chips which were so greasy, he could only eat the fish without the crust. My spicy shrimp and couscous was very good; however, we will not be going back. While the service was good, the ambience was terrible! The prices were on the high side and the food was just OK. What a disappointment!

    Went to dinner for a birthday it took a while to be waited on once we sat down food took a while to come out fish was dry ravioli was warm we had a dirty cup of water they put their fingers in the cup when serving water would no go back again

    Service was the best thing I can say. Food overpriced and sincerely mediocre . They charge 6.95 for table bread!! I guess you pay for the beach view. Not again

    The waitresses were very good A+. The food was great - although I felt a little overpriced. The only downside was being placed next to a bridal shower who were super loud and getting very merry. I would definitely recommend McLoone’s though because I think it’s a pretty solid restaurant choice.

    After waiting about an hour for my food to come out, we noticed that the food tasted and looked like it had been sitting in the kitchen for about 10-15 minutes. My shrimp tacos were painful to eat, I was afraid the tortilla would stab the inside of my mouth because of how hard it was. The bread on the steak sandwich was impossible to take a bite out of. We asked for condiments which never made it to our table and everything took unnecessarily long to prepare as the restaurant was mostly empty. The food was flavorful and would’ve been good otherwise but I will not be returning.

    Had a delicious meal and a wonderful time with friends. The weather must’ve deterred many people because the restaurant was not overly crowded and we were able to be seated along the windows for a lovely view of the ocean. I’m never disappointed with the food at McLoones! We dined on shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, swordfish, tuna, and salmon. All cook to perfection and served to make the mouth water! Our wait staff was attentive, observant and on their game. Drinks filled at the perfect time! Thank you Megan and good luck to Sabastian!

    We drove a hour and half to get there and when we arrived they said all reservations were canceled but no one from this place never called us or leaved a message. After few mins the manager said we can stay.

    Awful dining experience. There was a riot outside the restaurant. No place to park. Inside the noise level was unbearable. The entertainment drowned out any conversation. We will not return. Recommend that if you’re thinking about dining here check first to see if there’s an expectation of large crowds gathering. I realize that it’s not the restaurant’s fault but it’s location near the boardwalk would make it prone to such events during the summer or hot weather.

    McLOONE's is very different from Avenue (Fr) and Sirena (Ital) alongside. Nothing upscale about the place. No frills, basic food and drink at a fair price w ambiance of a fast food joint. You get what you pay for. Receptionists and servers look stressed and unhappy, which is contagious. Some menu ítems are delivered not as advertised, e.g. interesting Bloody Mary w Jumbo Shrimp arrives w/o any kind of shrimp in sight. I can imagine that's because they were gobbled up by long lines of beach goers, but no warning, apology or adjustment is offered, w or w/o a smile. I won't return to this McLoone's or go into any of the others.

    The appetizers were just okay. My friend got the lobster shrimp bisque soup and it came out with no meat in it. They brought her meat in a very small cup and told her to dump it in the soup. We complained and the manager apologized that the meat is usually dumped in the bowl first and then the broth. You should be cooking and simmering your soup with all ingredients in it. Nothing was taken off the bill and it was very disappointing.

    Overall it was a nice experience, the food was very good, we were a party of 3 & my one negative comment would be the inconsistency, the appetizer was a spinach, sun dried tomato dip in a cast iron skillet and was barely warm. Our main entree's, 2 were piping hot with steam coming off them and 1 was a ravioli and warm. I would come again as the service was wonderful and the ambiance was very nice, but would like to see you work on consistency. The live music was a nice touch, not loud but very entertaining for background.

    Waitress did not mention specials. Menu descriptions incorrect. Food came out not as described. I ordered an expensive fish dish over risotto. This was supposed to be in a spicy tomato broth. Came out with chicken broth and a layer of butter on top. Sent it back. Got it with tomato broth and cream stirred into my previous dish. Risotto mixed in like soup. Menu description did not include cream. Thousands of excuses from staff that they have a new menu the chef doesn’t know how to make. Comped me a glass of wine. Never again! Too expensive for poor cooking and poor service.

    We waited 25 minutes to get severed other table that came after us were served before us.The waitress only handed us the food the hostess took our order the waitress only spoke with us one time and it was my girlfriends birthday never celebrated. I’m a police officer and I will not be coming back.
