   Delicious as always! McLoone's is my go-to spot for good food and good atmosphere. This time our group ordered the salmon, crab cakes, and steak frites which were all wonderful. Our server, Sabrina, was a delight and very helpful with our orders. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

   So sad to see this beautiful restaurant getting worse and worse. Table wasn’t ready, we were seated without silverware and plates (which still didn’t come when our appetizers were served), server forgot to put in one of our apps, server forgot to tell us one of our selections was unavailable so everybody else’s food dried out under the heating lamp, server didn’t bus tables and then the icing on the cake was that they had no to-go containers. They lost 5 customers from this experience.

   I reserved a table for 2 and requested an outdoor table. Despite there being many open outdoor tables the three girls standing at the front told us they were all dirty (1 or 2 glasses on each table) as if cleaning a table was not something any of them could accomplish in 20 seconds. It was a bizarre conversation. This was at 5:05 - were the tables dirty from lunch? We waited a moment to check out the patio where we were told we could wait on ourselves by ordering from the bar. We decided to check back with the 3 girls still standing doing nothing at front desk. Nope the tables were still dirty but they could seat us inside. I don’t want a problem so we agreed to eat inside and we were seated in a huge dining room by ourselves - right out the window - plenty of clean empty tables! Im not sure what the actual reason was but don’t tell me there are no clean tables when clearly there are clean tables. So bizarre. The server was pleasant and responsive and did a good job. The food was fine - no complaints but nothing special. We came for the atmosphere/ view and didn’t get it for some reason so won’t be back.

   We were at Mccloones for Mother’s Day everything went really well the seating was arranged great for having space especially since we’re still in the age of Covid our waitress was personable and attentive to all of our needs . My Mother had a Great Dinner and was Very Happy!

    Food was great and atmosphere. Took 25 mins for a waiter to even stop by to start even a water service. I was there 2 hours 30 minutes for lunch . It was not acceptable to wait for apps or main dish and waiting for dessert was even worse. I will go back bc of the views and food but service level was sub par ! 1st time at this location would be last if not for views !

    Awful, just awful. Poorly managed, staff doesn’t know what they are doing, food runners came to our table 4 times with other peoples orders. It was horrible service. Ordered a drink I never received. I walked up to the bar myself to get it. Staff was talking about how the place sucks, how others don’t show up for work. Food was mediocre and very expensive for what you get. Waiting 40 minutes to place drink order, another 30 minutes to get drinks and over an hour to get food. It was the worst service and poorly managed restaurant I have ever been too. What a shame, they have a great spot and it’s just a mess.

    we enjoyed our brunch on Sunday. our server was very good. only problem we had was we ordered bloody Marys and the celery was pretty close to dead and should have been served. it did not look good.

    It seemed they were super overwhelmed with capacity. Our dinner was re-heated because it sat so long, tell tale was how hot the dishes were and the food was super dried out, it took an hour for food to come out from when we ordered. Service was slow, apps came out before cocktails! The poor staff, they appeared to have not been trained? Or there just wasn’t enough support staff? Either way, very expensive for what was delivered. Not a go back.

    Really nice place. My Aunt ordered the crab cakes and they were not good at all and they looked unappetizing as well. Our server was great, attentive, and very nice. I had the Halibut, my sister had the Shrimp and Grits, both of those dishes were delicious. Will be back for those two options.

    This was the first time dining at McLoone’s Boathouse and I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our server, Dashai, was just lovely. Was knowledgeable about the menu and gave her honest opinion when asked. The food was scrumptious and we will be back again as soon as possible.

    My experience with BoatHouse was exceptional! My server and service was outstanding. I got the Penne Special and it was the perfect recommendation from my waiter. I can't remember his name but he was so wonderful.

    It took us a long while to have someone take our drink order in the bar area, after being told the bar was closed for construction. No construction occurring, assume other reasons. Asked for a table near window, and was brought to a crammed table where we asked to move due to the lady next door with her chair pushed out. Service started out excellent, but then had to wait for water refills , for drink refills, and waited a while to get the check. Very frustrating to pay a good amount of money and not have top notch service!

    Where do I begin. I had a 2 o’clock reservation on Sunday for lunch, I requested a table by the window & was told that that might not be available, I was OK with that. When we arrived we waited 20 minutes before being seated telling us the table had to be cleared. When they sat us down they put us at a table by a wall where the ones by the windows were empty. I didn’t request it again to sit by the window and only then we will know. When I made the reservation if I was informed that they would be multiple parties in the main dining room (80th birthday party, 30th birthday party, bridal gathering of a dozen people, and then in the middle of the main dining room was a table for 15 people with kids for brunch). Needless to say the noice volume was intense. The staff was hovering over the area by the computer with lack of attention to the patrons. Our waitress was very good and as attentive as she could be but she was taking care of all those parties. The icing on the cake was when my son found a hair in his food. At that point we just wanted to get out of there. I asked for the check first and then showed the waitress the hair on his plate. The item was deducted from the check & i am glad, however too many things went wrong. I have been to this location (along with your Asbury location) many times, most recently for brunch to weeks prior & was happy. This just felt like we were invading some else’s party instead of being a customer of your restaurant. I know you have private rooms for such occasions & maybe if it being spilled over to the main dining room you should let your customer know about it so that they can decide if they want to be part of other people celebration & to a private lunch for 3.

    Although I like the ambiance of the restaurant with the fireplace and the rustic feel there is a lot of room for improvement. They took at least 15 minutes to seat us even tho we had a reservation. Service was a bit slow outside and seemed to be focused on larger groups. The food was very bland and could use the biggest improvement. I had asked if the chef could make a bit of gluten free pasta, which they did accommodate in a great way...that dish was the most flavorful of the brunch. The thing that was disappointing was that they wouldn't let me take it home. There was so much left and I don't like to waste food. That was the only thing I wanted to take home and was told I wasn't allowed. I understand some people take advantage but its such a sin to waste food for no reason. It would be nice for them to also include more gluten free options as far as pancakes, waffles, toast, desserts...its a big community of us out there and many brunch locations are more inclusive of our needs. For me to spend over $70 on brunch I should be over the moon with the flavor of the food. Yes I did have 2 drinks, but still.

    The baked chicken dinner dish and the french fries that came with the burgers were extremely salty - we had to send them back. I would suggest not using finishing salt - your customers diet need vary . Everything else was good.

    Chaotic. We had reservation. We’re taken to a table that wasn’t cleared and then just left standing in middle of dining room for 5 minutes. A manager finally cleared the table to seat us but gave us no menus. When we ordered we said we had an hour and ordered only drink and apps. One hour after seating our apps arrived. Very disappointing bc it’s a nice spot and space. I’m sure they are short-staffed like the rest of the world and I felt bad for the waitress. Seemed it was a kitchen issue. I just wouldn’t recommend going if you have a time constraint. Food (which we had to take to go) was fine. Hard to judge after travel time.

    We dined after a day at the turtle back zoo, 2 adults and 2 kids. The restaurant is beautiful. Our waitress was good and for the most part attentive. The portions were small and the food was slow to arrive but we didn’t mind as we were not in a hurry and it was nice to not feel rushed. The food is just okay, nothing spectacular. For the price, I don’t think we will be back.

    seemed EVERYONE had 5pm reservations and everyone had to wait, it was fine once we saw that the brunch was still being cleaned up. Waited a very long time for even drinks, then longer for our actual food. We were there 2 hours. It was very loud. Waitstaff were all very friendly and helpful. Some people were there longer than us and had small children so we felt bad for them. Understanding that it was a holiday and restaurants are all short staffed. Overall very good. Will give it another chance. Food was excellent.

    Went there for Easter brunch and it was horrible. If I would have known it was a Buffet I would have never went. It did not say anywhere on their website. Food was cold, they did not have enough food to accommodate the amount of people. I went up to the carving station twice and they only had the end pieces, how could that be after 20 minutes. Also Went up for the crab cakes 3 times and it was always empty. Service was horrible, we had 7 people and we ordered drinks from the bar which took forever and they would come with 2 drinks at a time. We had to clear the table off ourselves to accommodate another serving as the waitstaff stood by the kitchen door. For the amount of money they charged I would never do a buffet brunch there again.

    This spot has all the pieces to be a 10/10 restaurant but somehow doesn’t make the mark. The food was just meh but the service was outstanding. I wish I remembered my server’s name because she was flawless. They also have mezcal which gave them bonus points. My final verdict would be to try it. I’ve dined here other times and the food was better.
