High Tea is available any day provided that we have a minimum of 24 hours notice. Each high tea comes with; 5 finger sandwiches (varies regularly) Scone with lemon curd, jam and Devonshire And three desserts, (may vary depending on availability) bread pudding, brownie, lemon tart, vanilla cake with ganache, nanaimo square, and more. Each person also has a choice of tea or coffee and a glass of Prosecco.

It took me 3 tries to finally make a reservation. Then it didn’t allow me to make a change. I would prefer to make a personal booking. Upstairs didn’t have anything interesting to buy at this time. But I do love to go there!!!

Food was delicious, and spinach apple salad with cinnamon in dressing was a wonderful suprise for unique flavor! Portions were large, hamburger was fresh made patty, home cut fries!. Value is more than you pay! Service was friendly, accurate and.fast. Scone and Brownie were delicious,.but had to have it to go! Had no room after the main meal. Looking forward to next visit.

We were expevting thinly sliced poatoes fried crisp like we hag om tje. Instead we got luke warm fries which we could mot eat Tjey also wete not cooked long emough

Overall we enjoyed our experience at McLeod House. However, it was disappointing to hear popular items were not available. This should not happen in a restaurant. My quiche was lukewarm at best and our server was not available for me to send it back to the kitchen. She did not come to our table to enquire how our food was until we were almost finished our meal. It seems there may be an issue in the kitchen. As for the decor and charm of an old house and yard, it needs some tlc. Respectfully submitted Susan.

The service was good. I always enjoy coming to McLeod House for lunch. I was very disappointed in my chicken salad sandwich. The chicken salad was good but the gluten free bread was definitely not good. I have had Celiac since 2000 and have not had such disappointing gluten free bread for many years. I don't know what brand of g/f bread you purchase, but there are many choices that are much better than the brand you have. My favourites are O'Dough, which Family Food sells, and Joe's Cheese Bread, which Meyers Pharmacy sells. I sincerely hope you start serving much better gluten free bread in the near future. Thank you for serving gluten free French fries, which I am sure you cook in a dedicated fryer.

I’ve enjoyed a variety of experiences at McLeod House, but this was our first time having High Tea! At first the 3tiered sandwich & dainty tray looked sparse for 4 people, but that is definitely not true! The assorted unique sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, jam & lemon curd!, and assorted dainties were tasty & beautiful. And we couldn’t finish everything! Service was excellent. We’ll be back.

Second time I’ve come for high tea and it’s always so lovely. Tea is great. Food is great and the Prosecco is a great touch. Fantastic price too! We will be back
