Permanently Closed - McKinney Roe

Ummmm it didn’t exist when we got there and we were stranded in the freezing cold. Not open tables fault. Super lame on the restaurants fault.

The place was closed!!! On my valentines date!!!! Why would you want to send me this?!?!?!?

McKinney Roe is CLOSED! We should have never been able to reserve a table there - especially on Valentines Day! It was quite a surprise when we arrived there that evening to find closed doors and a dark restaurant. Granted, McKinney Roe had just closed that week, but someone should have called us to let us know that our reservation no longer existed because the restaurant no longer existed! My husband and I scrambled and ended up eating at another lovely restaurant nearby, but definitely not a great experience with Open Table or Mckinney Roe.

IT WAS CLOSED - Why would open table let you make a reservation of a restaurant that is not open???

It has been out of business for more than 3 weeks. Open table should update its listings!!!!!

This restaurant permanently closed on January 22nd. They obviously didn’t let open table or other reservation sites know they were closing. Their website is also still active. It was very disappointing to get there to a closed establishment.

This place had closed and Open Table apparently had know idea. Very dissatisfied.

Um ... we arrived for our dinner reservation yesterday to find that this place is permanently closed, so ... WTH?

Everything was great!

One of our favorite Minneapolis restaurants. Great food and terrific service.

Limited offerings on the bar side and bartender was not very knowledgeable. The bar was out of several liquors that I wanted which is strange for a Friday night.

Service was ok but nothing outstanding. Food was good but nothing that would make me want to come back again.

Great place right down the street from the USBank Stadium. We went there before the Prep Bowl and our wait staff was very pleasant and responsive. The food was good and the ambience was noisy but energetic. They take reservations through Open Table so we were able to make reservations and get in right away. Enjoyed the experience and will definitely go again.

Our server was very friendly and the food tasted great.

Enjoyed our drinks and meal prior to the Vikings game At McKinney Roe. Our server, Alyssa, was amazing! We were a table of eight and she handled the various comings and goings at our busy table with wit and humor. Many of the breakfast options were delicious (corn beef hash, breakfast sandwich) but my salad (Brussels, cauliflower) was just ok. Loved the live music and the group Skol chant :)

They were understaffed, took forever to see our waitress, then I had to flag her down to put in our food order, then had to flag her down again for more drinks... I had to go to the bar myself when my drink was made incorrectly.

There was an event at the Armory, I would have thought they’d be better prepared for the crowd.

Incredible food - loved the shrimp risotto and wine selection. That said, the service was horrible. We had to ask for water 3x before it was delivered, ask for a second glass of wine, ask for silverware and we sat for over 20 minutes before our waiter came over.

I would highly recommend the shrimp risotto! Great, attentive service!

Super busy because of Vikings game but staff was awesome and food was terrific.

Our first time visiting here. Went before a Vikings game, super busy, glad we had reservations! The live music was fun! My husband’s steak sandwich was the best he’s ever had (and he’s had plenty! 🤣). Service was a bit slow, but I’m sure it’s due to a game night.

The food and atmosphere is great before an event and just a casual night for dinner. Love the bar area. It's very energetic on game days, but just the right amount of lively on other nights. Service has been GREAT!!! Even when they are super busy!

Yes, the service was outstanding, the manager (Niles) has a good team and everything appears well run.

I had a party of four and was a little disappointed to be seated on the balcony level, because the main floor seemed full of energy and beautiful. I was delighted to see so many gluten free options on the menu, though, and the food was really good. Will definitely be back!

Great location for concert at Armory, service level was sub-par, food is tasty.

Reservations for 6:15, seated at 6:40. We were on time for our reservations. What's the point of a reservation if you have to wait 25 minutes? Once we were seated it was 20 minutes until our server acknowledged us.

I had the salmon and it was well prepared with a wonderful chutney!

Been here multiple times. Nice location and always good food. Wednesday evening and they were short handed for sure on the staff. Could see only a couple wait staff had way too many tables so took long for drinks etc. Food is always quality and drinks are well made and average price considering location. Their potato salad is underrated. It is super good. Skip the fries and get the potato salad. Some of the finest in the city.

Great waitress, excellent tasting food. Very accommodating staff and management. Good live music.
