McKendrick's Steakhouse - Perimeter Center Ratings and Reviews
This restaurant is just outstanding and the food and deserts are to die for. There is just not enough words to describe how great this place is. The waiters/waitresses are great. Noise level is excellent. This place is perfect for any occasion or just to go out in general. This is the best restaurant in all of atlanta.
This was a business meeting celebrating the successful closing of a property I own. We were seated at a cozy booth. The drinks were good. The crab cakes were served as an appetizer. Delicious. I as verydisappointed in the main course. My steak was over cooked and the ends were burnt. The sea bass was very average at best. Because we were with guests we didn’t send the sea bass back but I have had much better at other Restaurants. I am not sure I would run back because it appears to be overrated.
As always, McKendrick's shines for Thanksgiving. We took a year off to try some place else, and that was a mistake. Oh how we missed it! While it did not seem as busy as past years, the restaurant was still full. Even then, service was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The prime rib a friend and I ordered was a massive, on the bone slab. If I had to guess, I'd say it was easily two and a half pounds and worth the price. While we had no problems with our food, I did notice that a gentleman at a table next to us had to send his order back because it was undercooked. If I saw correctly, they just cooked a whole new steak for him. Definitely what you would expect from a top notch restaurant, as opposed to "finishing" the original. All in all, a great experience, and can't wait to go back!
Fine dining, we were seated right away. Everything was very good, I had the tuna and my husband had the salmon - both excellent dishes. We had the turtle pie for dessert, the coffee ice cream flavor was a little over powering for me, but my husband loved it. The staff was great, keeping mindful of our water (and wine) glasses. It is definitely a place we'll visit again.
The service was stellar, the food was very good, it was too loud to hear what the person across from me was saying and we were at a 4-top, I can't imagine how isolated the conversation would have been in a table any larger. Definitely the men's business dinner scene.
Food was very good. My only complaint was that when the server told me about the surf & turf special, she didn't mention that it had a bernaise sauce on it (I hate bernaise!). So when it came I scraped off as much as I could and just ate it. I wish they had other steak sauce options other than A1.
