McKendrick's Steakhouse - Perimeter Center Ratings and Reviews
Fantastic food with great size portions-We both took home left overs. The service was top notch & the menu had a nice variety. Neither my wife nor I we're disappointed with our steaks or sides. This is a special occasion place for us (date night). It is pricy but you get what you pay for here. We were able to easily converse without fighting background noise. Highly recommended for special occasions!
Every time we have dined st McKendrick’s the service and food has been superb. This time, the service was good but a bit distracted. My friend ordered the chocolate pecan pie and asked for it to be warm. It was brought to the table fresh from the refrigerator. She asked for it to be warmed. It was brought back and had been left in the microwave too long and the first bite burned the roof of her mouth. She did not complain about it to our server.
Well...went from 7 out of 10 to 5 out of 10 at best. Attention to detail has gone down. Sides came out cold and over seasoned. Touch too much of chillie pepper in the macaroni and cheese and all greens were much oversalted. Meats were 7 out of 10. Do try Pampas to compare. It's close to perfection.
We had a fabulous dinner and the service was very attentive. Steaks were cooked perfectly to the temperature we all four ordered. The spinach salad is very nice. Some of the side items are a little pricey for what you get. They asked if we wanted coffee but never asked about dessert. We thought that was strange; but we were full anyway.
The food was excellent and the filet mignon delicious as always. We were a little disappointed with the desert (chocolate cake with salted caramel drip): it was very cold and far too hard and we had to borrow a knife to cut it. When we took the leftovers home, my sister let it sit out for an hour and it was perfect.
We were greeted with grate enthusiasm by Mark, who continued to check on us throughout our meal. Our waiter, Mark , was fabulous. A real professional!
Meeting & speaking with the Chef 👨🍳 was a highlight. His expertise transcended every item we consumed.
The only downside was not being wealthy enough to be able to eat there every night!!!
Steaks, which were the main draw for us, were fabulous. The liquor and wine selection were terrific as well. Seating, service and ambience were also very good. On the other hand, the side dishes were marginal. The French onion soup was too charred tasting, the Caesar salad was iffy, and the mac and cheese was boring.
Went for my husband's birthday. We had a group of 12. Our numbers changed in the days leading up to our dinner and Mc Kendricks was very gracious in dealing with our changes. I asked for a private area and ended up in the private room for no extra charge. The food is always amazing and the service was outstanding. I Highly recommend Mc Kendricks.
Food was excellent as usual, steaks cooked to order sides really well done, and the service was really good. My only disappointment are cocktails. For the price of a scotch on the rocks the size of the glass and pour was disappointing. Other competitors pour a much better drink for less price.
Don't waste your time looking at the Menu, just ask Mike The Waiter to order for you!!!
Perfect suggestions and choice h made from the beginning to the end...... my customers
were most impressed!!! Best Steak I have ever had and service was typical outstanding
The food is always fabulous and service is outstanding. We took friends this time and had raved about the fried lobster tail for weeks prior. Our server came to the table well after we had all ordered lobster and informed us that they were out. That was a real bummer. Dinner was still spectacular, but the no lobster thing was a huge let down.
This restaurant is just outstanding and the food and deserts are to die for. There is just not enough words to describe how great this place is. The waiters/waitresses are great. Noise level is excellent. This place is perfect for any occasion or just to go out in general. This is the best restaurant in all of atlanta.
