McKendrick’s absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the African Lobster Tail to the Ribeye and the creamed spinach, everything was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was one of sophistication and romance. It was a beautiful restaurant coupled with outstanding service. My water glass was never halfway empty! I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice date.
Excellent food - probably one of the better steakhouses in Atlanta.
So not impressed! We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday. We eat at a lot of great steakhouses so we thought we'd try this one since we haven't been here in a couple of years. So disappointed. To begin with, the shrimp cocktail and crab app was fine. All of our steaks came out barely warm and flavorless and had to be sent back. My husband's NY Strip was pretty good, but the filets were flavorless. The waiter assured us that he would heat the filets up but not cook them anymore than what they were already cooked. Great! Not! He brought them back and they were still terrible. I could've gotten a better filet at Outback for a fraction of the cost. The waiter recommended the brussel sprouts that tasted like bacon fat and the asparagus that we ordered tasted like nothing more than steamed asparagus that you would make at home....bland and no seasoning. We literally spent $500 and had one of the most unsatisfying meals. I will never go back. Also, for a steak house where you spend $500 you would think people would dress a little nicer than a t-shirt and jeans.
Food, ambiance and service was very good, my only quibble is the size of the drink glasses, very small in terms of quantity. I've eaten and many of the steakhouses in Atlanta, and by far they had the smallest cocktail glasses.
Excellent Valentines Dinner with my wife. The staff went all out to make this a night we will never forget. A BIG thanks to everyone at McKendrick’s!
We love McKendrick's! Went for Valentine's Day and had a wonderful meal. I splurged and has steak and lobster tail. Fantastic meal. We love the fact that the throw their steaks on a 1700 degree broiler for a few seconds on each side to sear in the juices/flavor before cooking it on regular broiler. Makes for a much better steak.
Outstanding! Valentine's Day date with my husband. My husband had the bone in ribeye which was fabulous and I had the Scottish salmon absolutely amazing.
Food and service was great, chef was a little heavy with salt on steak and truffle fries.
Large portions so chose carefully. You will be delighted with the flavors and outstanding service.
Fantastic all the way around!
