    This was probably the best restaurant we ate at on our vacation in terms of food and service. I would consider it on the finer side of dining without the need to completely dress us. I still wore jeans and a nice top, but my kids wore shorts. The service was top notch. My kids ordered the Mac and cheese, but they weren’t a fan of it being finished off in a broiler. I never said anything. I was capable of picking off the tiny little burned pieces, but as the chef was making his rounds he noticed the kids weren’t eating it and asked what was wrong. When they told him he completely remade the mac and cheese and made it creamy with no burned pieces. My kids were so thrilled. When we left they hugged the chef. Lol. That kind of attention isn’t typically given to kiddos when we go out, and I really appreciated it. I also had the best huckleberry margarita, and my oldest son and I split the bone in rib eye. It was AMAZING!

    I'm sorry to say, food was actually terrible. We ordered 2 appetizers, salad & drinks. Salad might of been good and fresh a day or 2 earlier. Appetizers were not good; shrimp w/chorizo and wild mushroom & onions, the huckleberry mojito was not good as well. We ate 1/2 of what we ordered paid our bill and left. So disappointing the food DID NOT equal the price. I would suggest to try another restaurant.

    Very disappointing, especially for the price. We are staying at the ranch and hoped we could eat at McGills a few times during our stay for convenience. We won’t be back. My husband had been wanting to try Elk steak and decided to splurge when he saw it in the menu ($65). He took a few bites and couldn’t even stomach it the smell was so horrendous. Very gamey smelling. He hunts and eats wild game regularly. I had the macaroni and cheese and added the brisket. Very small amount of brisket and it was just okay. My son had the chicken sandwich and fries and said his was just okay as well.

    Such an awesome place! I had the Bison New York strip and it was delicious! Loved the atmosphere. Old log cabin that was in perfect condition and clean. Highly recommend.

    We picked this place because of the location and atmosphere. But the menu on their website was very out of date. When we arrived they only had a limited menu. They weren’t serving what we drove and hour for. The food and drink that we did end up getting was poorly made and mediocre. I would have rather stayed in, and saved $120 on a dinner for 2. Five star location and atmosphere, two star food.

    We were staying at the 320 Ranch and did not want to drive for dinner. We ate there the 3 nights during our stay. The bison burger was ordered 2 times was was delicious. They had a special beet grapefruit salad. The 1st night we had it it had pistachios but the 2nd night it did not. It still was very good. The trout fish cakes were delicious.

    What a hidden gem! The food was absolutely amazing and what a beautiful setting. We had the Bison Tenderloin and Gallatin Cowboy Ribeye. We also had the 320 Game and Mushrooms which we highly recommend. It was about a 15 minute drive but it was a beautiful ride. We saw lots of wildlife along the way. A must do if you are in Big Sky. One of the best restaurants we ate at all week.

    Great food at 40% less than similar restaurants in Big Sky. Rustic gourmet dishes are served in a no frills warm Montana rustic cabin. Definitely worth the drive. Service is very good without being pushy or trying to up-sale. We go back every year.

    Very nice restaurant to visit, even if you’re not lodging on site. Staff was very nice and friendly. Food was so delicious!! We ordered the salmon, bone-in ribeye and steak frites. Compliments to the chefs for the wonderful flavors in each meal.

    Been coming here for 20 years and it will likely be my last. Pricing themselves out of the market. Limited menu choice. Drank water and bill was $105. Sad day for me to leave 320 Ranch

    The food here is always great! I don’t know if this is new, but now you have to pay extra for sides which I don’t remember doing before. Without a side or an appetizer I think we would have left hungry. They had country music playing pretty loud which wasn’t so great for a nice relaxing dinner but the food and service made up for it! They didn’t acknowledge our anniversary which would have been nice since there’s a spot to indicate a special occasion when you make the reservation but not a big deal. Overall a lovely meal!
