   Good experience, except some issues about modifying the reservation. The owner was upset about that, telling us it was costing money to the restaurant each time we modified the reservation.

   The service was great at McGarry's. After receiving our entres, the chef personally came over and filled out water glasses. Everyone was very friendly. Great atmosphere.

   We have been to McGarry's twice and equally impressed each time. Very welcoming, friendly atmosphere, excellent service and the food is outstanding. If morels are in season, the morel mushroom sauté is a must.

   Fantastic food and service. The chef-owners are friendly and always available when we have been there. They greet you like old friends and are happy to see you. We have been enjoying top-notch meals at McGarry's for over a decade and since we are locals, enjoy the off-season when less busy. The halibut is fantastic when available. A nice blend of Pacific Northwest and local Montana ingredients. At our most recent visit we had the morel mushrooms which were divine. The Vietnamese spider appetizer is a favorite that I order every time and Sandy's lemon drop martinis are the best. McGarry's is one of my favorite restaurants in the Flathead Valley!

   Our meals were both terrific! We had been here a few years ago, and were not impressed, so we were very pleasantly surprised by how great the food was. We had crab cakes, hanger steak and fish and chips - all excellent. Our server was very attentive and made us feel welcome.

   A little disappointed this time. The service is still great but my entrée was truly not up to the normal standards. I wanted something a little on the lighter side so I ordered the steak Cesar salad. My steak was over cooked, and the greens were dripping in dressing. I will not give up dining here. I will however be very careful about ordering in the future. The owner was not cooking this night and perhaps that was the problem. The hanger steak my husband ordered was great! So there is some inconsistency.

   The food at McGarry was delicious. We went for the morels, chicken and pork chop. All locally sourced and paired with a nice Pinot noir. Can highly recommend McGarry for tourists who want a good local taste or for more formal occasions. The service was outstanding.
