   Great experience. We got to seat a bit earlier than our reservation, and our server was super nice and explained everything well. We got the afternoon tea set and the savoury along with scones were great. The sweets portion was a bit sweet for our liking, but the spiced cake was good.

   We are from the U S and we always go to McFarland house whenever we visit the area. It is the highlight of our trip.

   Very pretty spot. The food was okay. The service was not very attentive and slow. I would go back as it is a very relaxing and nice location. We really enjoyed the tea. I had Niagara Peach which was very delicious.

   Such a beautiful site for high tea! The food was delicious. We really enjoyed it. The tea selection was tremendous! Something for everyone. The wait staff was not great, to be honest. Our waitress didn’t seem to want to be there and asking for her help seemed like she took offense to it.

   The room was lovely with greenery surrounding like sitting in a greenhouse. We did the cream tea and lunch option with sandwich and salad. The food was tasteless - sandwich with salad - tiniest sandwich, dry and littlest amount of turkey. The scone was tasty although only 1 offered with tea for $13 is not great value. We left hungry afterwards and needed to get pizza somewhere. The tea served in clear steeping pots - jars looked cloudy and dirty and didn’t match ambiance of the tea cups. Would have been nicer if tea served in tea pots.

    Such a great place for high tea with great friends! Cannot wait to return - looking forward to Christmas time there! Staff outstanding service and knowledge of tea etc.
