Met friends at McCray’s for lunch. One person in wheel chair requested booth, and McCray’s was very accompanying. Our server Dave was patient as we chatted before ordering. I had shrimp and grits which was very good. One friend had French toast with bananas, who said it was the best she’s had. Would definitely go again.
Great place. New Servers are getting better but still a good place for dinner and some drinks.
Birthday dinner, drinks and trivia. Food was good with lots of choices.
We had a great experience! The food was good and reasonably priced, and our server Kaila was exceptional! We will definitely be back!
Went for Sunday brunch. The hostess was terrific and had a great sense of humor. Our waitress was also wonderful and kept us apprised of how long it would be to get our food. The food was outstanding! My husband had the French toast and I had the “sandwich” with bacon, egg, and pimento cheese, and of course a mimosa. Everything was fantastic and felt like a good value for the amount and quality of food.
I’d recommend steering away from the steak options. They were really mediocre. This or more of a burger/bar food place in my opinion.
We were there when an ATL United game was on and it was SO LOUD. Like the kind of loud you couldn’t even enjoy a conversation. Even after the game was over, they didn’t turn down the volume. Not what we were looking for.
The food was just okay. Super salty, not anything to rave about. The menu looks good but both times we have been there have been disappointing, especially for the price. I don’t think we will be back.
We really appreciate you taking the time to share a little bit about your experience. Hearing from our guests is the best way for us to continue to learn and grow in the future. We hope you will join us again soon at McCray’s!
Had a fun night out with friends & enjoyed the food and watching soccer & baseball games while we were eating! Great “Go To” spot for a night out!
Thank you so much for visiting us! We are thrilled to hear you had a great dining experience and do invite you out again soon.
Fantastic food and awesome bourbon menu. Fun atmosphere and family friendly.
Thanks so much for the support! We're glad to hear it was a hit.
Service was great. Dinner was delicious— salads, French dip, chicken sandwich, impossible burger. Great atmosphere!
Nice new find close to the house. There were A LOT of kids literally running around the restaurant unattended by adults. I felt sorry for the staff having to dodge them all. I would suggest going after 8pm to avoid the kids. Food and service were good though.
Food is very nice. Salmon Bacon BLT delish. Always nice and staff pleasant.
Need new wait staff. Completely undermanned and need help with quality servers.
Good food, good bar selection. Typical bar/tavern setting.
GREAT french fries, onion rings and sweet potato fries. Hamburgers are very good. 'Great addition to the neighborhood. Will frequent it often.
Mostly good, had to ask for another set up when someone joined us, liked that our server honestly told us items she preferred, although she didn't know that one of my favorite things had been taken off the menu (burrata), but the biggest thing is that she leaned on the table and just in general was way too close - especially in a pandemic. My husband really didn't like that.
Great food, great ambiance, great staff (hostess could use a pep talk, we expected a more friendlier personality at the door) but other than that- amazing! Thank you!!!
Great service for Sunday Brunch, and better than expected food. Will definitely go again!
The restaurant ambiance is great! I love the decor. It wasn't overly loud and we had a nice large booth.
The menu is great and the food was good. The problem was the service. The waittress arrived at our table when 2 out of 3 were in the restroom. Upon their return, we waited over 10 minutes for her to come back. We ordered drinks which took at least another 10 minutes, but it could have been 15. then she brought 2 out of 3 drinks (in her hand - no tray) and we waited again for drink #3. We ordered as soon as she came back because we didn't know when we'd see her again. Food came out relatively on time but waittress didn't come back to check on us until we were just about finished eating. We all would have ordered another drink.
The restaurant was NOT busy. We felt like the young waittress was goofing around and texting or something. She was NOT attentive and her tip indicated that. I hope she learns!
Was seated promptly but waited nearly 15 minutes for server. Seemed to be overwhelmed, not visible on floor for long periods. Long time to deliver drinks. Same with appetizers - which were delivered twice - and were charged twice. Two hours total from seating to paying the bill
Any place that has a big a$$ pretzel as an appetizer is a winner for us! Great food & great service. TVs always have many different sporting events on. Great place for a gathering or a date night. Prices are reasonable and the portions are perfect.
We enjoyed our night out there. The Onion Rings were undercooked, otherwise food was good.
I ordered the Steak Frites. They were easy but ice cold. The fries were so cold I couldn't eat them. My husband ordered the French Dip and sweet potato fries. His food was also cold. No need to stay for dessert after such a disappointing dinner. Server was okay but not great. I had to ask for a wine refill as he never noticed it was empty. My husband had a Guinness and said it was flat so he didn't even want a refill. We won't be back.
Great pub food. Best I’ve had in East Cobb. Wide range of dishes. The Scottish Salmon was terrific, with garlic green beans and sweet potato fries. Fish and chips were good too. Nice selection of beer and whiskey. I’ll be back.
Food was excellent, a little expensive for what you get though. Service was friendly but a little slow. Took quite a while for the food to arrive and we were looking for our server when we were trying to pay and leave. A little loud but we’re getting older.
Thank you for joining us at McCray's and taking the time to leave us this feedback. Hearing from our guests is the best way for us to learn and grow in the future. We hope to see you again soon!
Great sweet potatovaries and burgers. Was a bit too loud. Staff nice. Good to have in the area.
Gigi, thanks for dining with us at McCray's and sharing a bit about your experience! We hope to welcome you back again soon.
First time there and will go again. Fried Avocade Tacos delish! the server was so nice. Nothing fancy and pricy for a few items, but overall, a great neighborhood addition.
Thank you for the thoughtful feedback, Gigi! We're glad to hear everything was such a hit and look forward to your return.
Good, basic food at reasonable prices. Service was friendly and adequate, but not great. Overall, it would've been a much more enjoyable experience if it wasn't so damn loud in the place. The concrete/wood and metal surfaces look trendy, but they magnify the sound--hard to have a conversation unless you're seated in the booths, and even then it's a chore. So if you know what you're walking into and you're OK with it, this is a good place for a relatively quick and good meal and drink. But if you're going on a weekend night and looking to talk to each other, be ready to talk LOUDLY.
Great overall experience as usual - we'll be back again for sure!
Varied menu. Good portions and nice beer selection.
Great neighborhood pub atmosphere.
Great neighborhood restaurant! Always enjoy the atmosphere. Great food quality.
Meh. My wife got the Steak Frites; it came without the Bernaise sauce without explanation and was tough and fatty. I had the fish and chips, which was good and cooked properly, although the batter was somewhat bland. I was also brought a different beer than I had ordered. The service was slow so by the time the manager offered to fix everything, we had been sitting there for some time and were just ready to leave. We won’t be back.
The menu is varied, with something for everyone. Starting with the House Drink, which is excellent, you can go on to good starters with a nice range of choices. Burgers and sandwiches are well made, and quite filling. Platters are equally good. Great place for casual dining.
Great service. Much better than the one in Smyrna. But $15 for the Tony Rigatoni is a little high. Overall, the experience at the East Cobb location is great.
Great food! Great selection and Lots of televisions!
We had six of us. 5 of us got our food 20 mins before my brother. My sister in law got a salad with chicken that was undercooked and then they gave her shrimp to replace it which was undercooked as well. Then, they took $1.50 off of my brothers meal which arrived so late after they messed it up. If you’re not going to take that off of the bill , than just charge us the full price. I’ve never hear of someone taking $1.50 off of a food item. We won’t be back
East west gin cocktail is fabulous but should be $10 not $12
Nice sports bar
Good food and service
Indoor and Outdoor dining
Games area for kids
