Nice option if you want seafood and want to stay in Beaverton.
All time is always good
The food was mediocre and expensive. We believe we may have been cheated out of $30. The bill was $57. My husband tried to pay with a $50 gift certificate and a credit card. First they ADDED $6+ ringing up his card for $63. When he complained, they charged the credit card for $37, giving him only $20 on the card. He was reasonably sure had $50 on it. He didn't want to argue so we left.
Excellent service and food
Overall, an average experience! My Bourbon Glazed Salmon was certainly fresh (a basic requirement for a restaurant specializing in seafood); but, all the elements of the dish were otherwise uninspired: The bourbon glaze could have been called "sweet caramel," very average mashed potatoes, and tasteless sautéed spinach topped by a few sliced tomatoes. This is a dish that could have been served by convention hotel catering for hundreds of people. Decor is straight out of the 50s or 60s and needs to be seriously refreshed.
Food and Service were both good. First time having swordfish and I was very happy with it. Waiter was also great and took good care of us. This location does need some updating for sure, the bathroom needs updating to start.
The server was good and attentive, but the food quality was not very good. I prefer the Red Lobster restaurant myself. A lot better food for the price!
One of the best places around for excellent fish and shellfish dishes. Prices sometimes seem a bit on the high side, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Good wine selections and bar drinks as well. All in all a consistently good dining experience.
Fantastic food, drink creativity, quiet corner of needed, great staff, close to home
Our server was the best. The overall experience was great.
The building seemed cold. It may be better when the weather is warmer. Waiter was attentive and experienced. Steaks were under cooked. Request one level up from normal: if you normally order medium well, request well and medium rare, request medium well. Unless they got the message from us and now cook cuts longer.
We come here every year to celebrate our anniversary . Food was amazing ! The service was great too.
Lovely view, great wine list, excellent soups, scrumptious entrees
Great food and service, friendly staff. We recommend the Ultimate platter with the crab cake cuz it is GOOD. Loved the salads.
This was my first time at McCormick's. My friend reccomended eating there. The food was excellent. I would love to eat there often but am on a fixed income (senior citizen) so I will only be able to enjoy dining there on a special occasion or one of my children or grandchildren take me.
The food was excellent.
Greeted at door and shown to our table. Wait person, I think his name was Kyle, was
excellent. Food was ample, dessert was delish.
McCormick Fish House is a regular place for us to celebrate and have a nice dinner out. Their service is excellent. The restaurant is cozy. Like the variety on the menu from a broad range of seafood to solid beef choices. The sides are delicious. One never leaves hungry. Although it is a bit pricey, as a occasional choice, it is worth the extra expense.
Waitress way over subscribed , we waited long for everything...water fill not often and no bread/butter served. Appetizer did not have cheese like they said and the chocolate box was not filled with White chocolate mousse but just heavy whipped cream. Disappointed a little....
Excellent place with a variety quality fish prepared uniquely.
Valentines dinner. Food was good, service was good but ambiance was nothing special.
Especially pleased with the quality of the service. It was great!
Consistently excellent! McCormicks never disappoints and the fact that this one is in Beaverton which seems to lack many great restaurants, is a huge bonus.
We had a trainee so were being constantly interrupted. Food was pretty good but very expensive.
Food was excellent , portions were somewhat small, Service was excellent
Wonderful service keeps us coming back. We love seafood and they don’t overcharge for kids food and drinks. Upscale yet family friendly. Specials and staples are always amazing. If it was closer to us, we would be here once a week. Right now we dine about 6 times a year. Definitely recommend and will be back.
Amazing I love it like always
The server we got was friendly at first but after her BOSS DISAPPLINED HER SO LOUDLY the entire restaurant could hear it. She got embarrassed and I don't blame her. NOBODY LIKES TO BE CORRECTED IN PUBLIC. He is sure NOT TRAINED well. I got so STRESSED that we ended up taking the rest of our food home. We were there over an hour and the food was excellent. We NEVER felt rushed BUT we will NEVER BE BACK.
Late night bar. So late, we phoned in our burger’s & arrived in time for a happy hour burger & beer. Great customer service!
Once again we had a spectacular meal with you folks! Love seeing the same faces when we come back. We had the fish and chips, the best around, and believe me, we have tried many places! Not to sound redundant, but the consistency and quality of food we always receive is just wonderful! Thank you! See you soon :)
Birthday dinner - outstanding food & service!
Service was painfully slow and drinks were frequently left empty. Restaurant was not busy - was 7 PM on a Saturday. Steak came out undercooked.
Dined here on New Years' Day. Was not as crowded as expected but that was just fine. Starters and entrees were excellent and service was also! Not inexpensive, but worth the money. We will return.
Server was very nice and accommodating, especially considering it was a holiday. Dinner servings were decent, but dessert portions were definitely pretty large. Get one to share!
Overdue for a renovation. The food was mediocre, at best and definitely not worth the price.
Our waiter was excellent! My water glass was never empty (which never happens!). The food was delicious!
Seafood here is exceptional. We had salmon and scallops, both exquisitely prepared and presented. Wine selection is very good, and our gin martinis were great. Dessert (crepe brûlée and Irish coffee) was superb. Only hiccup was appetizers. We wanted Oysters Rockefeller, but the only option included bacon, which we won’t eat. That’s not a traditional Oysters Rockefeller, but it’s all they could do, so we passed on that course. I was surprised they wouldn’t accommodate a ‘no bacon’ request.
We’ve never been disappointed at McCormick’s. Heather was our server and she was phenomenal! Love the wedge salad!!
When we first arrived it was very quiet and nice. We were almost done before it got crowded. I was very disappointed in the quesadilla. Everything else was good. Thanks it was a memorable 40th anniversary and the service was fabulous.
McCormick’s has been a staple in Beaverton for years & recently has asserted itself as one of the best upscale but casual places on the west side of Portland. The chef & waite staff are excellent & the atmosphere is comfortable & inviting. Our meals were all very good even though they were slammed on Christmas Day.
Was disappointed they didn't serve a Christmas Dinner, like their Thanksgiving dinner. Why are they open on Christmas if they can't serve a Christmas Dinner like other restaurants.
