M & S was very familiar and convenient to a visiting friend's hotel. Unchallenging menu (and that's a good thing!): meat or seafood; no sissy stuff.

After bread and water were presented, we waited about 20 minutes to order a drink. Food was fine, although my sole could have used a spritz of lemon; I would have asked had I seen a waiter while it was still warm.

Tough to find waitperson for the check.

Don't go later in the evening, around 8pm. The service is horrible. I believe our waiter was about to get off and it showed in his attitude and performance. And the cooking of the food seemed rushed as well. Not a good experience at all.

Horrible service. Bad food. Waited over an hour and had to ask our waitress to refill our drinks. She was no where to be seen. Would never go back ever. Horrible experience.

My husband and I were visiting from out of town. We know and love the McCormick & Schmick's brand so we decided to try DC's location. Not to be disappointed. The staff, from the host to the server, was so kind and accommodating. The entire dining experience was such a pleasure.

I had the entree salad with salmon and it was perfect. Salmon was cooked just right which is hard to do but was.

Initial service was good. Food was good. After finishing our meal which was good. But then our waiter was no where to be found. Over 20 min. No show for refresh of drinks, offer deserts etc. watched our waiter serve table of 8-10 repeatedly. Finally flagged down different waiter who provided bill. The restaurant was not busy at all. Very disappointed. Been to many Of this chain in different cities. Never a bad meal or service. Hope management finds this helpful. I almost never give bad reviews.

It was a great site for reconnecting with old friends. The seafood was excellent and we had a good time.

We have always loved this restaurant but my husbands steak was par. He said it was not seasoned the right way. I have the Alaskan crab and it was plain tasting had to use lots of butter for a better taste. Service was fast and great.

I really love this restaurant. I normally go to the McCor in Crystal City and will only visit this one.

I went here for a business meeting and the food was great. The Ultimate Mixed Grill entree is the best by far. The Caesar salad is very good too.

The food was fantastic. The restaurant is too dimly lit, however. Dim is nice for relaxation, but this was too dim. Couldn't see the menu, nor our food without the flashlights on our phones.

The steak was particularly good and perfectly cooked. Great location not far from the White House.

Nice place for a chain resturant. Food is consitant and service very good.I found the lobster bisque to be a bit thick for my likeing but was good.

Shrimp stuffed with crabmeat VG. Salmon stuffed with crab also VG. 2 ate for $85 no alcohol.

Kitchen was slow. Filet was not tasty. Servers were friendly. Bar service was slow.

We were seated promptly but not approached by a server until 15 minutes later. Drinks took another 18 minutes. Just awful service. Reached out to the manager but left super disappointed. The oysters rockefeller have always been my favorites, and until this visit there have always been 6 oysters served on a beautiful, salted plate. This time there were 4 and they were served on china and tasted lousy.

The food and service were great. We were a party of two, seated facing a very loud party of 8, making it very hard to hear ourselves, the waiter, or anything else.

Difficult time getting drinks served and lobster bisque not served at dinner.

We came here for lunch. My wife had trout and I had salmon. We also had chocolate silk pie for dessert. The food was very good and the portions were generous. The service was also attentive and we very well taken care of. We look forward to returning here for lunch.

Food was very greasy... had no taste to it what so ever... salmon was very dry and we traveled from richmond va to have my birthday dinner there and was highly disappointed. The server did not seem to care at all.. she didn’t ask if we wanted anything else just took the dishes and left the table.. we will not be back anymore.. but the environment was nice
