Wonderful experience. Food and service were outstanding!
Good food, price, and customer service. Great place for lunch - small and large groups.
Our AJ was very helpful and pleasant and made our dinner even better. The table we were seated was quite and more private which made our business conversation easier. I would go this restaurant again.
I definitely would return to try to cook deedp salmon
Reliable good quality but not the best for steak and seafood. Seated 7 in a closed booth which moderated the noise a bit. Sea bass was good sized portion but a bit uninspired. (None of us looked up and said wow this is great. ).
It's an annual event celebrated with a Silver Star and a Bronz Star recipient and a couple other war heroes! Our only complaint is they stuff the 6 of us in a tiny space and we're not too buff any more. But we're thankful for the annual reunion! Thank you McCormick and Schmick!
We celebrated my husband’s birthday and had a lovely time. Staff was attentive and our food was great.
The service and staff was superior. I want to thank the management and staff for a very professional experience and attention to detail.
I've dined at McCormick's before and was never disappointed. The only dissatisfaction was that my cocktail was not as good as previous ones that I've had.
As usual, one of the best Veterans Day meals I’ve ever had.
Our waiter was clearly overworked!! There was no silverware on our table and it took him a while to get it to us...after we had received our food. Similarly it took a while to get the check.
The service was slow and the server was disinterested. When feedback was provided to management a simple thanks for sharing was offered. Nobody came back to the table after the check was presented so I had to track down the manager after 10 minutes and walk the payment to him. Unfortunate and embarrassing as I has invited associates to celebrate
Food was ok. Service was ok- in all fairness our server did have a large party to take care of- he was very professional though...The lighting was too bright...Music on the playlist was more fitting for a TGI Friday’s than a M&S (some traditional jazz / Sinatra kinda stuff would have been more appropriate) I dined here a few years back and had a great experience. Not sure if I’ll visit on my next trip to DC
Marshall was amazing. Thank you for the great service!
We enjoyed our dining experience! This is one of our favorite restaurants. Our server, Tavon, was the perfect combination of attentive without being overbearing. He made a couple menu recommendations based on our stated preferences and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious as usual and the wine selection had a few tasty new additions. We will definitely be back.
Service was slow, only one waiter for entire front seating area. Food arrived cold.
Smallest piece of fish I’ve ever been served, but priced like a full size piece. I think instead of salmon, they served me a minnow!
Food was excellent. Perhaps the best fish medley of shrimp and salmon I've ever had...but not enough food. Only 2 stuffed shrimp and a small piece of salmon. I could have eaten at least double amount served.
Service excellent but not crowded.
the Bass was excellent and the martini was perfect
Nice atmosphere....quick service for a larger group. I would definitely return.
Everyday dining with my parents. Prompt polite service and well timed hot food. We are regulars in another state and had just as great an experience here.
The quality of food at this location was subpar
Service was extremely bad
The worst service ever!!!! Will never go back. 45 minutes to get drinks. Appetizers took over an hour. Asked to see the manager twice and never came to our table. Do not recommend at all.
I can tell I’m getting older when even “dining early” does not guarantee a quiet atmosphere. Most restaurants embrace the “open concept” now, which I love in my home, but do not appreciate when trying to enjoy a romantic dinner.
Service was outstanding, food was very good, but the hustle bustle and kitchen clanging was heard throughout the establishment. Likely a wonderful place for the office staff Christmas party!
The food was good, but the bar was “out of Jack Daniels”!? The service was slow; our waiter was new, but should have had more training on timing and basic techniques such opening wine bottles.
Given its prices, the food was not really much beyond ordinary pub-grub; the restaurant was pretty noisy, there was barely enough light to read the menu. Our waiter was very attentive, but had to apologize for the lateness of our drinks, since the bar was really busy (it was full of the noisy folks whose loudness of conversation met us as we entered the place). All in all, mediocre, though our waiter was good.
Excellect food and ambience; good service. A great place for seafood.
Food was as good as expected. Went there with a client for lunch. The restaurant had a handful of tables with patrons. It took an hour to get our food. There was no excuse and no offer to reduce our meal cost ($200 for 4 at lunch). We had nothing extravagant. I will nor recommend it.
Disappointing for M&S, which is usually reliably good food. The mashed potatoes tasted dry, as if they’d been sitting on the stove a while. The beef tenderloin was decent, but unremarkable. The lobster bisque was very good. We shared a plate, but didn’t get a second plate. Waiter didn’t tell us about specials. Unenthusiastic and didn’t seem to want to be there. Hard to justify spending $90 for a bisque, a beef tenderloin, and two glasses of wine for that quality. We’ll try another restaurant for a good steak.
Our experience was subtly chaotic. Our server was pleasant and accommodating, but there were hiccups somewhere between our interaction with him and his interaction with the kitchen staff. Three of us ordered shrimp. Two plates were a nice-sized fluffy, golden brown; one plate was a scrawny, overcooked, bottom of the basket mess. Our server took it and returned with a plate (someone else's) that was waiting to be picked up by another server. That was okay with us because we didn't have to wait, but that plate was equally scrawny. We didn't bother sending it back a second time. Three of us ordered mac-n-cheese (which was promised with a layer of baked cheese on top and breadcrumbs). Only one of us got the dish and it was halfway through the meal...and it didn't have the cheese on top or the breadcrumbs. The other two orders weren't provided until we'd paid and was walking out of the door. I'm not sure why our experience was less than great, but we won't rush back for our next office lunch.
We really enjoyed ourselves at McCormick and Schmick's. The food was outstanding, service was excellent and we were far enough away from the bar area that it was very quiet in our area.
We enjoyed our dining experience.
Love, love, love McCormick and Schmicks! Happy hour is fabulous. The sourdough bread is to die for and the seafood is always delicious. We eat here whenever we come to DC.
Hard to get a bad meal here.
Absolutely would reccomend to a friend! The food was Amazing 🙌🙌🙌
Everything was beautiful and great , food was great just wish the portions of it was a little more
The food and service are great. The restaurant is dated and need to be updated. Very old and tired.
